Bill Maher: America is a stupid country (video)
Bill Maher said this to CNN's Wolf Blitzer. When Blitzer gave hem a chance to retract the statement, Maher elaborated on just how stupid he thinks America is.
I agree with Maher, they had a presidential candidate tell them he was going to change America into a Marxist state. And idiots like Bill Maher followed him anyways.
Maher is absolutely correct. Let's look at the evidence:
*George Bush Presidency. *Sarah Palin getting as far as she did. *Corporate America (military industrial complex, Wall Street greed, banking, insurance industry, etc.) run the US. *Masses easily led by media. Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh are not stupid... but the fact that they can sway so many testifies to the lack of intelligence among so many Americans. *Support of Iraq War; lack of support and calling for accountability in Afghan War. *An educational system that is test-reliant and does not teach needed skills for 21st Century survival
Need I go on? And why do I not leave this country, some would ask? Because I am a patriot -- and will do what I can, in my own small way to try to change things. After all, the US still is the greatest democracy on earth.
