Demo Rep. Dingell: Obamacare “Will Eventually Control the People”

Rep. Dingell admits what the majority of Americans were afraid of:

Let me remind you this [Americans allegedly dying because of lack of universal health care] has been going on for years. We are bringing it to a halt. The harsh fact of the matter is when you’re going to pass legislation that will cover 300 [million] American people in different ways it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.

Democrat admits Cap and Trade is "a tax and a great big one" (video)

Rep. Dingell(D-Michigan) grilled Al Gore on Cap and Trade. He called Cap and Trade a "a tax and a great big one." He seems to be advocating a direct tax on carbon. Rep. Dingell gets kudos for honesty, even if he is wrong on this issue. Al Gore obfuscates as usual.
