President Obama's poll numbers have been plummeting. Democrats now think they know why this is. It's not the economy, weak-kneed response to terror or attempted nationalization of our health care system. It's the pollster, stupid. Democrats are blaming Rasmussen.
Democrats are turning their fire on Scott Rasmussen, the prolific independent pollster whose surveys on elections, President Obama’s popularity and a host of other issues are surfacing in the media with increasing frequency.
The pointed attacks reflect a hardening conventional wisdom among prominent liberal bloggers and many Democrats that Rasmussen Reports polls are, at best, the result of a flawed polling model and, at worst, designed to undermine Democratic politicians and the party’s national agenda. …
According to this study, Rasmussen was the most accurate pollster of the 2008 presidential race.

So why the all-of-a-sudden reliance on polls? Willful self delusion? Prostate massage?
There is but one poll that matters and it occurs in 2012. At which time 53% of the American Populace will vote for Obama. Boom. 4 more years.
Although using ACORN Obama will win a landslide with 57% of the vote.
