Terrorists in the Bluegrass State?

Two Iraqi's living in Bowling Green, KY have been arrested for attempting to export stinger missiles to al Qeada and making IED's while in Iraq. How did these men get refugee status in the U.S.?

BGDailyNews
LOUISVILLE — Two Iraqi refugees living in Bowling Green were arraigned today on federal terrorism charges - including accusations of attempting to kill U.S. troops with explosive devices in Iraq. Waad Ramadan Alwan, 30, and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, 23, are charged in a 23-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Bowling Green on May 26. The men made their initial federal court appearance today in Louisville.

Alwan is accused of conspiring to kill U.S. nationals overseas, conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction against U.S. nationals overseas, distributing information on how to manufacture and use improvised explosive devices, attempting to provide material support to terrorists and to al-Qaida in Iraq and conspiring to transfer, possess and export Stinger missiles.

Hammadi is charged with attempting to provide material support to terrorists and to al-Qaida in Iraq, as well as conspiracy to transfer, possess and export Stinger missiles.

The men were arrested Wednesday in Bowling Green. The FBI set up a mobile command center behind the Bowling Green Police Department headquarters last week, where FBI agents in camouflage, body armor and suits could be seen moving between the mobile command center and the BGPD.

CBS News Producer on Palin Bus Tour:" ...this is dangerous,”

Oh my! It's the bus tour of terror! Is he serious?
(CBS News) - Since Palin and her team won’t share where the potential candidate is headed, reporters and producers have little choice but to simply stay close to Palin’s bus. This has resulted in scenes of the Palin bus tooling down the highway followed by a caravan of 10 or 15 vehicles – including a massive CNN bus – all trying to make sure they don’t lose sight of the Palin bus.

It adds up to a dangerous situation, says CBS News Producer Ryan Corsaro.

“I just hope to God that one of these young producers with a camera whose bosses are making them follow Sarah Palin as a potential Republican candidate don’t get in a car crash, because this is dangerous,” he said.

Obama Buddy and Bill Ayers Wife Bernardine Dohrn: America is a Terrorist Empire

Bernardine Dohrn thinks America is a terrorist empire. This isn't surprising because she is the wife of Bill Ayers and a former member of the terrorist organization Weather Underground. Dohrn and Michelle Obama worked for the same law firm in the late 1980's. By the time Barack Obama ran for for Illinois state senate in 1995, Barack, Michelle, Bill and Bernardine all seemed to be good buddies.

Palestinians plan another march on Israel's borders

President Obama seen nodding in approval...
(JPost) — Following the example of this month’s Nakba Day marches, Palestinians and their supporters are preparing to launch another multipronged assault on Israel’s borders this week to mark the “Naksa,” or setback, of Arab defeat and territorial losses in the 1967 Six Day War.

The website “Third Palestinian Intifada” and its Facebook page, “Countdown to the Third Palestinian Intifada,” have posted detailed plans for marches on Israel’s borders with Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Gaza, as well as processions to Jerusalem’s Al- Aksa Mosque, on three separate dates before and during the war’s anniversary.

The Downside To Arab Spring

Osama Bin Laden: His Death and the Future of Al Qaeda and the Islamist Jihad

Al Qaida is taking advantage of the opportunity to move in.
(JPost) — Over 400 al-Qaida members have made their way into the Sinai Peninsula, a senior Egyptian security official told the Al-Hayyat satellite television station on Monday.

Egyptian security officials were pursuing the terrorists, who are composed of Palestinians, Beduins and foreign Arab citizens, according to the report. The group was reportedly planning to carry out terror attacks in Egypt, the official said.

Additionally, the terrorists carried out “a number of attacks against [Egyptian]security forces in the Sinai city of El Arish,” the official told Al-Hayyat.

If there is any justice in this world, the next tornado will flatten his house.
(MailOnline)- A mayor in a small town devastated by a tornado has sparked outrage over his refusal to let homeless residents stay in trailers provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

Jack Scott has been branded heartless after his decision not to waive a local law banning single-wide trailers in the town of Cordova, Alabama.

He said he fears the temporary accommodation could become permanent and says he doesn't want run-down mobile homes parked all over town.

