Horowitz blows apart Democratic talking points on FBI | SUPERcuts! #726
Driving a nail through the heart of Trump/Russia and more lies the Democrats and Media told than can be easily counted.

Was the Trump-Russia conspiracy theory launched by John Brennan and the CIA?
Stefan Halper has been named by the media as the informant spy who was meeting with Trump campaign advisors in in July of 2016. Halper's first meeting with Carter Page was reportedly in early July 2016. This is before the FBI claims they had information a drunken Papadopoulos claimed to Australian Ambassador Alexander Downer he knew who had Hillary’s emails. The FBI has claimed this conversation was what launched the counterintelligence investigation into the Trump campaign. Let's assume the FBI is being technically factual about the July 31, 2016 start date of their investigation. If Halper wasn't working for the FBI at the time, who was paying him?
The FBI would be unlikely to have had enough criminal cases relating to people in Great Britain, where Halper was located, to spend that kind of money. The likely answer is Hapler was doing work for the CIA. That would mean the initial contact may have been a CIA operation launched by John Brennan. The CIA is strictly prohibited from spying on Americans except under certain circumstances and it requires senior approval from several people.
Under the rules, there would have had to been evidence of involvement in espionage. What was this evidence? Remember thisinforming spying started before the FBI had information about the drunken Papadopoulos bar conversation with the Australian ambassador that the FBI claims caused them to launch their investigation. At that time, all they had was the very early part of the Steele Dossier. Steele reportedly first met with an FBI agent in London on July 5, 2016. Then, shortly afterwards, Halper first met with Carter Page.
So, either the FBI is lying about when they started their investigation, and why, or they handed off the initial investigation to the CIA because they didn't have enough to launch an investigation on their own. Either way, the Steele Dossier seems to be the real reason the investigation got launched. If the CIA was involved, it would have required the approval of CIA Director John Brennan, DNI James Clapper and Attorney General Loretta Lynch or, alternately, John Brennan went rogue. This likely goes to the highest levels of the Obama White House, perhaps even Obama himself.
As a side note, what's up with the leaking of Halper's name and involvement by the deep state? They are certainly trying to get the initial spin on this spying as something innocuous since it was going to come out eventually. However, I think the main spin is to portray Halper as an FBI informant and hide the CIA involvement because that opens a huge new can of worms.
Note: Edited to correct information about Papadopoulos bar conversation.
Federal records show that Stefan K. Halper has been paid $928,800 by the Federal Government since 2012 on four separate "research projects"— Jacob Wohl (@JacobAWohl) March 26, 2018

Germany and France move to supporting Russia in Syria...
You can only draw so many fake red lines before everyone realizes you are full of sh*t.
Via Veterans Today:
Via Veterans Today:
Germany is surprisingly quitting the anti-Putin Alliance created by the United States: Germany now officially welcomes Moscow’s readiness to engage with Syria and launches an initiative to end the war with the Russians and the French.
Thus, the stream of refugees is to be stopped. Germany put thousands of soldiers on standby.
A spokesman of the Foreign Ministry also said Germany would welcome a greater engagement of Russia in the fight against the IS.
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier even announced, with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and the French colleague Laurent Fabius, a push to start to end the civil war in Syria. Lavrov and Fabius are expected in Berlin on Saturday.

Jews flee Russia...
If Jews are smart, they will flee the EU too...
Via RFERL:
Via RFERL:
Just a year ago, Russian journalist Vladimir Yakovlev was one of Moscow’s most influential media figures.
Today, he lives a quiet life in Tel Aviv and has swapped his Russian passport for an Israeli one.
Yakovlev, the founder of the respected Kommersant publishing house and the Snob magazine, belongs to a new wave of disillusioned Russian Jews deserting their country for the relative stability of Israel.
“The big problem with Russia, and the main reason why I left, is the fact that our value system was destroyed,” he says. “Life in Russia has turned into Russian roulette. Every morning you turn the roulette wheel, you never know what is going to happen to you.”
Spooked by Russia’s actions in Ukraine and by the increasingly stringent punishments for anyone deemed critical of the Kremlin, Russians of Jewish descent have been fleeing in droves over the past 18 months.

