Gov. Jan Brewer Responds to Obama Suing Arizona for Helping to Enforce Federal Immigration Law

President Obama has followed through on the threat to file a lawsuit against the state of Arizona for their attempt to enforce immigration law.

The The Arizona Republic reported Gov. Jan Brewer's response:
"It is wrong that our own federal government is suing the people of Arizona for helping to enforce federal immigration law. As a direct result of failed and inconsistent federal enforcement, Arizona is under attack from violent Mexican drug and immigrant smuggling cartels," Brewer said in a written statement. "Now, Arizona is under attack in federal court from President Obama and his Department of Justice. Today's filing is nothing more than a massive waste of taxpayer funds."
Adding insult to injury, the man, Tony West, leading charge against the the citizens of Arizona is one of the "Gitmo 7" attorneys who are infamous for defending terrorists who were involved in the 9/11 attack.
