In case you missed it, Al Sharpton stood up Trayvon Martin supporters yesterday

The Rev. Al Sharpton vowed to “occupy” Sanford over Easter weekend. Instead, Rev. Sharpton occupied Harlem.

Via Daily Caller:
On Easter Sunday the Rev. Al Sharpton, an MSNBC host, broke a major promise he made to those supporting him and the family of slain teenager Trayvon Martin: He didn’t show up in Sanford, Fla., to “occupy” the town.
On March 26 Sharpton vowed to “occupy” Sanford over Easter weekend to show support for Trayvon, the 17-year-old black teen who was shot by Hispanic neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman on Feb. 26.
“We’re going to have a full blown occupation of Sanford with tents and everything over Easter weekend until [authorities] either arrest George Zimmerman, or arrest us for praying for his arrest,” Sharpton told ABC News about two weeks before Easter.
On Easter weekend, however, Sharpton is nowhere to be found in the central Florida town. Instead, according to his Twitter feed, he’s in Harlem.

“On my way to MSNBC to do the Melissa Harris Perry Show live at 11 15 AM EST,” Sharpton said in a tweet on Easter morning around 10:30 a.m. “Then I preach the Easter services at St. Lukes Baptist in Harlem.”

Is this still even a thing? A statistically-anomalous shooting under contentious circumstances, and it's all we've heard about for what seems like weeks. It's tough for the principal parties involved, but why the rest of the world should care beyond the briefest frisson of "too bad" is beyond me. How many murders have occurred since the Martin shooting? Hopefully the non-appearance of Sharpton, ever alert to the main chance, indicates this story is on the down-slope of the news cycle.

Welcome to the CIndy Sheehan club. As long as your child's death advances the liberal agenda, the media and liberal superstars will treat you like kings, lavish you with publicity and attention, and promise that they can magically transform your child's tragic death into a new political movement that will change the world.

Once circumstances change, and there is no political benefit to exploiting your child, they will kick you to the curb and you'll never hear from them again.

It seems that as long as Sharpton can PIMP a false narrative, he is right there. When the truth starts coming out he's outta there. He now draws a check from NBC, a major purveyor of false narrative. Fits well!

All you have to do is follow the money.

MSNBC must be so proud of their racist charlatan. Even Keith Olberman is a genius compared to Sharpton.

He had to drive Tawana Brawley to Easter Services.
