Obvious: Bill Clinton Favors Laying Pipe (Video)

Bill Clinton speaking to energy innovation summit:
“One of the most amazing things to me about this Keystone pipeline deal is that they ever filed that route in the first place since they could’ve gone around the Nebraska Sandhills and avoided most of the dangers, no matter how imagined, to the Ogallala [aquifer] with a different route, which I presume we’ll get now, because the extra cost of running is infinitesimal compared to the revenue that will be generated over a long period of time,” he said.

So, I think we should embrace it and develop a stakeholder-driven system of high standards for doing the work,” Clinton added.

Worried Democrats press Obama to drill into the strategic oil reserve

Democrats have spent their lives thwarting development of new fossil fuels, but they are willing to drill into the nations strategic oil reserve if it will get them past the next election.

The Hill:
Congressional Democrats are ramping up pressure on President Obama to tap the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to prevent rising gas prices from threatening the economy and their election-year prospects.

They are growing anxious that the price of fuel could reverse their political fortunes, which had been improving due to signs of growth in the economy.

Republicans have hammered Democrats on the price spike, repeatedly noting that gas prices — now at $3.72 per gallon for regular — have doubled since Obama won the White House. [...]

Senior Democratic lawmakers and vulnerable incumbents want Obama to consider releasing tens of millions of barrels of oil stored in the SPR’s special salt caverns along the Gulf Coast.

“We may need it because this is a central issue to economic recovery. I don’t rule that out if there isn’t a move in the right direction,” said Sen. Dick Durbin (Ill.), the second-ranking Democratic leader in the upper chamber.

“If it’s going to jeopardize economic recovery, the president should seriously consider it,” Durbin added. Keep on reading...

Follow up: United States Supreme Court case Kelo v. City of New London

In 2005, the United States Supreme Court ruled 5-4 in the case of Kelo v. City of New London. The shameful ruling allowed local governments to seize your property for private development. Suzette Kelo lost the case and was paid $442,000 for her house. The developer, The Corcoran Jennison Cos, ran out of money and the project was abandoned. The proposed development is now a vacant lot.
NEW LONDON, Conn. (AP) - Weeds, glass, bricks, pieces of pipe and shingle splinters have replaced the knot of aging homes at the site of the nation's most notorious eminent domain project.

There are a few signs of life: Feral cats glare at visitors from a miniature jungle of Queen Anne's lace, thistle and goldenrod. Gulls swoop between the lot's towering trees and the adjacent sewage treatment plant.

But what of the promised building boom that was supposed to come wrapped and ribboned with up to 3,169 new jobs and $1.2 million a year in tax revenues? They are noticeably missing.

Proponents of the ambitious plan blame the sour economy. Opponents call it a "poetic justice."

"They are getting what they deserve. They are going to get nothing," said Susette Kelo, the lead plaintiff in the landmark property rights case. "I don't think this is what the United States Supreme Court justices had in mind when they made this decision."

Kelo's iconic pink home sat for more than a century on that currently empty lot, just steps away from Connecticut's quaint but economically distressed Long Island Sound waterfront. Shortly after she moved in, in 1997, her house became ground zero in the nation's best-known land rights catfight.

New London officials decided they needed Kelo's land and the surrounding 90 acres for a multimillion-dollar private development that included residential, hotel conference, research and development space and a new state park that would compliment a new $350 million Pfizer pharmaceutical research facility.

Kelo and six other homeowners fought for years, all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. In 2005, justices voted 5-4 against them, giving cities across the country the right to use eminent domain to take property for private development. Keep on reading...

A visibly frustrated Attorney General Eric Holder slammed the table when responding to a question about Operation Fast and Furious during a Tuesday budget hearing before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies.
“That was a fundamentally flawed program, fundamentally flawed,” Holder said of Fast and Furious. “And, I think that I can agree with some of my harshest critics that there are legitimate issues that need to be explored with regard in which the way Fast and Furious was carried out.”
“But, I think one thing that also has to be understood is that once this was brought to my attention” — Holder said before slamming his hand on the committee room table he was sitting at — “I stopped it. I stopped it.”

9% fewer businesses now offer medical coverage since Obamacare passes, HHS Sec. Sebelius: "The private market is in a death spiral."

