This is a group of extremist, Muslim-hating, so-called Christians in southern California who are using their religion to stir up hatred against Islam. They’re basing this on their Christian beliefs. They are, I believe, every bit as guilty as al Qaeda members who, think about it, who use the Koran and abuse their religion to stir up hatred against the United States. These so-called Christians, anybody who uses religion to stir up hate, is not a true believer. And certainly Christians who do so are not true Christians.

Bill Press was referring to President Obama taking credit for President Bush's success in Iraq.

Latest example: on Al Sharpton’s MSNBC show this evening, Bill Press ascribed Republican reluctance to give President Obama credit on Iraq to the fact that “the Republican party is like some of the banks down South. They refuse to give a black man credit.”

Bill Press Ridicules Southern Senator (audio/video)

The ridicule is complete with banjo music. Then, Press suggests we "take citizenship away from people born in Alabama." What prompted Press to act in such a moronic manner? He is upset that Senator Sessions said the people who wrote the 14 amendment had no idea how it would be abused by foreign citizens coming to America in the jet age to make anchor babies. As part of the ridicule, Press said of Thomas Jefferson, "God darn if Thomas Jefferson had only know'd that we would have been different." Press also used the same example for Madison. Shamefully, Bill Press doesn't seem to know both Jefferson and Madison had been dead for decades when the 14th amendment was passed. This amendment was aimed at preventing states from denying citizenship to blacks in the aftermath of the Civil War. The exact number of anchor babies born each year in the U.S. isn't known, but the number may be as high as 500,000. There is even a "birth tourism" industry.

Lefty Bill Press Compares Upcoming Tea Party at Lincoln Memorial to Al Qaeda Rally at Ground Zero

The National Park Service has given Glenn Beck permission to hold a Tea Party rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on August 28, 2010. Some Beck and Tea Party haters are angry. Aren't they always? But I digress. Forty years ago, on August 28th, Martin Luther King gave his "I have a dream speech" on the steps of the Washington Monument. The timing has caused some on the left to flip-out. Bill Press, Huffington Post blogger and liberal radio talker, is comparing giving permission for the Tea Party rally to giving al Qaeda permission to hold a rally on 9/11 at Ground Zero. The left can not come to grips with the reality a large number of Americans oppose President Obama for reasons other than his race. Here is some of what Bill Press posted on his website.

In a slap at both President Lincoln and Dr. King, not to mention the American people, the National Park Service has given Glenn Beck permission to hold a Tea Party rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on August 28 – 47 years to the day after Martin Luther King gave his magnificent “I Have A Dream” speech.

If you ask me, that’s like granting al Qaeda permission to hold a rally on September 11 – at Ground Zero.

What the hell were those bureaucrats at the Park Service thinking?...

Glenn Beck’s August 28 Tea Party rally at the Lincoln Memorial is an abomination. It should be cancelled – immediately.
