Flashback to 2008: Candidate and Senator Obama sent an envoy to Iran and urged them to not sign a deal with outgoing Bush admin?

I would call Obama a hypocrite. The left should stay true to form and call him a traitor.
Biden need not go back that far to find a senator who sent advice to a foreign power when similar “sensitive” negotiations were ongoing. Seven years back is far enough.
According to Pajamas Media columnist Michael Ledeen, in 2008, a Democratic senator sent a personal emissary to Tehran encouraging the mullahs not to sign an agreement with the outgoing Bush Administration as negotiations would take on a much friendlier tone following President Bush’s departure from office.
That senator was a presidential candidate at the time. His name was Barack Obama.
Perhaps Biden’s loophole in making his 36-year representation is that the message Senator Obama allegedly sent was not in written form. It was a verbal message delivered to Tehran’s leadership by Ambassador William G. Miller, who assured an enemy who was at war with us that a President Obama would be much more amicable to deal with.
While Biden suggests the GOP letter “undercut” Team Obama’s negotiations with Iran, what impact does he think presidential candidate Obama’s emissary had?

If you like your plan, you can keep your plan update: 200k in Colorado losing their plans...

That never forget the biggest political lie ever!

Via PJ Tatler:
Colorado Sen. Cory Gardner (R) said he’s “utterly appalled” by the Colorado Division of Insurance decision to cancel 190,000 health plans that don’t comply with Obamacare regulations — even though they have the authority to continue the old plans for another year under grandfathering rules announced last year.
Colorado insurance commissioner Marguerite Salazar told 9News that “by delaying it, it doesn’t give us a good pathway into full implementation of the ACA.”
“I feel like we gave people that year, we have a great robust market in terms of health insurance in Colorado,” she said.
But Gardner said that “after all of the glitches, the increased costs and premiums, and the plan cancellations that Coloradans have already endured, the idea that the Division of Insurance would choose to cancel the healthcare plans of hundreds of thousands more people is unconscionable.”
The senator said that last year he urged Gov. John Hickenlooper’s administration “to pursue any legal avenue to allow insurance providers to keep these plans for the foreseeable future.”

Feel Good Story: Kenya mall attack mastermind killed in U.S. drone strike

Good riddance...

Via CBS News:
U.S. officials confirm that Adan Garar, said by U.S. intelligence to be the mastermind of the Westgate Mall attack in Nairobi, Kenya, was killed in a drone strike this week.
CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reports that the strike was carried out Thursday in southern Somalia. Garar was traveling in a car hit by Hellfire missiles from a Predator drone.
At least 67 people were killed in the 2013 attack.
Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was in retaliation for Kenya's sending of troops into Somalia.
A senior Kenyan official, who insisted on anonymity because he wasn't authorized to give the information to the media, told the Associated Press that Garar was also suspected of planning failed attacks on Kenya's coast and in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, last year.

The Russians need to put President Vladimir V. Putin's picture on milk cartons...or vodka bottles...

Russian President Vladimir V. Putin has been missing from public for over a week.
MOSCOW — Where’s Putin?
The question obsessed Moscow and much of Russia on Friday, as speculation mounted as to why President Vladimir V. Putin had not been seen in public for more than a week.
He abruptly canceled a trip to Kazakhstan and postponed a treaty signing with representatives from South Ossetia who were reportedly told not to bother to fly to Moscow. Most unusually, he was absent from an annual meeting of the top officials from the F.S.B., Russia’s domestic intelligence service.
The rumor mill went into overdrive, churning out possible explanations from the simple to the salacious to the sinister. He had been stricken by the particularly devastating strain of flu going around Moscow just now. He sneaked off to Switzerland for the birth of his love child. He had a stroke. The victim of a palace coup, he was imprisoned within the Kremlin. He was dead, aged 62.
Dmitry S. Peskov, the presidential spokesman, treated all the health questions with a certain wry humor initially, coming up with new and inventive ways to say, “He’s fine.”
Yet, the fact that the story proved impossible to quash underscored the uneasy mood gripping the Russian capital for months now, an atmosphere in which speculation about the health of just one man can provoke fears about death and succession.

Congressional Democrats aren't giving up on AR-15 ammo ban...

The Constitution is toilet paper to these libtards...

Via The Hill:
Congressional Democrats are pressuring the Obama administration to move ahead “swiftly” with a proposal that would ban a form of armor-piercing ammunition.
In a draft letter first obtained by The Hill, Democrats are urging the director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to use his “existing authority” to keep “dangerous ammunition out of our communities.”
“We hope that the Bureau will swiftly review comments on the proposed framework and issue a revised proposal that will address the danger posed by handguns that fire 5.56mm and other rifle ammunition,” Democrats write in the letter.
The ATF had sought to prohibit gun companies from manufacturing or selling 5.56 mm projectiles for M855 cartridges, arguing they are a threat to law enforcement officers because they can be used in handguns.
But the proposal generated a firestorm of opposition from Republicans and gun groups, who denounced it as an attack on the Second Amendment that could open the door to sweeping restrictions on ammunition.
With the backlash growing, the ATF backed down earlier this week, shelving the proposal indefinitely to allow time for “further study.”
House Democrats in their letter say they are “very disappointed” that the ATF delayed the rule.

ISIS tries to launch their own social network...

Hackers will likely keep this site down.

Via The Hill
Supporters of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) are launching their own social network after officials at Facebook and Twitter doubled down on deleting jihadist accounts.
The site — 5elafafabook.com — was unavailable Thursday except for a message from its founder announcing a “temporary shut down.”
The post took pains to emphasize that the social network is independent from ISIS, though its values appear to be very similar.
“We are fighting the enemies of Allah’s religion,” the post stated. “We rule the caliphate land with the Quran and we will rule the whole world by Allah’s permission … We love to die as much as you love to live … If we are to die then martyrdom is our path.”
Muslims from across the religious and political spectrum have sought to launch social media networks that cater to their groups. This latest attempt is believed to be an effort by ISIS to create a platform for free communication and recruitment around the world.
Twitter and Facebook have come under significant pressure to crack down on jihadist rhetoric on their networks. Hacking groups such as Anonymous have also made it their goal to take down as many ISIS accounts online as possible.
The 5elafafabook.com site is registered through GoDaddy to a user located in Mosul, Iraq, according to The Wall Street Journal.
