Ryan's folly includes $1.6 billion to resettle illegal immigrants

No additional vetting or border enforcement...

Via Free Beacon:
A massive appropriations bill expected to be approved by Congress would provide more than $1.6 billion to resettle illegal immigrants arriving at the U.S. border through 2018.
Congress would award the massive check to the government just as the U.S. is experiencing a surge in arrivals of immigrant children at the southern border. Last week, federal agencies said they were opening two temporary shelters with 1,000 beds in South Texas to cope with the surge. A 400-bed shelter is also to be opened in Southern California.

Rep. Paul Ryan's Speakership bid is faling apart?

Conservatives don't want an open borders guy...

Via Breitbart:
Several Republicans who aren’t as closely associated with outgoing House Speaker Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) as House Ways and Means Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) are considering running for Speaker as Ryan’s nascent campaign is crumbling before it even begins.

The two who have, at this time, the most likely ability to unite the GOP conference and achieve well more than the necessary 218 votes on the House floor are House Energy and Commerce Committee vice chairwoman Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) and former House Chief Deputy Whip Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) . Other Republicans like Reps. Rep. Matt Salmon (R-AZ) 88% , Rep. Ryan Zinke (R-MT) , Rep. Lynn Westmoreland (R-GA) , and even current non-House member former Speaker Newt Gingrich are considering bids. More names than those have been tossed out, too.

Rep: Paul Ryan: "You Can’t Make This Stuff Up"

Young Guns: A New Generation of Conservative Leaders

Republican Rep. Paul Ryan was referring to a Democratic email rallying lobbyists and special interest groups against budget cuts. Rep. Paul Ryan had this response.
“You can’t make this stuff up,” chuckles Rep. Paul Ryan (R., Wis.), the chairman of the House Budget Committee, in an interview with National Review Online. “The spending special interests are coming out of the seams. They are activating K Street to work on their behalf.”