NYC Mayor Bloomberg: Global Warming Could Make Earth Uninhabitable Withing 50 Years or Something

NYC Mayor Bloomberg has put on his chicken little hat and is sounding the Global Warming doomsday siren.
MICHAEL BLOOMBERG: If you ask the public ‘is there global warming,’ is in ’50 years the earth going to be dramatically different or perhaps uninhabitable,‘ their eyes roll. Nobody can think 50 years in advance.

MICHAEL BLOOMBERG: Your job is not to ask the public where they want to go and get behind them. Your job is to tell the public and convince the public where they should go, and lead from the front.

The Mayors of these cities are not asking the public whether they are willing to spend to live healthier lives and live longer. They are there to explain to the public that if they don’t spend that money they’re not going to live as long and not going to be as healthy. And then convince them to come along, reach into their pockets, pay their taxes, change their policies.
Before you panic at Mayor Bloomberg's words, please review the charts posted below. Sea level is rising at a mean of 3.1 mm per year for the last 15 years. Extrapolated for 50 years, that equates to a sea level rise of a little over 6 inches. That is troubling for beach erosion, but hardly reason to start building an Ark. As you can see from the bottom 15 year temperature chart, global warming seems to be stalling out. The climate models used to predict anthropogenic global warming have the temperature rising at an exponential rate due to the effect of man-made greenhouse gases. That clearly isn't happening at the moment.

Muslims attack Christian Churches. Egypt military court prosecutes Christians.

Please tell me why we are sending our tax dollars to Egypt?
(AINA) — A Military court in Egypt has sentenced three Christian Copts to 5-years imprisonment on charges of possession of firearms and pocket knives. The Court released all other Muslims and Copts arrested following clashes on May 19 over the re-opening of St. Mary and St. Abraham churches in Ain Shams West (AINA 5-24-2011). Copts Emad Ayyad and Ayman Youssef Halim were convicted of carrying firearms. Emad Ayyam’s son, Ayad Emad Ayad, was convicted of carrying a pocket knife.
Eight Copts, mostly students, were arrested in Ain Shams West and charged with rioting, violence and causing injury to citizens. Three of the Copts were also charged with possession of firearms and knives. Police arrested three under-age Muslims on charges of throwing stones at the army.
Defense lawyer Abraham Edward said “This is a very unjust, severe and cruel verdict.” He said that as lawyers they are unable to fathom what is going on. “Today’s case is very strange, a case where there is not one shred of evidence to indict them. If this case went in front of the International Court of Justice they would all be set free.” He criticized the five-year prison sentence handed down to Ayad Emad Ayad for carrying a pocket knife. According to the law this is punishable by a six months suspended sentence.

Unemployment may drop to 7% by 2016

Uh, thanks President Obama. Wasn't the stimulus supposed to keep unemployment from going above 7%?
(Yahoo Finance)- Even as the economy recovers, the days of 5% unemployment may be gone for good.
A chorus of economists and labor market observers say that the “natural” or “structural” rate of unemployment has shifted up, meaning that Americans looking for work should get used to having a harder time finding it. The unemployment rate is currently 9% and could take until 2016 to reach the natural rate.
The so-called natural unemployment rate is somewhere around 7%, according to Mark Vitner, a senior economist at Wells Fargo. Other economists peg the natural unemployment rate somewhere between 5.5% and 7%. They said the figure will be held higher by a skills mismatch in the labor market that has been growing since the 1970s, the recent extension of unemployment benefits and the 2009 minimum wage increase.
“Businesses are looking to hire, but the workers they are looking to hire are not there in the abundance that they want them to be,” Vitner said.
Slightly more than half of U.S. businesses are having trouble finding the right candidate for open jobs, according to a survey released today of 1,322 U.S. businesses by global recruitment firm ManpowerGroup. In 2010, only 14% of respondents had similar gripes.

Run Rudy Run?

The Full Rudy: The Man, the Myth, the Mania

A CNN/Opinion Research puts Rudy Giuliani in a tree way tie for the GOP 2012 presidential nomination.
(The Hill) – Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani (R) could have a significant impact on the Republican primary field if he chooses to run, a poll released Friday showed.

