This is bad, very bad. What kind of man betrays his closest ally? If this is true, President Obama should be impeached.
start treaty
(Telegraph) — The US secretly agreed to give the Russians sensitive information on Britain’s nuclear deterrent to persuade them to sign a key treaty, The Daily Telegraph can disclose.
Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.
Defence analysts claim the agreement risks undermining Britain’s policy of refusing to confirm the exact size of its nuclear arsenal.
"Let's hope he rots in jail"
ReplyDeleteThat's what you said of Julian Assange of Wikileaks a few weeks back, and now here you are commenting on a story you would never have known about if not for Wikileaks.
You have two choices as I see it. Shut up now, or eat your words on Wikileaks and recognize their importance.
As for the wisdom and context of this decision... I guess we'll see. You really shouldn't jump to any conclusions base on a few leaked documents though. Keep you panties on.

ReplyDeleteI fail to see the connection. Two wrongs don't make a right. If one criminal rats out another criminal, why should i apologize to the first criminal and recognize his importance? Assange is engaging in espionage. We can not allow that, even if he reveals information that the general public finds interesting or useful. He is a danger to the safety of this country. If President Obama has betrayed secrets of our allies to the Russians, he is also a danger to the safety of this country. However, I accept that the WikiLeak information could be false.
The information about President Obama giving away British nuclear secrets may be false, but if it is true, it would not surprise me.
ReplyDeleteSo you are perfectly happy to enjoy the benefits of enlightening information from wikileaks, but you refuse to acknowledge their value to democracy. Ah well, no surprise there. Conservatives have never been terribly good at connecting the dots. Everything that happens in their weird little worlds does not have a logical explanation... it's the work of god or some other such bs.
