RINO Alert: Sen. Orrin Hatch praises Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts as a “remarkable” and “tremendous” jurist

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts has politicized the Supreme Court in a failed effort to avoid politicizing the court. That will be his historical legacy.

Via The Hill:
Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) on Thursday praised Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts as a “remarkable” and “tremendous” jurist who wrote a “clever” opinion upholding a key provision of ObamaCare.
“All I can say is that the chief justice is a remarkable judge. He’s a tremendous human being. I have a tremendous confidence in him and I believe in him. I differ with him on this opinion,” Hatch said from the Senate floor. “On the other hand, it is a very clever opinion, and I have to say only a clever judge could have written it as well.”
Roberts authored the 6-3 decision handed down earlier Thursday that upheld federal healthcare insurance subsides under the Affordable Care Act. The ruling is a major victory for the Obama administration

GOP Sen. Orrin Hatch on Obamacare: "It really is an awful piece of crap.”

Sen. Orrin Hatch sure has a way with understatement.
(The Hill)- “Every state has different demographics, every state has different problems,” Hatch said, according to a Utah Statesman report published Monday. “It’s good to allow them to work out their own problems rather than a one-size-fits-all federal government, dumb-ass program. It really is an awful piece of crap.”

Sen. Orrin Hatch: 'There Are All Kinds of Ways We Could Shut Down the Senate, and I Know Them All'

If Democrats use the reconciliation process on Obamacare and VP Joe Biden to overrule the Senate parliamentarian on amendments, he will uses every rule possible to shut down the Senate.

FOX Nation
reported:
During floor consideration of a reconciliation bill, with Biden in the chair, they will seek to bypass Republican amendments, even if the parliamentarian rules our amendments germane,”Hatch says, in an interview with National Review Online. “They want to limit debate to 20 hours, so they will use the vice president to call any amendment dilatory and overrule the parliamentarian. It would be a terrible process, and an arrogant strategy that abuses the rules and the trust of the American people. These people are so left wing, and want power so badly. If they go down that path, and pull this kind of stuff to get their way, it will blow up the Senate.”

Sen. Orrin Hatch Promises Outright War if Democrats Use Reconciliation to Pass Obamacare

Democrats are considering using the budget reconciliation process to pass Obamacare since they have lost their 60 vote super majority. Senator Orrin Hatch is making an ominous prediction if democrats use this 'dirty trick." Hatch said, “It is going to be outright war and it should be..."

SENATUS reported:
Hatch said Thursday that using reconciliation would be “one of the worst grabs for power in the history of the country” that would permanently impact relations between the two parties.

“It is going to be outright war and it should be, because it would be such an abuse of the reconciliation rules,” Hatch said. “If they abuse those rules it is going to lead to even more heated animosities between not just the two parties, but even between individual senators.”