CNN/Opinion Research survey showed Giuliani, who ran a failed presidential campaign in 2008, statistically tied with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) in a hypothetical match-up. Giuliani received 16 percent support from Republicans, Romney got 15 percent and Palin received 13 percent.

The poll can be seen as a testament to the unsettled nature of the Republican field of candidates looking to unseat President Obama in 2012.

Obama NLRB: Unions have right to deploy giant rats or something

The real rats are the union bosses.
(AP) — Federal regulators say union activists have the legal right to display giant inflatable rats outside companies during labor disputes.

The National Labor Relations Board says putting up a 16-foot-tall rat balloon is allowed even if the business is not directly involved in the conflict between the union and another employer.

The Carpenters union and other labor groups often use the giant rat as a form of street theater. The goal is to shame companies that hire outside contractors who refuse to use union workers or pay union-scale wages.

Standing Up To Obama Boosts Netanyahu’s Popularity In Israel

Republicans and Democrats here in the U.S.A. should take note of this poll.
From the poll, it emerged that Netanyahu’s trip not only put a brake on the drop in his popularity ratings, but actually reversed the trend.

While in a Haaretz poll five weeks ago Netanyahu seemed to be in hot water with the public, with 38 percent expressing satisfaction with his performance and 53 percent disappointed with it, in yesterday’s poll the results were essentially reversed: 51 percent were satisfied, while 36 percent were not.

It’s doubtful that U.S. President Barack Obama enjoyed such a spike in his popularity after the assassination of Osama bin Laden.

Guess Who is Doing Insider Trading

It is our elected representatives in Washington. They are able to somehow significantly outperform the market. Since we have already determined they aren't that smart, the only explanation is insider knowledge. Those business bashing Democrats are actually beating the pants off their Republican counterparts. Isn't that shocking?
Despite the GOP's reputation as the party of the rich, House Republicans fared worse than their Democratic colleagues when it comes to investing, according to the study. The Democratic subsample of lawmakers beat the market by 73 basis points per month, or 9 percent annually, versus 18 basis points per month, or 2 percent annually, for the Republican sample.
"Given the almost folkloric belief that Wall Street invariably favors Republicans, the superior performance of trades made by Democratic representatives may seem surprising," the study authors said.

Texas Senate Cowers Before TSA

The Texas House passed a bill making it criminal for TSA to fondle passengers genitals. This should be a no-brainer, but after TSA threatened to close Texas airports and cancel all flights, the Texas Senate rolled over like a dog wanting it's belly rubbed. and failed to even vote on the bill. This was a shameful day in the proud state of Texas.
Realizing he ultimately did not have the votes, Patrick decided to withdraw the bill, but not before making his passion for state autonomy known: “There was a time in this state, there was a time in our history, where we stood up to the federal government and we did not cower to rules and policies that invaded the privacy of Texans.”

After the bill was withdrawn, senators approached state Rep. David Simpson, R-Longview, the House author of the bill, who was watching from the Senate rail. They said they were looking for a way to delay the effective date of the bill (which otherwise would be immediate) to prevent the federal government from closing Texas airports.

“They’re basically saying, unless you allow us to grope your genitals, you can’t fly. I hope Texans would say come and show us the law,” Simpson said. “This is a Gonzales moment. ‘Come and take it.’”

Wisconsin Governor Walker Signs Voter ID Bill

You can't open a checking account or buy cigarettes, liquor and cold medicine without showing a photo ID. However, you can vote in some states without proof of who you are. I find this shocking, but Democrats don't want to change this. Their motives are highly suspicious. Wisconsin Governor Walker has put an end to this travesty in Wisconsin.
After an eight-year quest by GOP officials, Gov. Scott Walker will sign a bill Wednesday requiring voters to show photo ID at the polls.

But the measure costing more than $7 million in new spending and lost revenue could still face a legal challenge as opponents mulled over the possibility of suing to block it from taking effect.

The legislation will require poll workers to start asking voters for photo IDs for the July 12 state Senate recalls elections, but the voters will not be required to present them until next year's presidential primary.

