David Letterman's response to flap over Sarah Palin jokes is "pathetic"

Sarah Palin called David Letterman "pathetic" after he joked about Alex Rodriguez getting her daughter pregnant and called Palin's appearance "slutty". From Worldmag:
In his Top Ten highlights of Sarah Palin’s visit to New York, Letterman referred to Palin’s wardrobe dramas, joking that she went to Bloomingdale’s to buy makeup to update her “slutty flight attendant look.” He also joked, referring to her visit to Yankee Stadium, that Alex Rodriguez got Palin’s daughter pregnant. While the joke obliquely refers to Bristol Palin, Jim Treacher said that the joke is especially offensive because Willow — Palin’s 14-year-old daughter — went to the game, not Bristol: “A national talk show host made a joke about the girl being sexually assaulted by one of the players.”

Palin responded on John Ziegler’s show by calling Letterman “pretty pathetic,” saying it was “very sad not to recognize, here again, truth and what this trip is all about. … Just doing some good things here for some good people in New York.”

Now, David Letterman has responded and, yes, his response is "pathetic". From EW.com:
“We were, as we often do, making jokes about people in the news and we made some jokes about Sarah Palin and her daughter [Bristol]... and now they’re upset with me…” Letterman says on tonight's show. "These are not jokes made about her 14-year-old daughter. I would never, never make jokes about raping or having sex of any description with a 14-year-old girl.... Am I guilty of poor taste? Yes. Did I suggest that it was okay for her 14-year-old daughter to be having promiscuous sex? No." Saying he hopes he's "cleared part of this up," Letterman extended an invitation to Palin to come on the show as a guest.

I hope Palin will come on his show. It will show she's not afraid and is probably a bigger person than Letterman.

I've watched Letterman for a long time, (although I missed that episode) and he's had Republicans on before like G.W. Bush and McCain, of course. And they've always had the chance to take a potshot at the host in the Top Ten List or some other skit. I think it would be a good thing.

DAVID LETTERMAN'S HATE, etc. !

Speaking of anti-Semitism, it's Jerry Falwell and other fundy leaders who've gleefully predicted that in the future EVERY nation will be against Israel (an international first?) and that TWO-THIRDS of all Jews will be killed, right?
Wrong! It's the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah who predicted all this in the 13th and 14th chapters of his book! The last prophet, Malachi, explains the reason for this future Holocaust that'll outdo even Hitler's by stating that "Judah hath dealt treacherously" and "the Lord will cut off the man that doeth this" and asks "Why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother?"
Haven't evangelicals generally been the best friends of Israel and Jewish persons? Then please explain the recent filthy, hate-filled, back-stabbing tirades by David Letterman (and Sandra Bernhard) against a leading evangelical named Sarah Palin, and explain why most Jewish leaders have seemingly condoned Palin's continuing "crucifixion"!
While David and Sandra are tragically turning comedy into tragedy, they are also helping to speed up and fulfill the Final Holocaust a la Zechariah and Malachi, thus helping to make the Bible even more believable!
