471,000 likely illegals got Obamacare subsidies in 2015...

Rep. Joe Wilson was right after all and this doesn't include the so called dreamers.

Illegal immigrants and individuals with unclear legal status wrongly benefited from up to $750 million in ObamaCare subsidies and the government is struggling to recoup the money, according to a new Senate report obtained by Fox News.
The report, produced by Republicans on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, examined Affordable Care Act tax credits meant to defray the cost of insurance premiums. It found that as of June 2015, “the Administration awarded approximately $750 million in tax credits on behalf of individuals who were later determined to be ineligible because they failed to verify their citizenship, status as a national, or legal presence.”
The review found the credits went to more than 500,000 people – who are illegal immigrants or whose legal status was unclear due to insufficient records.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services confirmed to FoxNews.com on Monday that 471,000 customers with 2015 coverage failed to produce proper documentation on their citizenship or immigration status on time – but stressed that this does not necessarily mean they’re ineligible. 

Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (H. R. 4872 ) also required territories to establish exchanges to get funds.

The Supreme Court will rule this spring on the King v. Burwell claim the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) only offers premium subsidies “through an Exchange established by the State," as plainly stated in the law. The term through an "Exchange established by the State" is written in two places in the ACA.

Democrats claim this was just poor use of language due to the rush they were in to pass Obamacare, but the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010 (H. R. 4872 ) which amended Obamacare specifically states territories only get funds if they establish an exchanges.

One mistake in language might be believable, but not three.

Obamacare chief architect "Baghdad Bob" Jonathan Gruber loses all credibility...

Gruber is claiming he misspoke in the 2012 video where he claimed denying subsidies to states that don't set up their own exchanges was a feature of Obamacare, not a typo.  A second audio of him saying essentially the same thing at a different time has emerged. Gruber is now the Baghdad Bob of Obamacare...

Gruber told The New Republic [after the first video clip emerged] that he had made a mistake.
“I was speaking off-the-cuff. It was just a mistake. People make mistakes. Congress made a mistake drafting the law and I made a mistake talking about it,” Gruber told The New Republic’s Jonathan Cohn. “But there was never any intention to literally withhold money, to withhold tax credits, from the states that didn’t take that step. That’s clear in the intent of the law and if you talk to anybody who worked on the law. My subsequent statement was just a speak-o—you know, like a typo.”
A second recording has surfaced showing Gruber making similar statements about subsidies not being available on federally run exchanges. Asked over email whether those remarks were a mistake, too, Gruber wrote back, “same answer.”

Of course, being an Obamacare supporter causes people to lose touch with the truth. Here is Jonathan Gruber on MSNBC this week claiming the state exchange only subsidy was a typo or something. Can you say, "no credibility?"

Wonderful: Latinos with green cards urged to sign up for Obamacare and subsidies...

Immigrants who have green cards are required to sign up for Obaamcare. They also qualify for the taxpayer funded subsidies and/or Medicaid if they meet the low income requirements. Now, you can understand Obama's pivot to immigration reform. 

HOUSTON  – At a Get Covered America forum in Houston on Saturday, Latinos who have permanent resident status, also known as green cards, were instructed in Spanish on how to apply for U.S. citizenship and were encouraged to enroll in the Affordable Care Act.
The two-hour “Neighborhood Centers Citizenship and Immigration Forum” attracted more than 100 people, all of whom appeared Latino.
Hosted at a community center in a low-income area of The Heights neighborhood, the forum was billed on the Get Covered America website as “outreach to people in the community who are seeking citizenship status and would like information about the benefits of the new health reform law.”

Liar-in-Chief: Obama claims Obamacare subsidies are for American citizens...

Actually,  Obamacare will give taxpayer-funded subsidies to foreign students and to millions of guest workers.

President Barack Obama told Americans Friday that federal aid is reserved for citizens, even though his deputies have drafted complex regulations to give taxpayer-funded Obamacare subsidies to foreign students and to millions of guest workers.
He made the misleading claim during a televised roundtable at the second stop of his two-day, two-state tour promoting more aid to students.
“Obviously, when it come to federal grants, loans, support, subsidies, that we provide, those are for our citizens,” Obama told a student questioner from the friendly audience of college professors, administrators and students at the Binghamton University in New York.

Rasmussen: Only 29% support Obama's $10,000 Volt subsidy

29% is about the percent of left-wing environ-whackos in this country.

President Obama in his latest budget has proposed $10,000 subsidies to encourage the purchase of electric cars with his goal of having one million of the vehicles on the road by 2015. But voters by a two-to-one margin oppose taxpayer-funded subsidies for this purpose.

Just 29% of Likely U.S. Voters favor $10,000 government subsidies to encourage the purchase of electric cars, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Fifty-eight percent (58%) are opposed to such subsidies. Thirteen percent (13%) are undecided.

The people who do get the $10,000 subsidy would be wise to increase their fire insurance.

Obama wants to prop up Volt sales by taping $10,000 to the hood

GM only sold a total of 603 Volts in January.

The White House intends to boost government subsidies for wealthy buyers of the Chevy Volt and other new-technology vehicles — to $10,000 per buyer.

That mammoth subsidy would cost taxpayers $100 million each year if it is approved by Congress, presuming only 10,000 new-technology autos are sold each year.

But the administration wants to get 1 million new-tech autos on the road by 2015. The subsidy cost of that goal could reach $10 billion.

The planned giveaway will likely prompt populist protests from GOP legislators, but it will likely also will be welcomed by auto-industry workers in the critical swing state of Michigan.

The new subsidy level represents a 33 percent jump from the current $7,500 government payout for each Volt buyer, even though the Volt’s buyers are already among the wealthiest Americans. It will be offered to buyers of any new-technology autos, including battery-powered autos and cars powered by natural gas, said a White House official.

The liberal health care reform advocacy group, Families USA, commissioned a study of how many Americans will be eligible for subsidies under Obamacare. The study found 28.6 million Americans will be eligible in 2014. The CBO had estimated the number to be only 7 million. The cost difference is $91 billion a year. If this is accurate, Obamacare will cause the deficit to rise as early as 2015.

This estimate is dramatically higher (578%) than the cost of these subsidies forecast by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) prior to the bill’s enactment into law.

Beginning in 2014, almost 29 million middle-income Americans will be eligible for new tax credits to help them afford private health insurance premiums. The historic tax cut in the health reform law, which is estimated to reduce family income taxes by more than $110 billion in 2014 alone, will be provided through tax credits to offset a significant portion of private insurance premium costs.

President Obama claims to be working to create 'green jobs.' The following story is a prime example of what happens when the government tries to take control of industry. Obama administration 'green job' subsidies have destroyed 320 'historic' green jobs in Maryland. How can that be? Tax incentives and credits for solar panels have created a glut in the market and cut prices in half. Before the subsidies, 30 year old solar panel manufacturer, BP Solar, was profitable and in the midst of a $97 million expansion to create more jobs. Since the market has been manipulated, they have been forced to close and the factory has been demolished.