"Requiring photo identification to vote will go a long way to eliminate the threat of voter fraud," Walker said last week. "If you need an ID to buy cold medicine, it's reasonable to require it to vote."

Socialized Medicine Alert: UK Doctors Have to Prescribe Water to Keep Medical Staff From Allowing Patients to Die of Dehydration

Spring Water, 16.9 Oz. Bottles, Case Of 24

This is the system President Obama and Democrats want to bring to America. Obamacare is only the first step.
(Daily Mail) — Doctors are prescribing drinking water for neglected elderly patients to stop them dying of thirst in hospital.

The measure – to remind nurses of the most basic necessity – is revealed in a damning report on pensioner care in NHS wards.

Some trusts are neglecting the elderly on such a fundamental level their wards could face closure orders.
The snapshot study, triggered by a Mail campaign, found staff routinely ignored patients’ calls for help and forgot to check that they had had enough to eat and drink.

Liberal Heartache: Ed Schultz Suspended for One Week for Calling Laura Ingraham a ‘Right-Wing Slut’

If MSNBC had any sense of decency, they would fire Ed Schultz for good.
(Politico)- MSNBC has suspended Ed Schultz, host of the “The Ed Show,” for one week without pay for calling conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham a ‘right-wing slut’ on his syndicated radio program Tuesday.

“Remarks of this nature are unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” MSNBC said in a statement.

MSNBC said Schultz will address the remarks on his show Wednesday night, and begin his leave immediately afterward. He will return on June 6th.

“MSNBC management met with Ed Schultz this afternoon and accepted his offer to take one week of unpaid leave for the remarks he made yesterday on his radio program,” MSNBC said.

Gallop Finds Electric Cars Will Not Be Popular

57% say they won't buy an electric car no matter what price gas rises too.
(USA Today) — Nearly six of 10 Americans — 57% — say they won’t buy an all-electric car no matter the price of gas, according to a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll.

That’s a stiff headwind just as automakers are developing electrics to help meet tighter federal rules that could require their fleets to average as high as 62 miles per gallon in 2025. And President Obama has set a goal of a million electric vehicles in use in the U.S. by 2015.

The anti-electric sentiment unmasked by the poll shows that pure electrics — defined in the poll question as “an electric car that you could only drive for a limited number of miles at one time” — could have trouble getting a foothold in the U.S.

Fail: Stimulus to raise deficit $43 billion more than expected

The new estimate is from the CBO. Apparently, all the Stimulus rosy employment promises aren't panning out.
(Daily Caller)- The Congressional Budget Office said in a new report that President Obama’s economic stimulus law will raise the federal deficit $830 billion over ten years, $43 billion more than the initially estimated cost of $787 billion.

During the law’s consideration in Congress, the Joint Committee on Taxation made the initial estimate.

CBO estimated the law lowered the unemployment rate by between .6 and 1.8 percent in the first quarter of 2011 and increased the number of people employed by between 1.2 million and 3.3 million during that same period.

Obama and congressional Democrats enacted the law, arguing it would provide a quick jolt to the economy. Republicans opposed the law, saying it would increase deficits and wasn’t designed to work quickly.

CBO estimated the government spending in the law had a major impact on the economy, increasing the Gross National Product by as much as 4.6 percent in the second quarter of 2010.

Shocking: Historical rankings of American presidents are significantly weighted in favor of Democrats

An American Life: The AutobiographyThe Notes: Ronald Reagan's Private Collection of Stories and Wisdom

Actually, it's not shocking. Considering the liberal academic establishment, it is expected.
(Washington Times) — Call it history’s conservative curse.

According to a University of Miami study, those historical rankings of American presidents that pop up every year or so are significantly weighted in favor of Democrats, thanks to the liberal leanings of academia.

Political science professor Joseph E. Uscinski, one of the study’s authors, said the new analysis shows that the overwhelmingly liberal academic community consistently ranks Republican presidents about 10 spots lower than the public would.

“I don’t think anyone is surprised,” Mr. Uscinski told The Washington Times. “Among the political scientists and historians that I work with, Democrats outnumber Republicans 8 to 1.”