But..but...Obama promised we could keep our health insurance if we like our health insurance...

The truth is Democrats planned to destroy the private health insurance market all along. The set a bomb in Obamacare.
That would be the provision of the law, called the medical loss ratio, that requires health insurance companies to spend 80% of the consumers’ premium dollars they collect—85% for large group insurers—on actual medical care rather than overhead, marketing expenses and profit. Failure on the part of insurers to meet this requirement will result in the insurers having to send their customers a rebate check representing the amount in which they underspend on actual medical care.

This is the true ‘bomb’ contained in Obamacare and the one item that will have more impact on the future of how medical care is paid for in this country than anything we’ve seen in quite some time. Indeed, it is this aspect of the law that represents the true ‘death panel’ found in Obamacare—but not one that is going to lead to the death of American consumers. Rather, the medical loss ratio will, ultimately, lead to the death of large parts of the private, for-profit health insurance industry.

REP. PETER ROSKAM: How about when the president said you can keep your health care coverage if you like it? And yet, the reality is, according to Bloomberg at least, 9 percent fewer businesses are offering medical coverage than in 2010. There, the rhetoric didn’t meet the reality, did it?
SEC. KATHLEEN SEBELIUS: Well again, Congressman, what you’re seeing – it wouldn’t have mattered if we had passed the Affordable Care Act or not. The private market is in a death spiral.

WASHINGTON, D.C – Three-term Senator Olympia J. Snowe (R-Maine) issued the following statement today with regard to her re-election campaign:
“After an extraordinary amount of reflection and consideration, I am announcing today that I will not be a candidate for re-election to the United States Senate.
“After 33 years in the Congress this was not an easy decision. My husband and I are in good health. We have laid an exceptionally strong foundation for the campaign, and I have no doubt I would have won re-election. It has been an indescribable honor and immeasurable privilege to serve the people of Maine, first in both houses of Maine’s legislature and later in both houses of Congress. To this day, I remain deeply passionate about public service, and I cherish the opportunity I have been given for nearly four decades to help improve the lives of my fellow Mainers.

Obama to UAW: “trying to climb to the very top” was not what America is “about,”

Instead, Obama – who climbed to the very top of American politics just three years ago – said that instead America was about being “all in it together,” and giving people “a hand up.”
“When our assembly lines grind to a halt, we work together, and we get them going again,” he said. “When somebody else falters, we try to give them a hand up, because we know [that] we’re all in it together.”

Interesting: Institute for Justice files amicus brief to the Supreme Court that Obamacare violates contract law

This is an interesting argument against the Obamacare mandate. Signing any contract under duress invalidates that contract. In the case of Obamacare, the duress is threat of penalties from the government. Here is a link to the IJ amicus brief.

Via Youtube:
If government-mandated health insurance is upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court after the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) case is argued in March 2012, the Institute for Justice warns in its amicus brief that there will be dire and predictable threats to individual liberty and voluntary relations that have been the foundation of American contract law for centuries.

Constitutional law professor Elizabeth Price Foley, who is the executive director of the Institute's Florida Chapter and who co-authored IJ's brief, said, "The individual mandate violates a cardinal rule of contract law—to be enforceable, all agreements must be voluntary. The Framers understood this, and would never have given the federal government the power to force individuals into lifelong contracts of insurance. The Court should not allow the government to exercise this unprecedented and dangerous power."

As IJ's brief shows, the principle of mutual assent, under which both parties must consent for a contract to be valid, is a fundamental principle of contract law that was well understood during the Founding era and is still a cornerstone of contract law today. Indeed, contracts entered under duress have long been held to be invalid. Yet the mandate forces individuals to enter into contracts of insurance that would never be valid under this longstanding principle. (For a copy of IJ's brief, visit: www.ij.org/PPACAbrief.) Sen. Charles Schumer wants to pump more oil...in Saudi Arabia

Instead of increasing drilling here in America and building a pipeline to bring in oil from Canada, Sen. Charles Schumer's energy plan is for Saudi Arabia to pump more oil.

