And the top fast food restaurant in customer satisfaction is...

Chick-fil-A is the winner...

Via Time:
Chick-fil-A may generate a lot of political controversy, but when it comes to customer satisfaction the restaurant can’t be beat. The chain earned a higher satisfaction score than any other fast food restaurant, according to a new report by the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
Overall, customer satisfaction at fast food restaurants declined in 2015, according to report. The report explained the change as a result of customers thinking more about food quality than price as the U.S. moves further away from the recent economic recession. As part because of this trend, the more upscale Chipotle Mexican Grill and Panera Bread followed close behind Chick-fil-A in the rankings.

Stupid: HS Principal bans booster club from selling Chick-fil-A sandwiches

The excuse is gays are so fragile they might be offended. That is incorrect. In my experience, gays are tough as Hell. It's wimpy liberals who are likely to be offended.
VENTURA (CBSLA.com) — A Ventura County high school principal has barred a booster club from selling a popular fast-food sandwich on campus because of the chain’s position on gay marriage.
Ventura High School Principal Val Wyatt told the Ventura County Star that the football booster club could not sell Chick-fil-A sandwiches at Wednesday’s back-to-school night because the restaurant’s beliefs could offend some students and their parents.
“With their political stance on gay rights and because the students of Ventura High School and their parents would be at the event, I didn’t want them on campus,” Wyatt told the newspaper.
Every principal has the discretion to invite community groups or businesses onto their campuses.
“We value inclusivity and diversity on our campus and all of our events and activities are going to adhere to our mission,” Ventura Unified School District Superintendent Trudy Tuttle Arriaga said.

Army master sergeant gets punished...for serving Chick-fil-A sandwiches

Apparently, he is "no longer a team player."

Via Fox News:
An Army master sergeant was punished after he hosted a promotion party and served Chick-fil-A sandwiches in honor of the Defense of Marriage Act.
The unidentified soldier was investigated, reprimanded, threatened with judicial action and given a bad efficiency report, according to the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty.
“They say he is no longer a team player and was not performing up to standards,” Chaplain Alliance Executive Director Ron Crews told Fox News. “This is just one little example of a case of a soldier just wanting to express his views and now he’s been jumped on by the military.”
The soldier’s story was included in a letter to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights documenting concerns about attacks on religious liberty within the Armed Services.

After seriously stepping in it, Missouri Republican Todd Akin is reportedly taking steps to withdraw...(Update-Akin Refuses to do the right thing)

After making comments insulting to rape victims, Missouri Republican Todd Akin is reportedly going to withdraw. You just can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.

Via Buzz Feed:
Missouri Republican Todd Akin has begun moving toward ending his candidacy after his remarks on rape and abortion provoked a firestorm, a top Republican said.

"Akin is taking concrete steps to withdraw by tomorrow at 5:00 p.m.," a senior Republican told BuzzFeed, adding that Akin could still change his mind.

But a Republican close to Akin said his position hasn't changed: He's still in the race.

Tomorrow afternoon is an important deadline: If he files papers to end his candidacy in Jefferson City tomorrow he can end his candidacy unilaterally; after that, he would have to file an application in court.
This morning everyone in America knew this story. Even my wife, who watches almost no news, asked me about it. On the other hand, a LGBT activist allegedly went into a Christian lobbying groups office last Wednesday with a plan to commit mass murder and leave Chick-fil-A bags by the victims. One man was shot. I asked my wife if she had heard that story. She had no idea. Keep in mind the context of the recent mass shootings at the Batman movie and Sikh temple. Apparently, a Republican making a stupid comment, and it was incredibly stupid, is far bigger news than a member of a demographic that supports Democrats attempting mass murder.

Fail: Government funded Amtrak is losing money selling $10 hamburgers...

Perhaps they should let Chick-fil-A take over.

