While a guest on a local Chicago radio show, Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) VP Jesse Sharkey was questioned over his recent participation in the Midwest Marxism Conference and refused to answer why he was there and what relationship the Chicago Teachers Union has with the conference and sponsoring organization, the International Socialists Organization. Sharkey, who was documented by Breitbart News attending the Marxist conference at Northwestern University last month, appeared caught off-guard and struggled to respond to the question.

WLS radio’s Bruce Wolf and Dan Proft had Sharkey on their show to discuss the ongoing school closing battle between the CTU and the Chicago Public Schools. Sharkey had been discussing the Chicago Teachers Union’s network of coalitions that supported the recent teachers strike, when Proft asked him to address the union’s relationship with “revolutionary movements.”

Obama College Acquaintance Remembers Him as a Beardless Marxist-Leninist

Most of President Obama's college acquaintances have refused too speak about him in any detail. This is especially true of Obama's Occidental college days. There is one exception. John Drew was the founder of the Democratic Student Socialist Alliance at Occidental. He has outgrown his Socialist-Marxist past and is a Conservative now. He is wiling to share his personal memories of Obama, but the MSM has ignored him. Could it be because he remembers Obama as a self-described Marxist-Lenninist?

Drew was founder of the Democratic Student Socialist Alliance at Occidental - basically, the Marxist club, as he describes it in the interview. He got to know young Obama fairly well, and notes that Obama described himself at the time as a Marxist-Lenninist, and anticipated a revolution in the United States.

Delaware Democrat Chris Coons once described himself as a "bearded Marxist."

The choice to voters in Delaware is very clear this November. They can choose Conservative Christine O'Donnell or a man so progressive he once described himself as a "bearded Marxist" in a college paper.

The Politico reported:

An article Democrat Chris Coons wrote for his college newspaper may not go over so well in corporation-friendly Delaware, where he already faces an uphill battle for Vice President Joe Biden’s old Senate seat.

The title? “Chris Coons: The Making of a Bearded Marxist.”...

“My friends now joke that something about Kenya, maybe the strange diet, or the tropical sun, changed my personality; Africa to them seems a catalytic converter that takes in clean-shaven, clear-thinking Americans and sends back bearded Marxists,” Coons wrote...