What was eye-opening, he said, was the stark difference between the historians’ assessments of Republicans and the grades given by the public.

Barack Obama does not know what year it is

I knew Barack Obama was out of touch, but he doesn't know what year it is? Isn't that one of the questions they ask people to determine if they are rational? Obama signed Westminster Abbey's distinguished visitors log with a 2008 date.
But the president seemed to have made a gaffe during the occasion - signing Westminster Abbey's distinguished visitors' book with the wrong year.

Mr Obama dated his entry in the book May 24 2008, rather than the current year.

Apparently Mr Obama was heard to ask the dean what the day's date was - but managed to get the year wrong.

A Westminster Abbey spokeswoman confirmed it was the president who had written the wrong date.

New Study: Whites Feeling More Discriminated Against

But...but...I thought President Obama was to be the multiracial President who brought us all together.
(Daily Mail) – White Americans feel they are more discriminated against than blacks, a new study reveals.
Sociologists from Harvard and Tufts universities asked 209 white and 208 black men and women to rate ‘racism’ against both ethnic groups since the 1950s on a scale of one to 10.

The results showed that while both blacks and whites saw anti-black racism decreasing over the decades, whites saw race relations as a ‘zero sum game’ where they were losing out as blacks ‘gained’ the advantage.
The results, published in the journal Perspectives on Psychological Science, showed that on average blacks saw anti-white bias rising slightly from 1.4 in the 1950s to 1.8 today.

Blacks also perceived that racism against themselves had steeply declined from 9.7 in the 1950s to 6.1 in the 90s.

White respondents, however, saw a very different picture.

For the 2000s, 11 per cent of whites gave anti-white bias the maximum 10 out of 10 rating, compared with only two per cent of whites who did so for anti-black bias.

Whites believed that discrimination against them had increased from an average of 1.8 in the 1950s to 4.7 in the 2000s.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is about to be rescued by the arrival of the 12th Imam or something

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is on the ropes in Iran. He is hoping for the return of what his follows believe will be the ultimate savior of humankind.
(PJM)- Based on a report from Iran’s Ayandeh, one of the officials within “The Deviant Movement” has informed his confidants that certain sources close to the “Mahdi’s Emergence Movement” have stated that an important event will soon change the course of operations to Ahmadinejad’s favor. According to interpretations offered by Ahmadinejad’s team, a high-ranking member of the Islamic Republic will meet with a climactic incident. This in turn will build up to the announcement of the “covert emergence” of the Twelfth Imam (or Mahdi) in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

Hardliners critical of Ahmadinejad  maintain that his team believes a covert emergence will commence on the 14th of Khordaad (June 5) in Medina, setting the stage for the announcement of the actual emergence in the next few years.

Doomsday Preacher Sets a New date

According to Harold Camping, Judgment Day will be 1994 May 21, 2011 Oct. 21, 2011. It's time for Reverend Camping's followers to buy a vowel and realize he has no idea when the world will end.
(WND)- All warnings of the end of the world have apparently been "raptured" off the homepage of a doomsday preacher who wrongly predicted the return of Jesus over the weekend, and made a new prediction tonight that the end would now come on Oct. 21 of this year.

For many months, Oakland, Calif.-based Family Radio and its main voice Harold Camping had been thundering warnings that Judgment Day was to take place May 21, 2011, and that it would be a certainty with "no Plan B."

Hamas spokesman promises to make peace with Israel fail

Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices

What else would you expect from a bunch of terrorists?
(CNS News) – “The U.S. administration will fail, just as all others have in the past, in forcing Hamas to recognize [Israel],” a Hamas spokesman declared Sunday after President Obama once again pressed the terrorist group to relinquish violence and recognize Israel’s right to exist.

Sami Abu Zuhri, spokesman for the group that controls the Gaza Strip, reiterated a stand which, in Obama’s own words, should make it impossible for Israel to negotiate with a Palestinian government that includes Hamas.

Hamas and its rival, Fatah – Palestinian Authority (P.A.) chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ movement – early this month signed a reconciliation agreement and agreed to establish a “unity” government.
If Palestinians can not accept even the possibility of an Israeli state in the middle East, there can never be peace.