Via The Hill:
Senate Republicans are bashing Sen. Charles Schumer’s (D-N.Y.) call for increased Saudi Arabian oil production to help ease prices, alleging it shows that Democrats are weak when it comes to boosting North American energy supplies and jobs.
Schumer on Sunday urged Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton to press Saudi officials to expand production, noting that the kingdom is producing well below its capacity of 12.5 million barrels per day.
Republicans are hopeful that the letter provides a political opening to undercut Democratic and White House energy policies.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) office on Monday circulated a press release headlined “Top Democrat Senator Demands Increased Energy Production, Jobs In Saudi Arabia Rather Than Increasing American Energy And American Jobs.”
Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, also doesn’t want Schumer’s letter to go unnoticed.
“Rather than approve the Keystone pipeline, the Democrats’ energy plan now calls for the most powerful nation in the free world to politely ask other countries for more oil and cross our fingers,” he said in a statement. Keep on reading...

Demo Senators having IRS Harass Tea Party?

The House of Representatives should launch an investigation of this alleged harassment of the Tea Party at the behest of 6 big name democratic Senators. This is wrong and possibly illegal.

Via Big Government:
What are local Tea Partiers to think with requests like “Please identify your volunteers” or “are there board members or officers who have run or will run for office (including relatives)”? What possible reason would the IRS have for Tea Parties to “name your donors” when said donations are non-deductible? These are just a few of the questions asked by the IRS in these letters, and one cannot help but suspect an intrinsic threat encompassing all these demands.

The other question is the timing of these IRS letters requesting reams of copies and hundreds of hours of work and potentially thousands of dollars in accounting/legal fees (all due in two weeks). Some of these Tea Party groups have not received anything concerning their nonprofit status since 2010 prior to these letters.

These documents are further undermined by a letter sent to the IRS Commissioner Shulman. Signed by six Senators, it requests that the commissioner investigate 501(c)(4) groups to determine whether they are engaging in substantial campaign activity, including opposition to any candidate. Who signed this letter? Senators Schumer, Franken, Udall, Shaheen, Whitehouse, Merkley and Bennet — all Democrats.

Could it be that these Senators want the IRS to investigate the nonprofit status of Media Matters and its coordinated political activity with the White House? Or perhaps they are concerned with nonprofit ACORN groups’ record of voter fraud, and other previous campaign abuses including alleged close ties with President Obama’s Project Vote?  No, when these Senators sent this letter to the IRS commissioner, the message would be very clear. The 501(c)(4) groups they want investigated are not those with Democratic liberal ties.

President Obama promised to enhance whistle-blower laws, but is actually using the Espionage Act to prosecute them

It's the Chicago way...

Via The NYT:
Jake Tapper, the White House correspondent for ABC News, pointed out that the administration had lauded brave reporting in distant lands more than once and then asked, “How does that square with the fact that this administration has been so aggressively trying to stop aggressive journalism in the United States by using the Espionage Act to take whistle-blowers to court?”

He then suggested that the administration seemed to believe that “the truth should come out abroad; it shouldn’t come out here.”

Fair point. The Obama administration, which promised during its transition to power that it would enhance “whistle-blower laws to protect federal workers,” has been more prone than any administration in history in trying to silence and prosecute federal workers.

The Espionage Act, enacted back in 1917 to punish those who gave aid to our enemies, was used three times in all the prior administrations to bring cases against government officials accused of providing classified information to the media. It has been used six times since the current president took office.

Mitt Romney went to the Daytona 500 NASCAR race Sunday for what should have been a chance to show he's one of the guys. Instead, in casual conversation with an Associated Press reporter at the Florida track, he reminded people once again that he is not exactly a regular Joe.

Asked by the AP reporter if he follows NASCAR, Romney responded, "Not as closely as some of the most ardent fans. But I have some great friends who are NASCAR team owners."

Democrats and liberals quickly ridiculed the remark on Twitter. "I don't know people who fish but I know people who own yachts," tweeted Brad Woodhouse, communications director of the Democratic National Committee. Ari Melber, a writer for the liberal Nation magazine who apparently was watching the Oscars, tweeted: "Do I like movies? Well I have some friends who own movie companies."

Obama proposes military families and retirees pay more for health benefits; leaves overpaid unionized civilian defense workers’ benefits alone

Shameful...

