Shocking Stupidity: Demo Rep. Pete Stark Thinks Solyndra Makes Cars, Doesn’t Know He Represents Part Of Silicon Valley

Chronicle: What specifically are you going to do in the next term to work with the tech sector?

Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA): I wish I had big enough expense allowance to get one of those new “S’s” that Solyndra’s going to make down there, the electric car. My 10 year old is after me. He no longer wants a Porsche. He wants dad to have an “S” sedan. They sound wild. I guess they run $60,000–$90,000.”

Meet Rangel's Replacement- Rep. Pete Stark (Update: Stark Bypassed)

Update: Stark is too lunatic for even House Democrats. FOX News is reporting he will be bypassed and Rep. Sander Levin will be named chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

Admonished congressman and accused tax cheat Charles Rangel has temporarily stepped aside form his powerful post as House Ways and Means Chairman. Now that Rangel is out, Nancy Pelosi has taken the opportunity to fill the post with a noncontroversial lunatic Representative. Rangel's replacement is Rep. Pete Starks (D-Calif.) Starks hails from the shipyard and factory side of San Francisco Bay known as the East Bay. If you were hoping fro someone noncontroversial, forget about it. Starks could be considered a stark raving mad left-wing lunatic. On the House floor on October 18, 2007, Stark made the following remarks:

“Republicans sure don't care about finding $200 billion to fight the illegal war in Iraq. Where are you going to get that money? Are you going to tell us lies like you're telling us today? Is that how you're going to fund the war? You don't have money to fund the war or children. But you're going to spend it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President's amusement.”

Starks told an elderly constituent at a HC Town Hall last fall:
