Firing 103 rounds and gunning down an innocent elderly lady does not appear to be a suspending offense for police...

The police were freaked out searching for cop-killer Christopher Dorner. Dorner was reportedly driving a charcoal Nissan Titan pickup truck. The two unarmed women delivering newspapers were driving a blue Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. Police shot at them 103 times. One was shot in the back. They will not be held accountable in any meaningful way. This is why I do not support the police anymore. They are lawless.

A Commission has now completed its investigation of the officers and found that the officers were not at serious fault in trying to kill two innocent unarmed women and unleashing a wall of lead on a vehicle.
The Commission found that the officers did find that eight officers violated Los Angeles Police Department policy. However, a violation that results in gunning down an innocent elderly lady does not appear to be a firing or even suspending act of misconduct.
Chief Charlie Beck insisted that this shooting was simply the result of “a tragic cascade of circumstances that led to an inaccurate conclusion by the officers.”
Of course, these women were hit by 103 “inaccurate conclusions.” Both could easily have been killed but that would not have changed the result.

Although Mayor Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) has apologized for listing Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev as a victim of gun violence at their Concord, NH rally on June 18, it is now apparent that the “list of names” was pregnant with criminals and cop killers as well.

In fact, the New Hampshire Republican State Committee is pointing out the list also included Christopher Dorner, the former Los Angeles police officer who went on a killing spree before finally dying in a fire after a gun fight with police. Dorner killed two police officers.

Two women shot by out of control cops during Dorner manhunt get $4.2 million settlement...

Good for them. So, what happened to the out of control cops who used two women delivering newspapers for target practice?

A settlement has been reached with two women mistakenly shot by Los Angeles police during the manhunt for fugitive ex-cop Christopher Dorner, Los Angeles City Atty. Carmen Trutanich announced Tuesday.

Details of the deal were not released; a statement from Trutanich's office said they would be made available at a 2 p.m. news conference.

Margie Carranza, 47, and her mother, Emma Hernandez, 71, were delivering newspapers in Torrance on Feb. 7 when LAPD officers fired repeatedly on their blue Toyota Tacoma. Hernandez was shot twice in the back, and Carranza was injured by broken glass, an attorney for the women said.

The city of Riverside is pulling its pledge of $100,000 toward the $1 million reward offered during the manhunt for rogue ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner.

Dorner died in an apparent suicide during a standoff with authorities and cabin burning near Big Bear last month.

Because the Riverside City Council resolution stipulated the money was for information leading to Dorner’s arrest and conviction, the city will withdraw its pledge because neither condition was met, Riverside city spokeswoman Cindie Perry told NBCLA.

Riverside police officer Michael Crain was among four people killed by Dorner.

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif.—A sheriff's spokeswoman says charred human remains have been found in the burned-out cabin where a fugitive former Los Angeles police officer was believed to be. 


San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman Jodi Miller says the remains were found late Tuesday after a shootout that killed one sheriff's deputy and injured another. Authorities believe Christopher Dorner barricaded himself inside the cabin and a fire later ensued.

Investigators will attempt to determine if the remains are Dorner's through forensic tests.
Thousands of officers had been on the hunt for the former Navy reservist since police said he launched a campaign to exact revenge against the Los Angeles Police Department for his firing.

Police had been searching the snow-covered woods near Big Bear Lake, a resort town about 80 miles east of Los Angeles, after Dorner's truck was found late last week.
