The changing of the RINO's

Representative Kevin McCarthy of California will replace Eric Cantor as majority leader.
(Reuters) – House of Representatives Republicans on Thursday chose an ally of Speaker John Boehner for the No. 2 job in the chamber and, in a victory for the party’s conservative wing, elevated a Southern lawmaker to a leadership role.
Representative Kevin McCarthy of California, already the third-ranking House Republican, was chosen to replace Eric Cantor as majority leader, Republican aide Riva Litman said.
He will control the House floor and help decide the party’s legislative priorities. McCarthy previously served as party whip, drumming up votes for legislation.
Steve Scalise, a Louisiana lawmaker with backing from Southern Republicans, beat out two other lawmakers on Thursday to replace McCarthy as party whip. Scalise has a solidly conservative record but also has had good ties with leadership, including Boehner.
The party’s conservative wing pushed for one of their own to join the leadership after a little-known professor with Tea Party support defeated Cantor in his Virginia primary. Cantor’s announcement that he would leave the leadership at the end of July prompted a surprise shake-up.

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor draws line in sand for Obamacare funding

The Obamacare Disaster

Starve the Obamacare monstrosity to death.
Washington (CNSNews.com)House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) told CNSNews.com today that “one way or the other” the upcoming continuing resolution necessary to keep the government funded through fiscal 2011 will deny funding to the ObamaCare law.

At his weekly press briefing, CNSNews.com asked Cantor, “On the CR [continuing resolution], when that bill comes to the floor, will there be any funding for the health care reform law in it?”

Cantor said, “I expect to see, one way or the other, the product coming out of the House to speak to that [ObamaCare funding] and to preclude any funding to be used for that.”

Obama supporter arrested for threatening to kill Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.)

Of course, the Huffington Post failed to identify Norman Leboon as an Obama supporter.

The HuffPo reported:
Norman Leboon, the man now charged with threatening to kill Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.) was arrested over the weekend, according to a statement released by the U.S. Attorney in Philadelphia Monday.

Leboon made the threat in a YouTube video in which he leveled a variety of offensive and incendiary statements at Cantor and his family.

“My Congressman Eric Cantor, and you and your cupcake evil wife,”...

The Hill has the scoop on this left-wing extremist.

"We are researching the matter, and any donations made to the DNC or the Obama campaign by Mr. Leboon will be donated to charity," a DNC official said.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings show that Leboon had made two, separate donations to then-Sen. Barack Obama's (D-Ill.) presidential campaign. The two donations, made in June of 2008, total $505. These are the only federal contributions on record for Leboon.