Ex-Dem Rep. Cynthia McKinney Tells Iran State TV a "Big One"

As in "Big Lie." McKinney told Iran State TV members of congress were forced to pledge allegiance to Israel.
(Breitbart) — Former Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney traveled to Iran and appeared on Iranian Television providing the authoritarian regime a propaganda bonanza:

Press TV: I just want to get into this pledge a little bit more. So this is basically something that is mandatory, that every Congressperson has to sign saying that what Jerusalem as you said is the capital of Israel, and what else?

McKinney: You make a commitment that you would vote to support the military superiority of Israel that the economic assistant that Israel wants that you would vote to provide that.

Press TV: This is not a question for the Congress people serving that they are representing or they are supposed to be representing the people of the United States not a foreign country and yet they have to pledge allegiance to a foreign state? No one questions this?

McKinney: That is what I was asked to do and I made it public.

He is coming back

No, not Arnold. He is never coming back. I mean Vladimir Putin. He has decided to run for the presidency next year.
(The Australian) – RUSSIAN Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has decided to run for the presidency next year, raising the possibility of a power struggle with his protege Dmitry Medvedev, the incumbent Kremlin leader, say highly placed sources.

The once-close relationship between Mr Putin, the tough-talking former KGB officer who has inspired a personality cult, and Mr Medvedev, a softly spoken Twitter enthusiast, has become increasingly fractious amid speculation in Moscow that the younger man wishes to stand again.

Insiders familiar with both leaders said Mr Putin, who served eight years as president before becoming Prime Minister three years ago, had begun to lose confidence in Mr Medvedev’s loyalty.

Under the constitution, Mr Putin’s move to reclaim the presidency could see him rule for two consecutive six-year terms until 2024, when he will be 72. If so, he would have served as prime minister or president for 24 years in all.

Former Dem Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney Slams U.S. on Libyan State TV

How did she ever get elected in Georgia? Since we are engaging in military action against Libya, isn't this giving aid and comfort to the enemy?
(CNN) — A former U.S. congresswoman slammed U.S. policy on Libyan state TV late Saturday and stressed the “last thing we need to do is spend money on death, destruction and war.”

The station is fiercely loyal to Moammar Gadhafi and her interview was spliced with what appeared to be rallies in support of the embattled Libyan leader.

“I think that it’s very important that people understand what is happening here. And it’s important that people all over the world see the truth. And that is why I am here … to understand the truth,” former Rep. Cynthia McKinney said during a live interview.

She said she was invited to Libya by the “nongovernmental organization for fact-finding,” adding that she intends to bring more people to the country soon so that “they too can understand.”

Sarah Palin Schools Obama on Israel

Somebody needs to get Obama to understand the realities of the Middle East. President Obama is clueless.

Socialists in Spain prepare for historic defeat

President Obama hardest hit...
(AP)- Polls indicate Zapatero's party could suffer the humiliation of losing historic Socialist strongholds.

The financial crisis has forced deep cuts and left Spain burdened with 21.3 percent unemployment, the highest of any nation using the Euro as its currency. The jobless rate among the young stands at 40 percent and a total of 4.9 million people are out of work in Spain, the highest number since 1997.

A large proportion of those in work earn just €1,000 ($1,400) or less per month.

Spain is forecasting limp growth of just 1.3 percent for itself in 2011, but even the Bank of Spain has rated that prediction as optimistic.
Unemployment is over 20% in Spain. It will take Obama a second term to raise unemployment that high here in America.

WH Press Secretary Jay Carney Denies Obama Said Israel Should return To 1967 Borders

Obama's spokes-liar claims Obama said Israel's borders should be based on 1967 borders. The difference is?

Canada PM Stephen Harper Refuses to Back Obama’s Call for Israel to Withdraw to 1967 Borders

It is so nice to have a sane conservative government in Canada. If only we had that in the U.S.A...
(Globe and Mail) — The Harper government is refusing to join the United States in calling for a return to 1967 borders as a starting point for Mideast peace, a position that has drawn sharp criticism from Canada’s staunch ally Israel.

At a briefing ahead of the upcoming G8 summit in France, federal officials said the basis for the negotiations must be mutually agreed upon.

