Karma: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei orders Revolutionary Guards to steal election from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won his election due to vote rigging by the Revolutionary Guards and the volunteer Basij militia.
(Telegraph) — Iran’s Supreme Leader has called on the Revolutionary Guards to ensure that his supporters emerge triumphant in this week’s parliamentary elections, according to opposition sources.

At a meeting called last week by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, the leaders of the Revolutionary Guards and the volunteer Basij militia were urged to use the same tactics employed during the controversial 2009 presidential election contest.

On that occasion widespread vote-rigging led to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad being elected to serve a second four year term, a result that produced nationwide anti-government protests.
Mr Khamenei has since fallen out with Mr Ahmadinejad in a bitter dispute over the future role of the presidency in Iranian politics.

As a consequence Mr Khamenei is now urging the Revolutionary Guards to ensure his Conservative Front wins the majority of seats in Friday’s parliamentary seats at the expense of Mr Ahmadinejad’s supporters.

Iran Preparing for war?

Recently, Iran has had mysterious explosions at their secret weapons bases. External pressure is mounting on them because their nuclear weapons program. Instead of maintaining a low profile, they seem to be preparing for war. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad must think he is the Mahdi.
(Telegraph) — Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have been put on a war footing amid increasing signs that the West is taking direct action to cripple Iran’s nuclear programme.
An order from Gen Mohammed Ali Jaafari, the commander of the guards, raised the operational readiness status of the country’s forces, initiating preparations for potential external strikes and covert attacks.
Western intelligence officials said the Islamic Republic had initiated plans to disperse long-range missiles, high explosives, artillery and guards units to key defensive positions.
The order was given in response to the mounting international pressure over Iran’s nuclear programme. Preparation for a confrontation has gathered pace following last month’s report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna that produced evidence that Iran was actively working to produce nuclear weapons.
The Iranian leadership fears the country is being subjected to a carefully co-ordinated attack by Western intelligence and security agencies to destroy key elements of its nuclear infrastructure.
Recent explosions have added to the growing sense of paranoia within Iran, with the regime fearing it will be the target of a surprise military strike by Israel or the US.

Senior commander in charge of Iran's missile development program explodes

Mossad seen nodding in approval.
(SMH)- AN EXPLOSION at a Revolutionary Guard base in Iran killed a senior commander in charge of the country's missile development program.

Brigadier General Hassan Moghaddam was said to be ''responsible for industrial research aimed at ensuring self-sufficiency of the Revolutionary Guards' armaments'', a coded way of confirming reports that he was responsible for its missile inventory.

Iranian authorities claimed the explosion was caused by an accident which happened as ammunition was being moved, but the high-profile status of its main victim will add to speculation that it was an act of sabotage aimed at the country's nuclear weapons program.

US condemns suicide attack on Iranian Revolutionary Guards (not a joke)

Over at American Thinker, they warned readers this story wasn't satire from The Onion.
The US has condemned a suicide attack on Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

From Politico via American Thinker:
The U.S. has condemned a suicide attack that killed five Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps members today.

Five commanders of Iran's Revolutionary Guards were killed in suicide attacks in Iran's southeastern Sistan-Baluchistan province bordering Pakistan, according to reports.

The Baluch group Jundullah claimed responsibility for the attack, that killed some 30 people.

Americans should remember it took several days for President Obama to strongly denounce the violence against Iranian protesters after the last election.