Via Washington Free Beacon:
The Obama administration’s proposed defense budget calls for military families and retirees to pay sharply more for their healthcare, while leaving unionized civilian defense workers’ benefits untouched. The proposal is causing a major rift within the Pentagon, according to U.S. officials. Several congressional aides suggested the move is designed to increase the enrollment in Obamacare’s state-run insurance exchanges.

The disparity in treatment between civilian and uniformed personnel is causing a backlash within the military that could undermine recruitment and retention.

The proposed increases in health care payments by service members, which must be approved by Congress, are part of the Pentagon’s $487 billion cut in spending. It seeks to save $1.8 billion from the Tricare medical system in the fiscal 2013 budget, and $12.9 billion by 2017.
A message for Military Families: Republicans wouldn't do this...

Karma: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei orders Revolutionary Guards to steal election from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won his election due to vote rigging by the Revolutionary Guards and the volunteer Basij militia.
(Telegraph) — Iran’s Supreme Leader has called on the Revolutionary Guards to ensure that his supporters emerge triumphant in this week’s parliamentary elections, according to opposition sources.

At a meeting called last week by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, the leaders of the Revolutionary Guards and the volunteer Basij militia were urged to use the same tactics employed during the controversial 2009 presidential election contest.

On that occasion widespread vote-rigging led to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad being elected to serve a second four year term, a result that produced nationwide anti-government protests.
Mr Khamenei has since fallen out with Mr Ahmadinejad in a bitter dispute over the future role of the presidency in Iranian politics.

As a consequence Mr Khamenei is now urging the Revolutionary Guards to ensure his Conservative Front wins the majority of seats in Friday’s parliamentary seats at the expense of Mr Ahmadinejad’s supporters.

Unexpected consequences: Obamacare is raising vending machine costs in Massachusetts

 Wikimedia

Under new rules expected to be implemented because of Obamacare, states will have to check vending machines to make sure the calorie count is displayed. The state of Massachusetts is already raising fees for the new inspectors. Your Twinkie is going to cost more.

The Patrick administration is pitching a staggering 500-plus percent hike in vending machine license fees — in part to meet Obama-care rules that haven’t even been written yet, the Herald has learned.

The state Department of Public Health wants to boost annual fees by 567 percent, from $3 to $20, on thousands of vending machines across the commonwealth — a move that is already pushing the wrong buttons with snack peddlers and critics of mandated health care.

Stoughton’s Next Generation Vending, the state’s biggest vending company with about 7,000 machines, would see its annual fees skyrocket from $21,000 to $140,000.[...]

Suzanne Condon, director of DPH’s Bureau of Environmental Health, said the proposed $20 fee is in line with other states, and argued it’s only “appropriate” to tap the industry to pay for its added duties under the federal Affordable Care Act, President Obama’s 2010 health-care overhaul, as well as new state rules banning sugary and fatty snacks in schools.

“The increase is primarily to support the inspectional staff that will need to focus efforts on carrying out inspections across the commonwealth,” Condon added.

Another reason, she said, is that under Obamacare rules that have not yet been finalized, vending machines will likely need to display calorie counts and other nutritional information on the outside of each machine. Keep on reading...

Pantsuit calls Republican's criticism of Obama's groveling Koran burning apology "not helpful"

Here is what the right thing to have done was.
(CNN) — Criticism of President Barack Obama’s apology for the burning of Qurans in Afghanistanis not helpful, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Sunday in a wide-ranging interview with CNN.

Obama apologized Thursday in a letter to Afghan President Hamid Karzai for the burning of Qurans, which he called “inadvertent” and an “error.”

It was the right thing to do to have our president on record as saying this was not intentional, we deeply regret it,” Clinton said.

Influential economist sticks to position new recession is inevitable

Lakshman Achuthan, co-founder of the Economic Cycle Research Institute, has never been wrong.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- While most economists have stopped worrying that the U.S. will fall into a double-dip recession, one influential economist maintains his position that the nation won't be able to avoid a new downturn.

Lakshman Achuthan, co-founder of the Economic Cycle Research Institute, said on Friday that his research firm is sticking with the forecast it made in September: A new recession is inevitable, despite improvement in high-profile economic indicators, such as job creation and unemployment, and a stock market rally.

