Report: Sudanese woman sentenced to death for apostasy to be freed...

Meriam Ibrahim  should leave the Sudan immediately. Being freed and staying alive are not the same thin in the Sudan.

Via FOX News:
The Sudanese woman sentenced to death earlier this month after refusing to renounce her Christian faith will reportedly be freed in the next few days.
A foreign ministry official told the BBC that Meriam Ibrahim, 27, is guaranteed religious freedom in the country, despite a judge's earlier ruling that she should be hanged for apostasy.
Ibrahim gave birth to a girl early Tuesday at a prison clinic in Omdurman, near Khartoum, one of her attorneys told FoxNews.com by phone.
She also faces 100 lashes for adultery – for being intimate with her husband, Daniel Wani, who fled to the United States as a child to escape the civil war in southern Sudan, but later returned.

Epic Fail: Navy SEALS slam Obama for spiking the 'bin Laden death' football

President Obama has been politicizing and taking credit for the death of Osama bin Laden. Obama has even goe so far as to suggest Mitt Romney wouldn't have made the call. Navy SEALS take issue with that behavior.

Via Daily Mail:
Serving and former US Navy SEALs have slammed President Barack Obama for taking the credit for killing Osama bin Laden and accused him of using Special Forces operators as ‘ammunition’ for his re-election campaign.
The SEALs spoke out to MailOnline after the Obama campaign released an ad entitled ‘One Chance’.
In it President Bill Clinton is featured saying that Mr Obama took ‘the harder and the more honourable path’ in ordering that bin Laden be killed. The words ‘Which path would Mitt Romney have taken?’ are then displayed.
Besides the ad, the White House is marking the first anniversary of the SEAL Team Six raid that killed bin Laden inside his compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan with a series of briefings and an NBC interview in the Situation Room designed to highlight the ‘gutsy call’ made by the President.
Mr Obama used a news conference today to trumpet his personal role and imply that his Republican opponent Mr Romney, who in 2008 expressed reservations about the wisdom of sending troops into Pakistan, would have let bin Laden live.
‘I said that I’d go after bin Laden if we had a clear shot at him, and I did,’ Mr Obama said. ‘If there are others who have said one thing and now suggest they’d do something else, then I’d go ahead and let them explain it.’
Keep on reading…
Former Joint Chiefs of Staff  Adm. Mike Mullen also takes issue with politicizing bin Laden's killing.
(Politico) — Adm. Mike Mullen has told NBC News that he worries “a great deal” that the Osama bin Laden raid could be overly politicized in 2012 campaign season.

The interview, part of NBC News’s special Rock Center episode pegged to the anniversary of bin Laden’s death, was previewed on NBC Nightly News tonight.

Majority of Pakistanis suffering grief over Osama Bin Laden's death

With friends like these, who needs enemies?
Islamabad:  A majority of Pakistanis surveyed in a poll appeared to be aggrieved over the death of Osama bin Laden, with 51 per cent describing their emotions as "grief". However, one-third said they were unconcerned by the incident.

The nation-wide poll was conducted by Gallup Pakistan between May 7 and May10, less than a week after bin Laden was killed in a raid by US special forces in the garrison city of Abbottabad on May 2.
Only 11 per cent of respondents said they were glad or relieved to know about the death of the Al Qaeda leader.

About That White House Photo of Team Obama Watching the Osama Bin Laden Raid

We now know that 30 minutes of the raid was blacked out for some reason. It is probably just as well for the group in this picture. A quick look at the body language of the the people in the picture indicates killing Osama bin Laden wasn't a popular decision with team Obama. It appears 5  people are displaying negative body language by crossing their arms in front of their bodies. The woman in the lower right quadrant has her hand over her mouth as if she is shocked.
(Telegraph)- A photograph released by the White House appeared to show the President and his aides in the situation room watching the action as it unfolded. In fact they had little knowledge of what was happening in the compound.

Mr Panetta said: “Once those teams went into the compound I can tell you that there was a time period of almost 20 or 25 minutes where we really didn’t know just exactly what was going on. And there were some very tense moments as we were waiting for information.

“We had some observation of the approach there, but we did not have direct flow of information as to the actual conduct of the operation itself as they were going through the compound.”

Mr Panetta also revealed that the US Navy Seals made the final decision to kill bin Laden rather than the president.

Religion of Peace Alert: Two Christians Killed in Response to Florida Pastor Koran Burning

The Complete Infidel's Guide to the Koran

In addition to murdering Christians, attacking churches and burning bibles, they are demanding the death of Pastor Jones.
Islamabad (AsiaNews) - Two believers killed, churches attacked, copies of the Bible burned: the Christian community in Pakistan is once again the victim of violence by Islamic fundamentalists, who have targeted places of worship in the country. The extremist violence was triggered by the insane act - repeatedly condemned by Christians in Pakistan and India – of the pastor Wayne Sapp, who last March 20, in Florida burned a Koran under the supervision of the evangelical preacher Terry Jones...

Meanwhile, the weekend demonstrations were repeated against the burning of the Koran wanted by Pastor Terry Jones in different cities of Pakistan - among other Peshawar, Lahore and Islamabad. The demonstrators, who burned his picture and chanted slogans and chants against the United States, called for the death of U.S. preacher. Extremists also threatened reprisals and other targeted attacks against Christians, if the U.S. government fails to take action against Pastor Jones.

Weird News: Man killed at cock fight by rooster

Cockfight

A California man bled to death after being stabbed in the leg by a rooster at a cock fight. The fighting "spur" attached to the rooster's leg severed a major artery.
LAMONT, Calif. -- The tables were turned at a California cockfight after a man was fatally stabbed in the leg by a sharp blade attached to one of the fighting birds, The Bakersfield Californian reported.

Jose Luis Ochoa, 35, was taken to a local hospital shortly after police responded to a reported cockfight last Sunday in Lamont, Calif., a town nine miles south-southeast of Bakersfield.

An autopsy revealed Wednesday that Ochoa's death was accidental and caused by an injury to his right calf.

"I have never seen this type of incident," Sgt. Martin King, a 24-year veteran, told the paper. But he noted that it was not surprising that Ochoa died since one of his major arteries had likely been severed. "People have been known to bleed out from those injuries if medical attention is not obtained immediately."

Rep. Cynthia Lummis claims people planning to die before 12/31/10 to avoid Obama's estate taxes

Hmm...

CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- U.S. Rep. Cynthia Lummis said Friday that some of her Wyoming constituents are so worried about the reinstatement of federal estate taxes that they plan to discontinue dialysis and other life-extending medical treatments so they can die before Dec. 31.

Speaking at a news conference she called to discuss the creation of new jobs in Wyoming, Lummis declined to name any of the people who have made the comments about preferring death to a tax increase. The Republican is running for a second term as the state's lone voice in the U.S. House.

Lummis said many ranchers and farmers in the state would rather pass along their businesses -- "their life's work" -- to their children and grandchildren than see the federal government take a large chunk.
