Sarah Palin: Obama should carry a “big stick instead of a selfie stick”

Sarah Palin still has it...

Via Washington Times:
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Sunday that President Obama should have carried a “big stick instead of a selfie stick” during his visit to her state last week amid recent reports of Chinese and Russian aggression.
“Let’s take his recent trip up here, which was pretty much a tourism jaunt, really,” said Ms. Palin on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “How about if he while he was up here he had as a president carried a big stick instead of a selfie stick? He could start publicly berating these countries that are sticking it to us with the messages that they’re sending.”
Five Chinese warships sailed into U.S. territorial waters in the Bering Sea near Alaska during the president’s visit last week to promote his climate-change agenda, while Russian bombers were intercepted July 4 off the coasts of Alaska and California.

Sarah Palin gets a speeding ticket. TMZ calls her, “Bitch”, “Bad Mom”, “Dumb”

They need to ease up on the Kool-Aid over at TMZ.  The mention of Sarah Palin or George Bush turns liberals into raging idiots.

Via Breitbart:
Wednesday during TMZ’s segment on former Governor Sarah Palin (R-AK) getting a speeding ticket, they thought it would be entertaining television to, without provocation or explanation, have random staffers openly attack the Tea Party firebrand as a “bitch,” “dumb,” and a “horrible mom.”
TMZ opened the segment by reporting on when Palin was given a speeding ticket in her hometown for driving 63 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone, and she said, “I wasn’t speeding I was qualifying.”
But then it quickly turned ugly, when, without justification, the staffers launched into a nasty, random, name-calling attack. One staff member exclaimed out of nowhere, “She’s a bitch.” Another chimed in, saying, “She’s a really bad mom,” while another added, “She’s a horrible mom.”
A third concluded, “She’s not evil. She’s too dumb to be good or evil.”

Sarah Palin doubles-down on impeachment...

Most mainstream GOP and even some conservatives diss the idea of impeaching Obama. The main argument is the Senate would never convict him because it takes a two-thirds majority.  I guess these people would tell citizens of the Ukraine to lay down their arms and surrender if Russia invades. After all, there is no way they could win against Russia. The problem with this argument is cowardice encourages bad behavior. If Russia knew they could take the Ukraine without consequences, they would take it the same way they annexed Crimea. This logic is true for Obama. He will already have an asterisk beside his name in the history books for being the first black president. I suspect he would like to avoid a second asterisk for being the third president to be impeached. Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton were both impeached. Neither were convicted by the Senate. Johnson came within one vote. Obama supporters response to Obama's possible impeachment is, "For what?" The Constitution says presidents can be impeached for "High Crimes and Misdemeanors." Sarah Palin makes the case that that includes other things than ordinary crimes.

Via Fox News:
The next time you hear politicians denounce Barack Obama as a lawless, imperial president with a scandal-riddled administration, ask them what they’re going to do about it. Their gnashing of teeth over Obama’s self-granted omnipotence is repetitive.
Let’s agree with our ninth president, William Henry Harrison, who said there is nothing more corrupting, nothing more destructive than the exercise of unlimited power. We understand the problem. The only way for politicians to fix it is with a little less talk and a lot more action.
The Constitution provides the remedy for a president who commits “high crimes and misdemeanors.” It’s impeachment.
The only thing necessary to transform America into something unrecognizable is for good men to do nothing!
To be clear, “high crimes and misdemeanors” are not necessarily ordinary criminal offenses. Our Framers used the term to signify a dereliction of duty, and the first duty of the president is to enforce our laws and preserve, protect, and defend our Constitution.

Does history support Palin? Bill Clinton was impeached for perjury. He was accused of grand jury perjury, civil suit perjury, obstruction of justice, and abuse of power.

What about Andrew Jackson? He was impeached for refusing to enforce a law passed by Congress! This is one of the main charges impeachment supporters level against Obama! He is a serial offender.
Johnson, a Southern Democrat who became president after Lincoln's assassination, supported a mild policy of Reconstruction after the Civil War. The Radical Republicans in Congress were furious at his leniency toward ex-Confederates and obvious lack of concern for ex-slaves, demonstrated by his veto of civil rights bills and opposition to the Fourteenth Amendment. To protect Radical Republicans in Johnson's administration and diminish the strength of the president, Congress passed the Tenure of Office Act in 1867, which prohibited the president from dismissing office holders without the Senate's approval. A defiant Johnson tested the constitutionality of the Act by attempting to oust Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton. His violation of the Act became the basis for impeachment in 1868. But the Senate was one vote short of the two-thirds majority needed to convict, and Johnson was acquitted May 26, 1868.

Sarah Palin To NRA: Waterboarding Is How We Baptize Terrorists.

INDIANAPOLIS — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fired up a crowd of thousands inside Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday night to kick off the National Rifle Association's "Stand and Fight Rally," saying Americans' constitutional rights as envisioned by the founding fathers are under attack and policies like gun-free zones constitute "stupid on steroids."[...]She said later in her address that if "I were in charge" — a line that drew applause from the crowd — "they would know that waterboarding is how we baptize terrorists."