ECRI is one of the more widely respected firms on economic recessions, as it has never been wrong when forecasting that a recession would start, or failed to predict a recession well before it was widely accepted.
Achuthan predicts the recession will happen even without a new shock to the economy, such as a spike in oil and gas prices or a Greek sovereign debt default sparking a financial meltdown. If those things occur, he says they will simply make an inevitable recession more painful.

In fact, Achuthan said data gathered since his September forecast only confirms his view that economic growth has slowed to such a degree that a downturn is now unavoidable, likely by late summer.

"Now that we have several months of definitive hard data, this is not a forecast," he said, pointing to key measures that don't receive as much attention from the public or many economists. Keep on reading...

Kennedy arrested for allegedly kicking woman in crotch

The surprising thing is it wasn't during a rough sex encounter. The indecent occurred at a hospital.

Via NY Daily News:
The petite, Brooklyn-born nurse who tussled with Robert F. Kennedy’s son in a hospital maternity ward was stunned that she fought with a member of Camelot, her husband said Saturday. [..]

He said his wife and nurse Anna Lane were simply trying to stop Kennedy, 44, from leaving the Northern Westchester Hospital with the baby, Boru, on Jan. 7 against hospital rules.

Steve Luciano said Kennedy kicked his wife in the pelvis and twisted Lane’s arm. The scuffle was caught on security camera.

“My wife was assisting Anna to simply encourage Mr. Kennedy to place the child back into its bassinet,” Luciano said. “It appears on camera that they stumbled into the stairwell and then he veered back and kicked Cari and she went sprawling to the floor.”

Both women filed police reports the night of the incident and appeared at the Mount Kisco police station a couple days later, Luciano said.

Cops arrested Kennedy on Thursday. He was charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child. Keep on reading...

Good News: The FBI turns off that secret GPS tracking device they installed on your car

You are probably thinking they only had a few of these devices. They had 3000 of them!
(WSJ)- The Supreme Court’s recent ruling overturning the warrantless use of GPS tracking devices has caused a “sea change” inside the U.S. Justice Department, according to FBI General Counsel Andrew Weissmann.

Mr. Weissmann, speaking at a University of San Francisco conference called “Big Brother in the 21st Century” on Friday, said that the court ruling prompted the FBI to turn off about 3,000 GPS tracking devices that were in use.

These devices were often stuck underneath cars to track the movements of the car owners. In U.S. v. Jones, the Supreme Court ruled that using a device to track a car owner without a search warrant violated the law.

After the ruling, the FBI had a problem collecting the devices that it had turned off, Mr. Weissmann said. In some cases, he said, the FBI sought court orders to obtain permission to turn the devices on briefly – only in order to locate and retrieve them. Keep on reading...

Global warming is going to shrink us or something

The 'warmists' are getting desperate.

Via The State:
Humans may be much shorter if global warming continues, according to the latest study.
A new study finds that ancient horses shrunk even smaller than their ancestors, a trend scientists say is likely the result of global warming.
Modern mammals, including humans, could be at risk of shrinking as a result of global warming, just as small prehistoric horses shrank to an even smaller size when temperatures rose 56 million years ago.
The proposal follows from a study of Sifrhippus, the first horse, 56 million years ago. Sifrhippus shrank from about 12 pounds average weight to about eight and a half pounds as the climate warmed over thousands of years, according to a report published by a team of researchers and reported in the journal Science on Thursday.
The study finds that early horses were much smaller than their modern day ancestors, which have since been bred for speed, size, and a number of additional attributes. The earliest-known horse, Sifrhippus, first appeared in North America during the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum, when increased concentrations of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and oceans caused average global temperatures to begin to rise.

