President Obama met with House Democrats in January to shore up their votes for Obamacare. House Democrats were concerned there would be a repeat of 1994, when Democrats lost 54 seats to Republicans in a political bloodbath. Obama told House Democrats,
‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me.’
Less than three months later, President Obama is claiming one of his personality traits is humility. Humility?
United States President Barack Obama says he and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd share several personality traits – one of which is humility.
The US president made the comments to the 7.30 Report’s Kerry O’Brien during an interview which will be aired on ABC1 tonight....
“He was quite expansive and quite genuine on what he saw as the commonality and connections between [he and Mr Rudd]. One of which was humility,” O’Brien said.