Obama's IRS is going after Sarah Palin's father...

This use of the IRS for political purposes has to end. Obama should be impeached for not stopping it.

Via PJ Media:
Sarah Palin’s brother, Chuck Heath Jr., posted this note on Facebook on January 11:
Coincidence? You decide.
My father, who worked multiple jobs and faithfully and honestly paid his taxes for fifty years, had never heard a word from the IRS. In 2008, his daughter was tapped to run for vice president of the United States. Since that time, he has been, in his words “horribly harassed” six times by the agency. They’ve tried to dig up something on him but he’s always operated above board.
Government and politics are ugly. Kudos to the few that are trying to clean it up.

Martin Bashir Craps Out At MSNBC

Apparently, wanting someone to defecate in Sarah Palin's mouth was too much for even MSDNC...

Via Mediaite:
Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should “s-h-i-t” in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin‘s (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported “vacation” for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced, in a statement to Mediaite Wednesday afternoon, that MSNBC and Martin Bashir are parting ways.

Interesting: Palin gets praise for her time as Alaska Governor...from Democrats

Change...

Via Anchorage Daily News:
But now the Palin legacy is being burnished, if not a little airbrushed, by a seemingly unlikely source: Democrats. The reason is oil.
Palin was elected governor in 2006 on a pledge to clean house after revelations of oil-industry corruption in the state Legislature, and in 2007 oversaw a sweeping overhaul of policy that included big new taxes on oil profits. But this year Gov. Sean Parnell -- Palin's lieutenant governor, and successor after her resignation in 2009 -- led a drive in the Republican-controlled Legislature to repeal the Palin tax package, arguing that it discouraged new exploration. That is a big issue in Alaska, where oil taxes pay for 90 percent of the state's general fund budget.
But that was not the end of it. Opponents of the new law gathered enough signatures this spring and summer to put the issue on the statewide ballot next year. They want voters to repeal Parnell's new tax plan and replace it with Palin's old one.
And that has stirred up a very strange political cocktail: Democrats leading the repeal effort have every incentive to make the Palin years under her oil taxes look good, while Republicans and many business leaders, in supporting the new system, are pulling in the opposite direction. The Palin era, they say, was a glass half empty at best.

Confirmed: Palin actually helped McCain in 2008

With the media hailing Obama like a Messiah, it would have been hard for anybody to beat Obama in 2008. The weak part of the ticket wasn't Palin. it was McRino. He never took the fight to Obama.

Via Washington Examiner:
It’s been debated for five years, and the conventional wisdom has generally concluded that Sarah Palin, the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, hurt Sen. John McCain’s chances to beat then-Sen. Barack Obama for the presidency with her outsized and controversial personality.
But now a comprehensive new analysis of the so-called “Palin Effect” finds that in the final analysis, the former Alaska governor helped McCain by attracting more voters to the ticket, crushing a mainstream media view.
What’s more, while she attracted wider press attention than most prior veep candidates, her actual impact for a No. 2 was about average.
“Palin had a positive effect on McCain,” according to the new Palin analysis in the authoritative Political Research Quarterly.
Digesting mountains of data, two political science professors from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., said their findings showed that the conventional wisdom that independent voters ran from the McCain-Palin ticket was wrong. They found that independent voters had the same reaction to Palin as Republicans, who largely liked her.
“Palin did not have a negative effect on McCain’s voter share overall, nor did she result in eroded support for McCain among critical swing voters such as independents and moderates,” the duo wrote.

Video: Sarah Palin - "I'm on Team Rand "

Sarah Palin:
“I’m on team Rand. Rand Paul understands. He gets the whole notion of don’t tread on me government. Whereas Chris Christie is for big government and trying to go-along-to-get along in so many respects,”

Obvious: Sarah Palin calls Obama a "Socialist"

Telling it like it is...

Via HuffPo:
“Barack Obama is a socialist,” former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), claimed on Fox News Monday night, speaking about her concerns regarding the a fiscal cliff deal, growing American debt and a president who, she said, could even be leading the nation on a slow march toward communism.
Talking with Sean Hannity, Palin said that the opening offer Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner presented to Republicans last week to avert the fiscal cliff was a dangerous proposition.
“A very scary proposal was recently revealed by Geithner essentially saying, ‘Let the president have free rein on raising the debt ceiling to whatever level he wants it.’ That’s a very scary thought,” she said, pointing to Obama’s supposedly “socialist” views.
“He believes in socialism, in redistributing, in confiscating hard-earned dollars of our small businessmen and women so that they cannot re-invest their dollars and hire more people and grow and expand,” Palin continued. “Instead he believes in these failed socialist policies. And I say that not to personally condemn our president, but I say it because I face reality, and I see what’s going on, and I see the path that we are on and the fact that Barack Obama has not had a budget in the four years that he’s been in office and not been worried about it and continues to spend recklessly other people’s money. And that is a sign of that idea of loving socialism.”
