Obvious: Obama admits American People "Not Better Off" Than They were Four Years Ago

The graphic posted below this excerpt details the disaster President Obama has been for Americans.
(ABC News) — Calling himself an “underdog,” President Obama today said the faltering economy is a drag on his presidency and seriously impairing his chances at winning again in 2012.
“Absolutely,” he said to a question by ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos about whether the odds were against him come November 2012, given the economy. “I’m used to being the underdog. But at the end of the day people are going to ask — who’s got a vision?
The American people, he conceded, are “not better off” than they were four years ago.
“The unemployment rate is way too high,” he said of the 9 percent jobless rate, the highest in half a century.
Obama said his American Jobs Act will put construction workers, teachers and veterans to work and give “more consumers more confidence.”

Actuaries for Medicare and Medicaid: 14 million will lose employer-based health care coverage

Government actuaries for Medicare and Medicaid have released a bombshell report confirming almost everything Republicans said about the downside of passing Obamacre health care reform. 14 million Americans will lose employer-based health care coverage. The health care cost curve will be bent up, not down, $389 billion 10 years. 18 million Americans will be forced into Medicaid and 15% of all Medicare providing doctors will become unprofitable as a result of Obamacare's payment reductions. A separate report this week from the CBO found 4 million Americans will pay $1000 in penalties annually. Obamacare is a disaster of biblical proportions to the American health care system.

Dems Fearing Disaster In Massachusetts Senate Race

Internal democratic polling has the race too close to call, but momentum is with Brown.
I wrote a column last week in which I dismissed the chances of Republican Scott Brown actually winning next Tuesday’s Senate special election in Massachusetts. The race would be close, I figured — 53-47 for Coakley, or something like that — but the state’s blue tint would be just enough to save the Democrats.

I’d now like to qualify that prediction. Coakley’s internal poll last night, I’ve been told, showed her barely ahead...

Pundits are moving this race to the 'toss up' category.
Democratic desperation and other compelling evidence strongly suggest that Democrats may well lose the late Senator Edward Kennedy’s Senate seat in Tuesday’s special election. Because of this, we are moving our rating of the race from Narrow Advantage for the Incumbent Party to Toss-Up.

Republican Scott Brown is excited.

The Red river in North Dakota is set to crest at 43 feet Sunday

The Red river in North Dakota is set to crest at 43 feet Sunday. This is three feet above the old record set 112 years ago. Residents in Fargo and other towns are battling bitter cold while manning sandbag lines. Many residents have been forced to evacuate. In his weekly radio address, President Obama spoke of the disaster.
"We will do what must be done to help," the president said. He repeatedly praised volunteers stockpiling sandbags and building levees, saying "their service isn't just inspirational—it's integral to our response."

Volunteers are pouring into the area and doing a great job. President Obama and his administration are not doing anything of significance yet.
