Stimulus Jobs Creation Fail

Despite promises the Stimulus bill would keep unemployment to eight percent or less, unemployment has jumped by almost two percent since the bill was passed. Data seems to indicate Republican criticism of the bill's lack of focus on job creation was justified.

The Hill reported:
Data published Thursday showed contracts from the $787 billion economic stimulus created or saved 30,083 jobs, prompting more criticism from Republicans that the package was a failure.