Israel quickly rejected U.S. President Barack Obama’s proposal for the talks to be guided by the 1967 borders, with mutually agreed land swaps.

“What the government of Canada supports is basically a two-state solution that is negotiated,” a senior federal official said. “If it’s border, if it’s others issues, it has to be negotiated, it cannot be unilateral action.”

Was Iran Involved In 9/11?

An article in the NYT suggests they had foreknowledge and may have provided some aide to al Qaeda.
Two defectors from Iran's intelligence service have testified that Iranian officials had "foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks," according to a court filing Thursday in a federal lawsuit in Manhattan that seeks damages for Iran's "direct support for, and sponsorship of, the most deadly act of terrorism in American history."
One of the defectors also claimed that Iran was involved in planning the attacks, the filing said. The defectors' identities and testimony were not revealed in the filing but were being submitted to a judge under seal, said lawyers who brought the original suit against Iran on behalf of families of dozens of 9/11 victims.
The suit's allegation that Iran had foreknowledge of the attacks is hard to assess fully, given that the defectors' testimony is being filed under seal.
The suit contends that Iran and Hezbollah, the Lebanese militant organization with close ties to Tehran, helped Al Qaeda in planning the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and in facilitating the hijackers' training and travel. After the attacks, the suit contends, Iran and Hezbollah helped Qaeda operatives escape, providing some with a safe haven in Iran.
If this is true, will Obamabi have the guts to do anything about it?

Has our government secretly been working towards a North American Union

New Wikileaks document indicate our government officials are discussing a north American Union and prefer to take an incremental approach. The incremental approach is no doubt designed to keep the sheeple in the dark.
(WND)- An incremental and pragmatic package of tasks for a new North American Initiative (NAI) will likely gain the most support among Canadian policymakers. Our research leads us to conclude that such a package should tackle both 'security' and 'prosperity' goals. This fits the recommendations of Canadian economists who have assessed the options for continental integration. While in principle many of them support more ambitious integration goals, like a customs union/single market and/or single currency, most believe the incremental approach is most appropriate at this time, and all agree that it helps pave the way to these goals if and when North Americans choose to pursue them.

Harry Reid: Democrats would be "foolish" to offer own budget plan

Cowards...
(LA Times) — Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said it would be “foolish” for Democrats to propose their own federal budget for 2012, despite continued attacks from Republicans that the party is ducking its responsibility to put forward a solution to the nation’s deficit problems.

“There’s no need to have a Democratic budget in my opinion,” Reid said in an interview Thursday. “It would be foolish for us to do a budget at this stage.”

Democrats announced Thursday that they would decline to pursue a budget, preferring to await a resolution to various bipartisan budget efforts underway. Those include the White House talks — led by Vice President Joe Biden — with congressional leaders to strike an accord in exchange for raising the nation’s debt limit.

Obama Claims He Doesn't Need Congressional Authorization To Continue Libyan War

When the U.S joined military action against Libya, President Obama cited the 1973 War Powers Act as a legal basis. That act requires a congressional vote withing 60 days. Now, Obama is contradicting himself.
(ABC News) — In an effort to satisfy those arguing he needs to seek congressional authorization to continue US military activity in accordance with the War Powers Resolution, President Obama wrote a letter to congressional leaders this afternoon suggesting that the role is now so “limited” he does not need to seek congressional approval.
“Since April 4,” the president wrote, “U.S. participation has consisted of: (1) non-kinetic support to the NATO-led operation, including intelligence, logistical support, and search and rescue assistance; (2) aircraft that have assisted in the suppression and destruction of air defenses in support of the no-fly zone; and (3) since April 23, precision strikes by unmanned aerial vehicles against a limited set of clearly defined targets in support of the NATO-led coalition’s efforts.”
From the beginning of the U.S. military intervention in Libya, the Obama administration has cited the 1973 War Powers Act as the legal basis of its ability to conduct military activities for 60 days without first seeking a declaration of war from Congress. The military intervention started on March 19; Congress was notified on March 21. Those 60 days expire today.

Netanyahu schools Obama on why Israel’s 1967 borders are indefensible. Obama must have hated this, but he sat there and took it.