Vladimir Putin' aide to West: "Tanks don't need visas"
Scary...
One of Vladimir Putin's closest aides has issued a chilling warning to the West: "Tanks don't need visas".
Deputy premier Dmitry Rogozin - seen by some as a future Kremlin president - claimed the West is now scared of Moscow's military muscle.
His outspoken words come as the West remains at loggerheads with Russia over Putin's seizure of Crimea, and alleged military strongarm tactics in eastern Ukraine.
Vowing to exploit the vast mineral riches of the Arctic, Rogozin claimed that America and Euorpe "are afraid of Russia".
The West is "afraid of the fact that we have started looking around, at our enormous territory", which, he argued, reached far north of existing frontiers in the Arctic.
In overall charge of Russia's space and defence industries, he told a TV show that Russia would develop "our huge EurAsia", exploiting vast mineral wealth under the Arctic ice.

Scary: Russia will have robo soldiers by 2020?
It is unclear how much exoskeletons would improve combat effectiveness, but mobility and the weight they could back would be greatly improved.
Via Fiscal Times:
Via Fiscal Times:
It may not be sharks with frickin’ laser beams attached to their heads, but for a leader bent on expanding his global sphere of influence, an army of soldiers equipped with mind-controlled robotic exoskeletons may be the next best thing. According to Russian media, that’s just what President Vladimir Putin’s army has in the pipeline.
On Wednesday, the headline on the government-run Sputnik News website was, “Lock and Load: Russian Hybrid Robo-Soldiers Could Be Just Five Years Away.” Russia Today, the equally servile outlet aimed at English speakers led with “Iron Man mass production? Russian army may get combat exoskeletons by 2020.” Even the more independent Moscow Times trumpeted, Russian Army May Have Superhuman Mind-Controlled Exoskeletons in 5 Years.
None of this, of course, means that a Russian army of Terminator-like super-soldiers is around the corner. But that wasn’t stopping speculation.
“The Russian Army is set to receive mind-controlled exoskeletons,” Sputnik reported. “The wearable robots will be controlled by brain waves and will increase the strength and endurance of the serviceman wearing it by several times.”
Russian soldiers equipped with the new gear, according to Sputnik, would be able to carry more than 600 pounds of gear. Their endurance, it added, would also be greatly increased.

Another Obama administration red line bites the dust...
Russia must have control of Hillary Clinton's reset button now...
Via Free Beacon:
Via Free Beacon:
Russia’s announcement on Monday that it will proceed with the sale of advanced missile systems to Iran crosses a so-called “red line” established by the Obama administration in 2010, according to comments by senior administration officials.
Following years of dissent from the United States, Russia announced on Monday that it would proceed with the sale of the advanced S-300 air defense missile system to Iran, which has been vying to purchase the hardware for years.
The announcement sparked criticism from the Obama administration, which has been pressuring Iran since at least 2010 to withhold the sale.
Russia’s previous ban on selling Tehran the powerful defense system was hailed as a coup by the Obama administration and promoted by it as an example of President Obama’s ability to rein in Russian intransigence on the military front. […]
Russia’s decision to arm Tehran with the S-300 system erodes a long-promoted narrative by the Obama administration about its success in preventing Russian proliferation.
One senior Obama administration official speaking in 2010 described the S-300 sale as a “red line” for the United States that “couldn’t be crossed,” according to Foreign Policy.

Russian paper takes scissors to 50,000 newspapers over story admitting Russian soldier was injured in Ukraine...
Old school...
Via RFE:
Via RFE:
Journalists at a Siberian newspaper say they spent three days using scissors to cut an article about a Russian soldier who was wounded fighting alongside pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine out of 50,000 copies of the publication.
Tank crewman Dorzhi Batonmukuyev’s accounts of fighting in eastern Ukraine have added to what Kyiv and NATO say are incontrovertible evidence of direct Russian military support for the rebels in a conflict with government forces that has killed more than 6,000 people since April 2014.
Russia denies it has sent troops or weapons into Ukraine.
The chief editor of Novaya Buryatia (New Buryatia), Timur Dugarzhapov, told RFE/RL on April 7 that staffers in recent days cut an article about Batonmukuyev out of the newspaper’s entire April 3 print run by hand and deleted it from the website.

