Janeane Garofalo calls tea party attenders racist

Left wing actress Janeane Garofalo said tea parties were about hating a a black man in the White House. I guess the concept of Americans rallying against socialism, bailouts, big government and high taxes escapes her intellect. According to the Washington Times,
Liberal actress and political activist Janeane Garofalo, in all seriousness, said activists who attended tea parties are racists with dysfunctional brains in a recent prime-time television appearance.

"Let's be very honest about what this is about. This is not about bashing Democrats. It's not about taxes. They have no idea what the Boston Tea party was about. They don't know their history at all. It's about hating a black man in the White House," she said on MSNBC's "The Countdown" with Keith Olbermann Thursday evening. "This is racism straight up and is nothing but a bunch of teabagging rednecks. There is no way around that."

Olbermann did not once try to challenge her on those assertions.

The actress went on to describe the brain size of typical "right-winger, Republican or conservative or your average white power activist."

"Their synapses are misfiring. ... It is a neurological problem we are dealing with," she said. This isn't the first time she's offered this analysis, either. Ms. Garofalo said similar things about Alaskan GOP Governor Sarah Palin's brain last February in an interview with an environmental blog.

Garafalo is a poor little rich kid that thinks she has something worthwhile to contribute.

Personally, as I said on my own blog, I find her to be a bore.

She is right..
It is transparent. Totally racist.

My taxes were high, the bailout was on the table, and the economy was bad, before Obama took office..

I live in Collin "publican" County, in Texas...these are the same people who voted for Bush, twice..They don't care about the issues, they are "publicans", and they are "very" racist. I deal with their racist views and attitudes daily..Jeneane knows what she is talking about..

I moved here from Northern California a few years back, and i thought i walked into a time warp, and was sent back to the 50's.

It doesnt matter what Obama does, he will never gain the support of these people, he is black..That is all they see.. it burns them to their very core, to have a black man in the highest office in the land..Let them throw their tea party, at least the white hoods are off, I can respect that, at least they aren't hiding behind sheets anymore.
