Son of a Boston police captain accused of plotting ISIS terror attack went on hippie "peace walk" in 2012...
Change Islamic style...
BOSTON (AP) — Prosecutors have arrested the son of a Boston police captain in a plot to commit terrorist acts on behalf of the Islamic State group.
Alexander Ciccolo is accused in a criminal complaint unsealed Monday of receiving four guns July 4 from a person cooperating with the Western Massachusetts Joint Terrorism Task Force.
An FBI affidavit says the 23-year-old Adams resident had talked with the cooperating witness in recorded conversations about his plans to commit acts inspired by the Islamic State group, including setting off pressure-cooker bombs at an unidentified university. According to the affidavit, he said the attack would include executions of students broadcast live online.
Before his arrest, agents had observed Ciccolo buying a pressure cooker similar to those used in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.

Nanny State Alert: Boston bans smoking in public parks...
This ban includes "lighted or vaporized" substances. I guess that means e-cigarettes are illegal too.
(AP) Boston has banned smoking in city-run parks, joining a growing list of American cities to do so.
The Boston Parks and Recreation Commission on Monday approved a ban covering the 251 parks, squares, cemeteries and other spaces run by the Parks and Recreation Department, including Boston Common, the Public Garden and Franklin Park. No one spoke in opposition to the ban.
The ban takes effect immediately and applies to tobacco, marijuana and other "lighted or vaporized" substances. Violators face a $250 fine.
The City Council approved the measure last month.

PBS' Gwen Ifill disturbed Boston bombing suspect identified as "a dark-skinned individual."
Would she have been disturbed if he was identified as "pasty white?"
Disturbing that it's OK for TV to ID a Boston bombing suspect only as "a dark-skinned individual."

Texas School: Boston Tea Party Was a Terrorist Act...
Subjecting out kids to liberal moonbat teachers should be considered a terrorist act.
HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – The most historical instance of protesting against taxation without representation is now being taught in Texas schools as a terrorist act.
As recently as January of this year, the Texas Education Service Center Curriculum Collaborative included a lesson plan that depicted the Boston Tea Party, an event that helped ignite the American Revolution, as an act of terrorism. TheBlaze reports that in a lesson promoted on the TESCCC site as recently as January, a world history/social studies class plan depicted the Boston Tea Party as being anything but patriotic, causing many people to become upset with the lack of transparency and review for lessons.
“A local militia, believed to be a terrorist organization, attacked the property of private citizens today at our nation’s busiest port,” wrote the teachers in charge of organizing the curriculum about the Boston Tea Party....
