Arnold Schwarzenegger messes with the wrong family

True Lies
The night before he left office, Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger commuted the sentence of violent offender Esteban Nunez, the son of former state Assembly speaker Fabian Nunez. Esteban Nunez was involved in stabbings that led to the death of 22-year-old Luis Santos on the San Diego State University campus in 2008. The perpetrator is the son of a Schwarzenegger ally.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) The parents of a murdered college student say former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger “messed with the wrong family” in issuing an 11th-hour clemency for the son of a political ally.
Fred and Kathy Santos filed a lawsuit Thursday in Sacramento County Superior Court asking the court to restore a 16-year sentence for Esteban Nunez, the son of former state Assembly speaker Fabian Nunez.
Schwarzenegger lowered the sentence to seven years the night before he left office and did not contact the family or the San Diego County District Attorney’s office beforehand.

Arnold the "Climanator"

Pumping Iron (25th Anniversary Special Edition)
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger told reporters today that he’d like an Obama administration job dealing with energy or the environment. Geez. He would probably be good a "pumping" the global warming scam.

The Ticket reported:
In an interview with editors at the Los Angeles Times, the outgoing California governor said he was in “no rush” to find a new job when his term ends next month. But asked specifically whether he’d consider a post working for President Obama, “he said yes and began to riff on his credentials,” according to the Times’ David Lauter.
Schwarzenegger, who counts legislation combating global warming as one of his signature achievements in office, suggested he might be interested in a post dealing with energy or the environment.

In California, 60 percent of the legislation that was passes into law is sponsored and written by lobbyists

After massive budget cuts, California's state deficit is still almost $20 billion. The situation is so bad, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has ordered State Controller John Chiang to reduce state worker pay to minimum wage. How did California get in this horrible condition? It appears legislators aren't working for the people of California. They are working for private lobbyists. A Mercury News analysis found that in 2007-08, the most recent data available, 60 percent of the legislation that was passed into law was sponsored and mostly written by lobbyists for special interest groups and private interests.

Mercury News has the story:

ABC News reported:
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was dismissive of the Tea Party movement in a “This Week” exclusive interview with Terry Moran. "The Tea Party is not going to go anywhere,” Schwarzenegger told Moran. “I think the Tea Party is all about just an expression of anger and dissatisfaction.”

Being a RINO Fails To Pay Off For Arnold

First, democrats lied to and double-crossed Arnold Schwarzenegger about Obamacare. Now, Arnold needs money from a federal bailout to keep California running. Team Obama's response seems to be "drop dead."

But today, David Axelrod was quoted as saying that he recognizes California’s problems, but can’t solve them all from Washington. To recall a famous line from the Seventies: Drop dead!

Schwarzenegger Reaps What He Sows. Claims Democrats Lied to Him About Obamacare.

On October 6, 2009, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger broke with most Republicans and threw his support behind the Democrats health care reform.
California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger issued a statement today in support of health care reform, making him the latest Republican to endorse the reform efforts currently underway.

Now, he is opposed to the current bills and claims Democrats lied to him. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is reaping what he sowed by supporting the Democrats health care reform. The latest bill will raise California's already sky high deficit by another $3 or more billion per year.

“When asked for my support, I was assured that federal legislation would not increase costs to California or include new unfunded mandates,” Schwarzenegger wrote. “Unfortunately, under nearly every scenario we can predict, the federal health care reform legislation being debated would cost California’s General Fund an additional $3 billion to $4 billion annually.”

Sorry Arnold, but Pelosi and Reid don't care.

Schwarzenegger proposes 15% flat tax for California

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger would like to see a flat tax proposal from commission now studying an overhaul of the state’s tax system. He suggested a number of 15%. The flat tax idea is interesting, but if California needs 15% of their residents incomes to pay their bills, there needs to be some serious budget cutting first.
From the Los Angeles Times:
Could the flat tax come to California?

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said today that he would like to see such “radical” proposals come out of a commission now studying an overhaul of the state’s tax system. The governor told the editorial board of the Sacramento Bee that he hoped the commission would not be afraid to propose something like “a 15% straight tax.”

“That’s the kind of radical, daring kind of a proposal that I want to see on the table so we can look at it and say, ‘Oh, let’s study this, maybe that is the way to go,’ ” Schwarzenegger said during the discussion, which was webcast.

The current system, based on highly unstable income tax revenue that fluctuates with the economy, “doesn’t work,” Schwarzenegger said.

Advocates of a flat tax, which applies a single tax rate to all income, say it increases compliance with the tax codes because it is so simple and easy to understand. But opponents dislike that it taxes the wealthy at the same rates as the poor.

Steve Forbes and Jerry Brown both pushed for it during their presidential campaigns.

RINO Arnold alert

RINO Arnold Schwarzenegger want us to join the Obama team. He is frothing at the mouth for Obama because Nancy Pelosi , Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein packed lots of goodies in the "Spendulas" bill for cash starved California. Instead of cutting waste from California's budget, Arnold is focusing on smooching Obama's butt for cash. This should just about "terminate" what little relationship he has left with the GOP.

Schwarzenegger says he feels strongly that Obama needs team players right now. He says governors, Congress, the White House—everyone has to play together during these tough times, rather than playing politics and making attacks. (excerpt)read more at Breitbart.com