Wounded Bear Update: Putin Cancels New Year Holidays for Government Officials
The Russian economy is in crisis because of falling oil prices. Fracking for the win.
Via NZ Herald:
Via NZ Herald:
Russia’s economy will shrink by around 4 per cent next year as a result of falling oil prices and ongoing financial turmoil, its finance minister has warned. Anton Siluanov said lower revenues would force the Government to increase its budget deficit and raid reserves to make up the shortfall.
His warnings came as President Vladimir Putin scrapped New Year holidays for Government officials because of the unfolding economic crisis.
“If incomes are lower and the main spending is fully financed, then we’ll have to use reserves and increase the deficit,” said Siluanov.
He said if oil prices stayed around US$60 a barrel the economy would contract 4 per cent and the budget deficit would be “considerably higher” next year.
“One year with a deficit isn’t so scary, the most important thing is to prepare future budgets,” he said. It came as Russia’s central bank said authorities had quadrupled the amount they would pump into the Trust Bank in the country’s second-largest bank bail-out.

Russia hikes interest rates from 10.5 percent to 17 percent...

Russia took its biggest step yet to shore up the ruble and defuse the currency crisis threatening its stricken economy.
In a surprise announcement just before 1 a.m. in Moscow, the Russian central bank said it would raise its key interest rate to 17 percent from 10.5 percent, effective today. The move was the largest single increase since 1998, when Russian rates soared past 100 percent and the government defaulted on debt.
The ruble lost 2.5 percent to 66.0985 against the dollar as of 12:53 p.m., reversing an early gain prompted by the news. Keep on reading...

Amusing: John Kerry tells Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, “Just ignore Obama’s statements.”
Everyone should ignore Obama's comments. He is the biggest liar ever.
Via NY Observer:
Via NY Observer:
Though it went entirely unnoticed in the Western press, all major Russian news outlets – RIA Novosti, Sputnik, RT, and others – were only too happy to report on what US Secretary of State John Kerry said last week to the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in private: “Just ignore Obama’s statements.”
According to Mr. Lavrov, John Kerry advised him not to pay too much attention to the US President’s harsh rhetoric directed toward his state. As recently as September, during his speech to the 69th UN General Assembly in New York, Mr. Obama puzzled and shocked Mr. Lavrov by placing “Russian aggression in Europe” in second place among the world’s threats, behind only the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, resigning to third place the “brutality of terrorists in Syria and Iraq.” “Aggressive Russia” again was included in Mr. Obama’s world top-danger list during November’s G20 Summit in Australia.
According to a translation commissioned by the Observer, Mr. Kerry advised Mr. Lavrov to “just ignore Obama’s statements.” Google translator phrases the nuance slightly differently: “Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says US Secretary of State John Kerry called on him to ‘pay no mind’ to a statement by President Obama.” But the take-home message is clearly the same.

While we are discussing the election, Russia is preparing for war in Europe...
1938 flashback?
KIEV/MOSCOW (Reuters) - Ukraine's military accused Russia on Friday of sending a column of 32 tanks and truckloads of troops into the country's east to support pro-Russian separatists fighting government forces.Thursday's cross-border incursion, if confirmed, is a significant escalation of a conflict that has killed more than 4,000 people since the separatists rose up in mid-April and would call into question Russia's commitment to a two-month-old ceasefire deal. The truce has looked particularly fragile this week, with each side accusing the other of violations after separatist elections last Sunday condemned as illegitimate by the West."Supplies of military equipment and enemy fighters from the Russian Federation are continuing," military spokesman Andriy Lysenko told a briefing in Kiev, describing a column that included 16 big artillery guns and 30 trucks carrying troops and ammunition as well as 32 tanks.

Russian reset update: Putin moving tactical nuclear weapons into Crimea...
Hillary Clinton still thinks the Russian reset was a success...
Via WFB:
Via WFB:
Russia is moving tactical nuclear weapons systems into recently-annexed Crimea while the Obama administration is backing informal talks aimed at cutting U.S. tactical nuclear deployments in Europe.
Three senior House Republican leaders wrote to President Obama two weeks ago warning that Moscow will deploy nuclear missiles and bombers armed with long-range air launched cruise missiles into occupied Ukrainian territory.
“Locating nuclear weapons on the sovereign territory of another state without its permission is a devious and cynical action,” states the letter signed by House Armed Services Committee Chairman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon (R., Calif.) and two subcommittee chairmen.