Deception: Obama claims credit for oil production increase

President Obama is touting an increase in oil production as one of his accomplishments. Here is the chart and info from barackobama.com. (accent is mine)
Since taking office, President Obama has called for an “all-of-the-above” approach to reducing America’s dependence on foreign oil, including an increase in safe and responsible oil production here at home.
Today, America’s oil production is at its highest level in eight years:

Does Obama deserve any credit for this or is it all those oil drilling permits former President G. W. Bush issued? Bush increased oil drilling permits 70% from the Clinton era. Let's see how Obama is doing issuing new offshore oil drilling permits.
The truth is there has been a 69 percent reduction in the number of offshore drilling plans approved under President Obama. It also takes 52% longer for the lucky few to get a permit approved.
Even former President Bill Clinton thinks Obama's oil drilling permit delays are ridiculous.

President Bashar al-Assad of Syria loses Hamas

Syria is a key supporter of Hamas, along with Iran. It looks like Hamas has seen the writing on the wall and is cutting their losses with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
CAIRO/GAZA, Feb 24 (Reuters)Leaders of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas turned publicly against their long-time ally President Bashar al-Assad of Syria on Friday, endorsing the revolt aimed at overthrowing his dynastic rule.
The policy shift deprives Assad of one of his few remaining Sunni Muslim supporters in the Arab world and deepens his international isolation. It was announced in Hamas speeches at Friday prayers inCairo and a rally in the Gaza Strip.
Hamas went public after nearly a year of equivocating as Assad’s army, largely led by fellow members of the president’s Alawite sect, has crushed mainly Sunni protesters and rebels.
In a Middle East split along sectarian lines between Shi’ite and Sunni Islam, the public abandonment of Assad casts immediate questions over Hamas’s future ties with its principal backer Iran, which has stuck by its ally Assad, as well as with Iran’s fellow Shi’ite allies in Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement.

They also have plenty of iPhone cases, but, strangely,  no Blackberry case. There is a dog food bowl and a dog bandana, but I was disappointed to learn there was no Obama pooper scooper.

Pandering for the Hispanic Vote; Number of deportations drops by one third

President Obama is shoring up his Hispanic base by allowing more illegals to stay in this country.

Via LA Times:
The number of deportation cases filed by federal immigration officials dropped by nearly a third in the first three months of the fiscal year, according to a report by the Syracuse University Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse.
The drop recorded in the last three months of 2011 may reflect the Obama administration’s plan to focus its deportation efforts by weighing a variety of discretionary factors, including whether the person is a veteran, came to the U.S. as a child or is a college student, according to the report. But experts said it’s too soon to say if deportations overall will decline.
From October through December, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement initiated 39,331 deportation cases in immigration court, down from 58,639 the previous quarter, the report says.
Filings are typically lower during the holiday months, but even adjusted for the seasonal drop-off the numbers are significantly lower, according to the authors.

Mitt Romney leads President Obama by 4 percentage points in Gallup’s latest national head-to-head polling.
If the election were held Thursday, 50 percent said they would support Romney, versus 46 percent who would support Obama, according to Gallup. The president holds the edge on former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.), 49 percent to 48 percent.

The poll has a 4 percent margin of error, so the results mean Obama is statistically tied with both candidates. Read more...

Flashback to 2008: Candidate Barack Obama nods in approval when man says he is happy about $4 a gallon gas (video)

From a June 2008 campaign stop in Wisconsin:

By a July campaign stop in Missouri, Candidate Obama had a plan to lower gas prices. He wanted us to air up our tires.

Candidate Obama's supporters didn't think high gas prices would be a problem. They thought Obama would buy their gas for them.

How is that 'Hope and Change' working out for you?

Michelle Obama leaves the slopes of Aspen and immediately heads to a 1% fundraiser to criticize the rich

The hypocrisy is astounding.
(Washington Examiner) — First lady Michelle Obama has joined her husband’s bandwagon to hit the rich and spread the wealth, questioning how well-off families can feel good if others are struggling.
To about 300 supporters wealthy enough to pay $300-$10,000 to attend the mid-day event, the first lady said, “If a family in this country is struggling, we cannot be satisfied with our own families’ good fortune.”
She also rapped the rich, as has her husband. “Who do we want to be?” Obama asked. “Will we be a country where success is limited to the few at the top? This country is strongest when we are all better off.”
Fundraising in Cincinnati, Ohio as her husband raised cash in Florida, she also said that the change President Obama offered in 2008 “does not come easy.” And she added, “change is slow, but we will get there,” according to a pool report of the event.
