Reporter asks Hickenlooper campaign for tax returns...gets threatened with arrest.

Other Colorado media got copies of the returns weeks ago.

Via Watchdog.org:
DENVER — The campaign spokesman for Gov. John Hickenlooper threatened this reporter with arrest and called police when the reporter attempted to get the candidate’s tax returns, which were distributed to other Colorado media weeks ago.
Campaign spokesman Eddie Stern led me out of an office building that houses a number of different offices, including the Hickenlooper campaign, at 2525 16th St. in Denver and asked me to leave.
“Do you mind if we step outside,” Stern said, leading me out of the office complex to the sidewalk and parking lot.
“This is a private office, and I have to ask you to leave at this time,” he said. “Will you not record me?”
“No I will not, not record you,” I responded.
“It’s a private office I’m being recorded without my consent,” he said.
“We’re standing in a public parking lot, a public sidewalk, probably paid for by taxpayers. So anyway are you going to give me the tax returns or not?” I asked.
Stern then led me into the lobby of the building.

Obama will speak in Denver’s Cheesman Park today. Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper won't be there...

Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper and congressional candidate Andrew Romanoff don't want to be seen with Obama.

Via Breitbart:
President Barack Obama will speak in Denver’s Cheesman Park on July 9, and Senator Mark Udall (D-CO), Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper (D), and congressional candidate Andrew Romanoff (D-CO), will not be there.
All three will be on the ballot this November and all three say “prior commitments” will prevent them from attending the event with Obama.
According to The Denver Post, Udall, Hickenlooper, and Romanoff are all three “in the fight of their political careers.”
For example, Udall’s pro-amnesty position is receiving more and more press with each passing day. And Hickenlooper’s false statements on gun control, his fumbling of questions on gun control from Weld County Sheriff John Cooke, and his admission that he would sign gun control again if given the chance, sparked a firestorm in the media in early June.

Demo Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper gets "giddy' in the presence of Obama

Well, at least he didn't get a tingle down his leg.
(Politico)- Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper gushed over his meeting with President Obama — he was part of a group of Democratic state leaders who convened at the White House on Friday.

He told POLITICO’s Mike Allen that he gets “a little giddy” in the president’s presence, “just because he is such a good communicator and he has such a clear vision. It gets misinterpreted so frequently, but he is very focused on, you know, ‘How do we make those hard decisions?’”
