Amusing: GOP Rep. introduces bill allowing taxpayers to give flimsy excuses to IRS...
Sounds good to me...
Via Breitbart:

"Taxpayers should be allowed to offer the same flimsy, obviously made-up excuses the Obama Administration uses," Stockman declared, offering legislation that would require the IRS to accept any of the following reasons when we can't meet their demands for documentation:
1. The dog ate my tax receipts
2. Convenient, unexplained, miscellaneous computer malfunction
3. Traded documents for five terrorists
4. Burned for warmth while lost in the Yukon
5. Left on table in Hillary’s Book Room
6. Received water damage in the trunk of Ted Kennedy’s car
7. Forgot in gun case sold to Mexican drug lords
8. Forced to recycle by municipal Green Czar
9. Was short on toilet paper while camping
10. At this point, what difference does it make?

Panel of experts won't agree with Obama's claim temperature is rising faster than expected...
Obama is no scientist or expert in anything but lying...
The President on November 14th 2012 said, ‘The temperature around the globe is increasing faster than was predicted, even ten years ago.’ And then on May 29th last year he also said – quote – ‘We also know that the climate is warming faster than anybody anticipated five or ten years ago.’ close quote
So I would ask each of our former Administrators if any of you agree that that’s an accurate statement on the climate. So if you do, raise your hand.
Paul Ryan to IRS Commissioner: “Nobody believes you.”
Even liberals who want to believe are struggling with this one.
Change: Obama took credit for removing troops from Iraq, but now blames the Iraqis.
You can tell if Obama is lying by checking his mouth for movement.

President Obama surprised a few people during a news conference Thursday by claiming that the 2011 decision to withdraw all U.S. forces from Iraq, a politically popular move on the eve of an election year, was made entirely by his Iraqi counterpart. The implication ran counter to a number of claims that Obama has made in the past, most notably during a tight campaign season two years ago, when he suggested that it was his decision to leave Iraq and end an unpopular war..."With regards to Iraq, you and I agreed, I believe, that there should be a status of forces agreement," Romney told Obama as the two convened on the Lynn University campus in Boca Raton, Fla., that October evening. "That’s not true," Obama interjected. “Oh, you didn't want a status of forces agreement?” Romney asked as an argument ensued. “No,” Obama said. “What I would not have done is left 10,000 troops in Iraq that would tie us down. That certainly would not help us in the Middle East.”

Heartache: Senate Demos have abandoned Joe Biden's presidential run...
All Hillary, all the time...
Via The Politico:
Via The Politico:
This is Joe Biden’s reality after nearly four decades in the Senate, countless fundraisers for his party and endless ego-massaging of his colleagues: Not a single Democratic senator, including the two from his home state, are publicly urging him to run for president. And this is Hillary Clinton’s lot: A majority of current Democratic senators are calling on her to run in 2016, years before the election and months before she’s expected to even make up her mind whether to seek the White House again. That despite the fact that her eight years in the Senate ended with more than a dozen colleagues spurning her presidential campaign in favor of a younger upstart senator from Illinois.Such deep support for a potential candidate this early on, practically unheard of in presidential politics, reflects the deep hold Clinton has over her party and the sense among senators that there are no other viable options to keep the presidency in Democratic hands. But the fact that senators with whom he worked alongside for decades wouldn’t at least stay on the sidelines so long before the election — as Biden is openly flirting with a run in 2016 — is also a personal and political repudiation of the vice president.
New Chicago gun shop ordinance will put up to 99.5 percent of the city off-limits
The courts have been striking down Chicago's overly restrictive gun laws. Hopefully, this one is next.
Via Guns:
Chicago council members who approved the city’s strict new gun shop license program Wednesday call it, “one of the smartest” in the country.
Among the many tenets of the city’s draft would include fees of up to $3,800 per shop, waiting periods on purchases, restrictions on location that would put most of Chicago off-limits, and videotaping sales transactions.
“I don’t think we want these kinds of things in our communities at all,” Ald. Walter Burnett Jr., speaking for many in the council, told DNAinfo Chicago.
Others on the City council’s Committee on Public Safety praised the proposed regulations, with committee chairman Ald. James Balcer calling the package, “one of the smartest, most cutting-edge licensing laws in the country.”
The city had in 2010 practically banned the sale of firearms inside its limits, only to have Federal Judge Edmond E. Chang rule the restrictions unconstitutional this January. Chang then specified that the city have new regulations in place within six months following a request from Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
The 30-page proposal would require bi-yearly fees ranging from $1,100 for a “weapons dealer” who would be cleared to sell stun guns, to $3,800 for firearms dealers. In addition to this, the language of the ordinance would forbid issuing licenses to anyone working from a home, or within 500 feet of a park, school, church, or any building leased to or owned by the city, state, or federal government.
It is believed that this would put some 99.5 percent of the city off-limits to potential gun stores.