Russia discovers huge new oilfield in Arctic...
You can be sure they won't let environmental concerns keep them from developing it.
Via Bloomberg:
Via Bloomberg:
Russia, viewed by the Obama administration as hostile to U.S. interests, has discovered what may prove to be a vast pool of oil in one of the world’s most remote places with the help of America’s largest energy company.
Russia’s state-run OAO Rosneft said a well drilled in the Kara Sea region of the Arctic Ocean with Exxon Mobil Corp. struck oil, showing the region has the potential to become one of the world’s most important crude-producing areas.
The announcement was made by Igor Sechin, Rosneft’s chief executive officer, who spent two days sailing on a Russian research ship to the drilling rig where the find was unveiled today. The well found about 1 billion barrels of oil and similar geology nearby means the surrounding area may hold more than the U.S. part of the Gulf or Mexico, he said.
“It exceeded our expectations,” Sechin said in an interview. This discovery is of “exceptional significance in showing the presence of hydrocarbons in the Arctic.”

Russia invades Ukraine, EU dithers...
Russia is pouring thousands of men and heavy weapons into Ukraine to prop up the rebels. You would think tough new sanctions would be imposed at a minimum. That hasn't happened. The truth is the EU lacks the spine to impose tough sanction on Russia because it would hurt their economies almost as much as Russia. Obama could impose tough sanction if he wanted too. It would hurt the US economy much because we don't do that much trade with Russia. He is not doing it because he doesn't want to make his EU buddies look bad.
Via FOX News:
Via FOX News:
European Union leaders stopped short of imposing new economic sanctions on Russia in response to the latest developments in Ukraine early Sunday, instead tasking the organization's executive body to "urgently" prepare tougher economic sanctions that could be adopted within a week after Ukraine's president warned of a possible "full-scale war" in eastern Europe.
The 28 leaders of E.U. member countries also issued a statement calling on Russia to "immediately withdraw all its military assets and forces from Ukraine."
In recent days, a new advance by Moscow-backed separatist rebels has resulted in the seizure of the coastal town of Novoazovsk, stoking fears that the larger port of Mariupol would be the next target.
The offensive appears to have succeeded in relieving some of the pressure on the rebel-held cities of Donetsk and Luhansk, which had been surrounded by government troops in recent weeks. Ukraine military spokesman Col. Andriy Lysenko said Saturday that troops were abandoning the town of of Ilovaysk, about 15 miles east of Donetsk, where its forces had been surrounded by rebels for days.

Putin to West: "It's best not to mess with us."
Playing the nuclear card...
LAKE SELIGER Russia (Reuters) - President Vladimir Putin said on Friday Russia's armed forces, backed by its nuclear arsenal, were ready to meet any aggression, declaring at a pro-Kremlin youth camp that foreign states should understand: "It's best not to mess with us."
Putin told the assembly, on the banks of a lake near Moscow, the Russian takeover of Crimea in March was essential to save a largely Russian-speaking population from Ukrainian government violence. He said continued fighting in eastern Ukraine, where pro-Russian separatists launched an uprising in April, was the result of a refusal by Kiev to negotiate.Ukraine, and Western governments, accuse Russia of sending troops and armor to back the separatists in a conflict that has already killed over 2,000 people. Russia denies the charge."Russia is far from being involved in any large-scale conflicts," he said at the camp on the banks of Lake Seliger."We don't want that and don't plan on it. But naturally, we should always be ready to repel any aggression towards Russia.

On August 7, Barack Obama blew off possibility of a Russian invasion of Ukraine...
On August 7, 2014, Barack Obama said of a Possible Russian invasion of Ukraine, "we're not there yet." Are we there yet now, Mr. Obama?
(CNSNews.com) - The massing of Russian troops along the Ukraine border may signal an imminent invasion, but "we're not there yet," President Obama said on Wednesday. And until we're there, "the best thing we can do for Ukraine is to try to get back on a political track," he told reporters at a pre-vacation news conference.Obama has the most clueless foreign policy team in my lifetime.
A reporter asked Obama if the signs of an imminent Russian invasion would make him "reconsider" lethal military aid for Ukraine.
"Well, keep in mind that the Russian army is a lot bigger than the Ukrainian army," Obama responded.