Via The Times:
Amtrak lost more than $800 million on its food and beverage services over the last 10 years, largely because of waste, employee theft and lack of proper oversight, government auditors have found. [...]
Mr. Alves, who issued a report on the problem last year, estimated that theft by Amtrak food service employees could cost the agency $4 million to $7 million annually. According to charts shown by Republican committee staff members during the hearing, Amtrak charges about $2 for a soft drink, but the cost to taxpayers is about $3.40 when labor is included. A $9.50 hamburger on the train costs taxpayers $16, the charts showed. Labor adds nearly 60 percent to food and beverage costs.

Taxpayer-funded Amtrak thinks gays will dig trains...

Oddly, this ad campaign was announced the same week of the Chick-fil-A controversy. Hmm...
WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — Taxpayer-funded Amtrak has released a new ad campaign targeted for gay and lesbian couples.

The “Ride With Pride” program encourages couples to go to gay-friendly destinations, like Martha’s Vineyard, on its website.

“This island paradise is the perfect destination for a gay or lesbian couple looking for a tranquil getaway,” the site states.

After Chick-Fil-A boycott turns into an eat in, leftist goons resort to graffiti...

The left has no class...

Via NBC4:
Vandals at a Chick-Fil-A in Torrance left a message on the restaurant Friday during a week of protests in response to the company president's comments regarding same-sex marriage.

"Tastes Like Hate" and a cow with a paint brush appeared on the Torrance restaurant early Friday as same-sex marriage activists planned a "National Same-Sex Kiss Day" at Chick-fil-A locations nationwide. The kiss-in comes two days after a "Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day," which resulted in what the Georgia-based chain called a "record-setting" day.

Image of the Day: Sarah and Todd Palin Stop By Chick-fil-A

D.C. Mayor calls Chick-fil-A “hate chicken."

How does the left get from opposing gay marriage to hating LGBT's? The hatred is now coming from the left toward anyone who disagrees with them.

Via Washington Post
D.C. Mayor Vincent C. Gray said Friday he would not support an expansion of Chick-fil-A in the District, referring to it as “hate chicken."
“Given my long standing strong support for LGBT rights and marriage equality, I would not support #hatechicken,” Gray wrote.

Chick-fil-A vice president of public relations dies from heart attack

Job stress?

Via TMZ:
A key member of the Chick-fil-A public relations department died of a heart attack this morning ... this in the middle of the biggest PR crisis the fast food chain has ever faced.

Chick-fil-A released a statement saying, "We are saddened to report the news to you that our dear friend Don Perry, vice president of public relations, passed away suddenly this morning."

Rahm Emanuel chickens out on Chick-fil-A ban

No doubt Emanuel Emanuel will still be working hard behind the scenes to violate Chick-fil-A's rights...

Via NBC Chicago:
Emanuel press secretary Tarrah Cooper called Friday to clarify the mayor’s stance on whether a Logan Square Chick-fil-A location would be vetoed because of the company’s views on gay marriage.
“He never said he’d block the restaurant from coming,” Cooper said…
To clarify, Cooper said Emanuel still believes “their values are not Chicago values.” But that doesn’t mean he would block them.
“If they meet all the requirements, they’re welcome to open a restaurant here.”

Boston Mayor Menino Walks Back Threat To Block Chick-fil-A Out Of Boston

Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino wants to use government to punish a company for expressing an opinion. Mayor Menino should read the 1st Amendment to the Constitution.

Via Boston Herald:
Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino repeated today that he doesn’t want Chick-fil-A in Boston, but he backed away from a threat to actively block the fast-food chain from setting up shop in the city.
“I can’t do that. That would be interference to his rights to go there,” Menino said, referring to company president Dan Cathy, who drew the mayor’s wrath by going public with his views against same-sex marriage.
The mayor added: “I make mistakes all the time. That’s a Menino-ism.”
The Herald first reported last week that Menino warned “it will be very difficult” for Chick-fil-A to obtain licenses for a restaurant in Boston.
The Atlanta-based chicken chain has been eyeing a space near the Freedom Trail and across the street from City Hall, among other locations, for its first eatery in Boston.
“I sent (the landlord) a letter, but that’s all. There’s no pressure by me to allow this place to be rented,” he said.
