My opinion is that the Muslims who cut off the head of Daniel Pearl didn't have a problem with posting the video of him being beheaded on the internet.
Seems to me that the Muslims displayed those contractors they burned while hanging upside down on that bridge in Fallujah, Iraq, without hesitation.
Seems to me that the Muslims show with pride the vicious attacks they have commited on others.
I think the Country DESERVES to see this picture, and if there is video of the shooting, we should see it also.
I want to see justice handed down. To me it seems that if people see the consequences of their actions, maybe it would deter them from commiting such acts against American citizens.
I for one am PROUD that we didn't give up on finding Osama, and I'm DAMN PROUD of the SEALS who took OBL out.
I could care less if someone is "offended" or "motivated" by the pictures.
I don't think the actions of our enemies should be used as a barometer for the types of actions we should partake in. "Al Qaeda did it" isn't reasonable justification for us to do the same. Likewise, I don't see how suicidal men and women would be disuaded from commiting future acts of terrorism by showing them pictures of their dead leader. If anything, I'd think it would only serve to rile them up.
Oh, and it's easy to say "bring it" when it isn't actually your @$$ on the line. Unlike you, I'm sure our men and women in uniform do not want to motivate our enemies. Motivation is something we should be trying to strip from the terrorists.
