Media gossip site Gawker claims to have found out who was actually the man who allegedly raped comedienne Lena Dunham while she was a student at Oberlin College. But despite her book’s description of her rapist as the “resident conservative,” the man fingered by Gawker appears to be a registered Democrat.
But Gawker identified another man using Dunham’s original 2012 book proposal, which contained a significantly different description of her alleged rapist. The extra details, such as the fact that he was Jewish and the son of an NPR host, point the finger at another easily identifiable individual. […]
In both the finished book and the 2012 book proposal, Dunham identified her rapist as a Republican. But Gawker noted there was no evidence pointing to him being a Republican. In fact…

“There is at least one discrepancy between the proposal and what we know about [the accused], however. According to public records, [the accused] did not affiliate with either major political party until 2012, when he formally registered as a Democrat. Unlike the character in Dunham’s memoir, he does not appear to have ever been an on-the-book Republican—though it’s certainly possible he identified as one without ever filing the proper paperwork.“

In her just-released memoir, 27 year-old “Girls” star Lena Dunham claims that as a 19 year-old Oberlin College student in Ohio, she was raped by a college Republican. In the first chapter that addresses the encounter, Dunham describes the “ill-fated evening of lovemaking” as awkward and hollow. The most sensational moment comes from the fact that “Barry” wasn’t wearing a condom.
In the next chapter, Dunham backtracks with the claim that she’s an “unreliable narrator” and accuses “Barry” of rape:
[I]n another essay in this book I describe a sexual encounter with a mustachioed campus Republican as the upsetting but educational choice of a girl who was new to sex when, in fact, it didn’t feel like a choice at all.
At the time, Dunham says she was drunk, high on Xanax and cocaine, and therefore in no condition to give her consent. She had no idea she had been raped until she described the encounter to her roommate:
“Barry leads me to the parking lot,” she writes. “I tell him to look away. I pull down my tights to pee, and he jams a few of his fingers inside me, like he’s trying to plug me up. I’m not sure whether I can’t stop it or I don’t want to.”

"Akin is taking concrete steps to withdraw by tomorrow at 5:00 p.m.," a senior Republican told BuzzFeed, adding that Akin could still change his mind.

But a Republican close to Akin said his position hasn't changed: He's still in the race.

Tomorrow afternoon is an important deadline: If he files papers to end his candidacy in Jefferson City tomorrow he can end his candidacy unilaterally; after that, he would have to file an application in court.

This morning everyone in America knew this story. Even my wife, who watches almost no news, asked me about it. On the other hand, a LGBT activist allegedly went into a Christian lobbying groups office last Wednesday with a plan to commit mass murder and leave Chick-fil-A bags by the victims. One man was shot. I asked my wife if she had heard that story. She had no idea. Keep in mind the context of the recent mass shootings at the Batman movie and Sikh temple. Apparently, a Republican making a stupid comment, and it was incredibly stupid, is far bigger news than a member of a demographic that supports Democrats attempting mass murder.

Outrage: Rape Victim Jailed For Calling Badgering Defense Attorney "Bitch"

A Detroit rape victim was ordered held in jail for 3 days after she snapped on the witness stand and told the defense attorney,

"get to the point bitch"

36th District Judge Vanessa Bradley should be put in jail for making that call. She is unfit to serve as a judge.

That nightmare only continued at a Wednesday hearing , when she claims defense attorney Gabi Silver kept badgering her on the stand insinuating that she brought this attack on herself, causing this victim to snap in court.

"I said just get to the point bitch, it slipped out, it was inappropriate... all the bottled anger" says the alleged victim.

Without a warning, she says 36th District Judge Vanessa Bradley held her in contempt and ordered her to spend three days in jail.

After our story aired Wednesday, exposing what happened - the judge seemed to have a change of heart and released her a day early.
