FOX News is the most trusted name in news by a huge margin...

FOX News wins the trust poll hands down. it's not even close. MSNBC and NBC are at the bottom.
NBC News and sister cable network MSNBC rank at the bottom of media outlets Americans trust most for news, with Fox News leading the way, according to a new poll from the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling.
In its fifth trust poll, 35 percent said they trusted Fox news more than any other outlet, followed by PBS at 14 percent, ABC at 11 percent, CNN at 10 percent, CBS at 9 percent, 6 percent for MSNBC and Comedy Central, and just 3 percent for NBC.
The pollster said Fox won because Republicans are devoted to it. “It leads the way because of its continuing near total support among Republicans as the place to go for news- 69 percent of Republicans say it's their most trusted source with nothing else polling above 7 percent,” said PPP.

Confirmed: Trust in Government at Record Low

Nobody on any side of the aisle trusts Obama anymore.
(Fox News) — As leaders in Washington try to reach agreement on a budget deal, a record majority of American voters say they distrust the federal government.

Only 33 percent of voters say yes, they generally trust the government, a record low according to a Fox News poll released Wednesday. The previous low was last year’s 35 percent (June 2010). The level of trust has dropped a total of 21 percentage points from a post-9/11 high of 54 percent trust in June 2002.
A majority of voters — 62 percent — do not trust the government. That’s up from 60 percent last year, and up significantly from 36 percent in 2002.

This sentiment of distrust is widely felt, as the poll found younger voters, older voters, as well as high and low income voters alike — all about equally likely to express distrust in Uncle Sam.

House Democrats Forced to Trust Senate Democrats if They Want to Pass Obamacare

One of the main problems House democrats have with passing the Senate health care bill is they would have to trust the Senate to pass the changes they are demanding under the reconciliation process. Frankly speaking, they don't trust Senate Democrats to get the job done. Republicans have many tricks up their sleeves and the Senate leadership doesn't want the changes the House Democrats are demanding anyway. The workaround plan was to pass a reconciliation bill at the same time or conjoined with the Senate bill and have President Obama sign it all into law at the same time. The Senate Parliamentarian has nixed that idea. He has ruled President Obama must sign the Senate version into law before reconciliation can be used for changes. This means House Democrats will have to have total trust in President Obama, Harry Reid and Senate democrats. Hmm...

The Hill reported:
The Senate parliamentarian has ruled that President Barack Obama must sign the healthcare reform bill before Democrats can use special budget rules...

House lawmakers, who are distrustful of their Senate counterparts, have demanded that both measures pass Congress at the same time. Some House members worry that if they passed the Senate healthcare bill, senators would not approve the sidecar measure with the changes at a later date.

Democrats acknowledged the parliamentarian’s ruling was a setback ...
