John Conyers' House is a Detroit Eyesore

John Conyers' wife is in prison. His son appears to be living in his house, but the property is becoming an eyesore. When will the citizens of Detroit wise up and throw this bum out of office?

Obvious: Rep. John Conyers Admits ObamaCare is a “Platform” for Creating Single-Payer System

You already knew this was true.
(CNSNews.com) – Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, told CNSNews.com today that the health-care law that President Barack Obama signed last March is a “platform” for a building single-payer health system in the U.S.

Rep. John Conyers: Democrats’ health care law has nothing to do with individual liberty

Obama Health Law: What It Says and How to Overturn It (Encounter Broadsides)

Rep. Conyers tries to make the analogy that the Federal Government forcing people to buy health insurance is the same as State Governments forcing people to buy health insurance. This argument fails for several reasons. 1) Most states don't require people to buy health insurance. 2)  You can move to another state if you don't like your current state government. Many people do. 3) States operate under different Constitutions than the Federal Government. .
(CNS News)- Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.), the ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, said Wednesday that the individual insurance mandate in the Democrats’ health care law has nothing to do with individual liberty.

“[W]e have been hearing that this is all about individual liberty, the right to be let alone. But is it really?” Conyers asked in his opening statement.

“The liberty interests at stake do not change simply because it is the federal, rather than the state government that is imposing the requirement.

“While we can debate whether Congress has the power to impose this requirement – something I believe we clearly do – we should not scare Americans into believing that how we resolve that question says anything about their individual liberty.”

Demo Rep. John Conyers' Son has a government owned 2010 Cadillac Escalade

Apparently he does because it was broken into. This brings up two questions. Why does Conyers office own a taxpayer funded 2010 Cadillac Escalade and why is Conyers' son driving it? This smells really bad.

DETROIT (WJBK) – The son of Rep. John Conyers, D-Mich., says items were stolen out of the government vehicle he was driving last Wednesday in downtown Detroit, FOX 2’s Simon Shaykhet reports.

John Conyers III, 20, told police two Apple MacBooks, valued at $1,100 apiece, and more than $27,000 worth of concert tickets to the Fillmore were stolen out of a burgundy 2010 Cadillac Escalade registered to the 14th Congressional District.

Demo Rep. John Conyers Finally Finds Something Worth Reading

Democratic Rep. and House Judiciary Committee chairman John Conyers didn't see any purpose in reading the Obamacare bill before democrats passed it. There is something he is interested in taking the time to read. It's Playboy.

Dan Cleary reported:
While November’s election brought a tsunami of change to Michigan policies, some incumbents are untouchable. So untouchable, apparently, that they openly read girlie magazines on their trips to and from Washington. Detroit Congressman John Conyers was caught on camera in a late July flight to DC this summer ogling a Playboy magazine.

The video and pictures – first posted by ex-Detroit News reporter and New York Times Pulitzer Prize winner Charlie LeDuff on his Facebook page – were taken by an anonymous passenger seated in the same row as the 81-year old congressman. Conyers – in his aisle seat – is shown flipping though pages showing two nude gal pals in the August issue of Playboy. And he also apparently reads Hefner’s product for the articles! He appears to linger on an

Senility sets in: Rep. John Conyers calls Tea Party “small and dismissible”

Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) calls the Tea Party “small and dismissible.” He sounds as if he is barley able to string together a sentence in this video shot at the left-wing "One Nation" rally. Apparently, Rep. John Conyers has napped through the rise of the Tea Party movement and fails to recognize a Tsunami headed Democrats way this November.

Recently, Conyers lost his drivers license after his renewal check bounced.