Obama Gives AARP Reward For Obamacare Support

If you didn't like everything in the Obamacare bill, but lied through your teeth to help get it passed, President Obama hasn't forgotten you. The pay-offs keep coming. We have already learned 20% of the last round of Obamacare waivers went to Nancy Pelosi's congressional district and Harry Reid's entire state of Nevada got an exemption. The AARP was also critical in helping pass the Obamacare monstrosity. They supported the bill in spite the fact it included a of a half a billion dollars in Medicare cuts and was very unfavorable to seniors. Many people speculated the reason for the AARP's support was they planned to continue making a lot of money from selling Medigap insurance policies to seniors. In what appears to be a pay-off for support, President Obama is greasing the wheels of AARP's money-making machine.
The Daily Caller has learned that the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) rate review rules, which it finalized on Thursday, exempt “Medigap” policy providers, like the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), from oversight when such providers increase payment rates for their supplemental insurance plans.

Insurance providers who aren’t exempt from Obamacare’s rate review rules are required to publicly release and explain some health care payment rate increases.

The AARP is the nation’s biggest seller of Medigap policies, or supplemental healthcare plans that add onto what Medicare won’t cover for seniors. The senior citizens interest group advocated for Obamacare to include an attack on Medigap policies’ biggest competitor, Medicare Advantage.

Palestinian “Activists” Plan to Rush Israel’s Borders Today

Barack Obama seen nodding in approval...
(Ynet) — Pro-Palestinian activists have formed a new Facebook group calling for mass marches on Israel’s borders this coming Friday.

The group — “Third Palestinian Intifada” — urges Arab activists in neighboring countries to storm Israel’s borders in reaction to the recent “Nakba Day” events and ensuing casualties.

Several Facebook groups urge a third mass popular uprising against Israel, and one of them sports a “Friday of response” page, bearing the date May 20. The page, which currently has 100,000 “Like’s”, does not however give any details on how or exactly when these marches should take place.

Is Barack Obama an Anti-Semite?

Is Barack Obama an anti-Semite? The question isn't ridiculous. Based on his recent demand Israel relocate 500,000 Jews and return to the indefensible 1697 border, it is a fair question. Has Barack Obama  associated with any anti-Semites in the past? Oh, yeah. There is Obama's mentor and pastor of 20 years Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Wright fed Barack Obama a weekly dose of anti-Israeli propaganda on the pastor page of  Wright's church bulletin.

Secret Service Monitors FOX News

Do they really think Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity are going to threaten to kill Obama?
(Daily Caller) — A spokesman for the Secret Service said it’s not out of the ordinary for agents to “monitor” Fox News — or any other news organization.

An employee of the Secret Service on Wednesday accidentally tweeted on the agency’s Twitter account a complaint about having to “monitor Fox for a story” and not being able to deal with the network’s “blathering.”
The tweet was promptly removed and the Secret Service offered an apology, blaming it on someone who thought he or she was posting to a personal account.

But why was the law enforcement agency that provides protection to the president and foreign dignitaries monitoring Fox News?

“Here’s the thing,” said Ed Donovan, a spokesman for the Secret Service. “This is the public affairs office. We have employees that watch TV during the day, watch the news stations during the day for stories that affect the Secret Service.”

Goodbye Goodwin

Republicans successfully filibuster radical Obama U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals nominee Goodwin Liu. As proof of how radical Liu is thought to be, the vote wasn't even close.
(Politico) — Senate Republicans staged the first successful filibuster of a judicial nominee since 2005 on Thursday, dealing a blow to the Obama administration on the long-stalled nomination of Goodwin Liu to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The final vote was 52-43, eight votes shy of the 60 needed to overcome the filibuster. Only one Republican joined Democrats in supporting Liu, and only one Democrat voted no to opening debate on the 40-year-old University of California, Berkeley professor’s nomination.

The filibuster will be met with disappointment from both progressives and Asian-American groups that advocated for Liu and hoped to see him seated on the Western court that covers a region of the country with a significant Asian-American population. Liu even received support from some prominent conservative legal figures, including Ken Starr and John Yoo.
