President Obama: “In three years we’ve begun to see what change looks like.”


Change looks like unemployment stuck at over 8% until 2014, an exploding national deficit and gas prices that are now over $5 a gallon in some parts of the country.
BURLINGTON — President Barack Obama rallied friendly Democrats in Vermont Friday, the first presidential visit to the Green Mountain State since 1995, the longest of any state in the country. Obama, who received a raucous welcome at a campaign rally on the University of Vermont campus, said he was happy to “reset the clock” on presidential visits to the state. [...]
“It wasn’t a vision where everybody is left to fend for themselves. It wasn’t a vision where the rules are made just for the powerful. It was a vision of an America where everybody who works hard has a chance to get ahead. Everybody. That’s the vision that we shared. That’s the change that we believed in,” he said. “In three years we’ve begun to see what change looks like.”
