March 30, 2015 The Justice Department announced Monday it is charging two federal agents with using bitcoin to launder money while the pair investigated Silk Road, a now-defunct website where criminals relied on the digital currency to conduct illicit business.
The investigators being charged are Carl Mark Force IV, who worked with the Drug Enforcement Administration, and Shaun Bridges, a former Secret Service agent. Force is being charged with wire fraud, stealing government property, and money-laundering; Bridges is accused of of wire fraud and money-laundering.
Force and Bridges are described in a criminal complaint as abusing their positions as federal agents to "engage in a scheme to defraud a variety of third parties, the public, and the government, all for their own financial enrichment."
Force, according to the Justice Department's investigation, was an undercover agent who communicated online with Ross Ulbricht, the founder of Silk Road and a target of a separate investigation. But while on the job, Force developed a number of separate online identities in order to engage in "complex bitcoin transactions to steal from the government and the targets of the investigation," the complaint alleges.
Bridges is charged with diverting more than $800,000 in digital currency to a personal account—funds he acquired as a result of the Silk Road investigation.

Liberal Heartache: Democrat of the Year stripped of title for stealing from disabled elderly woman
What a complete douchebag...
Via Daily Caller:
Via Daily Caller:
Jefferson County, Colo. Democrats have revoked 66-year-old Estelle Carson’s 2012 “Democrat of the Year” award, following her conviction on Thursday for stealing from a 71-year-old woman who suffers from both partial blindness and cerebral palsy.
Carson was found guilty of felony identity theft and felony theft from an at-risk person for stealing checks from the woman to pay for cable, cellphone and Internet bills.
The elderly victim, who is confined to a wheelchair, has a fixed income of $596 per month.
The Jefferson County Democratic Party announced in late 2011 that it planned to honor Carson at a gala in January 2012 for her Democratic activism and efforts. Three days before the Jan. 8 dinner, critics warned the Democratic Party officials of an ongoing criminal investigation into Carson’s activities.

Karma: Ayatollah Ali Khamenei orders Revolutionary Guards to steal election from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad won his election due to vote rigging by the Revolutionary Guards and the volunteer Basij militia.
(Telegraph) — Iran’s Supreme Leader has called on the Revolutionary Guards to ensure that his supporters emerge triumphant in this week’s parliamentary elections, according to opposition sources.
At a meeting called last week by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, the leaders of the Revolutionary Guards and the volunteer Basij militia were urged to use the same tactics employed during the controversial 2009 presidential election contest.
On that occasion widespread vote-rigging led to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad being elected to serve a second four year term, a result that produced nationwide anti-government protests.
Mr Khamenei has since fallen out with Mr Ahmadinejad in a bitter dispute over the future role of the presidency in Iranian politics.
As a consequence Mr Khamenei is now urging the Revolutionary Guards to ensure his Conservative Front wins the majority of seats in Friday’s parliamentary seats at the expense of Mr Ahmadinejad’s supporters.

Demorcats Plan to Force Welfare Recipients to Register to Vote?
Now that ACORN's ability to register illegal immigrants and other fake voters has been damaged by scandals, democrats need a new plan to steal elections. According to this report and video, they have one. Democrats plan to force welfare recipients and others who receive government benefits to be automatically registered to vote.
Democrat Senators Charles Schumer and Barney Frank are poised to introduce a bill this month supporting federal mandates on voter registration that would override most state laws. The Universal Voter Registration legislation would require all citizens enrolled in any state government programs to automatically be registered to vote, regardless of their wishes. Thus, welfare recipients, those receiving unemployment benefits or possibly everyone who even possesses a drivers license would be registered to vote... alongside convicted felons and illegal immigrants who receive those same services.
Wall Street Journal columnist John Fund predicts the Democrats will try to sneak this stealth legislation into law at breakneck speed to avoid public outrage. Fund speaks about Universal Voter Registration in chilling detail:

Did ACORN Help Franken Steal His Senate Seat?

Many people think Al Franken stole his Senate seat. Franken won by the razor thin margin of 312 votes out of about 3 million cast. ACORN claims to have registered 43,000 new voters in Minnesota. With ACORN's record, it is hard to say how many of those are legitimate. Many of these "newly registered voters" may have voted illegally. Minnesota's laws on proof of voter eligibility are notoriously loose.
From the Minnesota Star-Tribune:
But ACORN does have a special place in its heart for at least one prominent Minnesota politician. Last year, it showered praise on Al Franken, endorsing his run for the U.S. Senate. Franken returned the esteem: "I'm thrilled and honored to receive this endorsement," he gushed in a press release. He added that he was "more motivated than ever to work with ACORN."Hat tip Gateway Pundit.

Ousted Honduran Leader Zelaya had Plans to Steal Election Allowing Him to Remain in Power
![]() |
According to Spanish reporters, Honduras' President Manuel Zelaya already had the results of the upcoming Presidential referendum on his computer. Not surprisingly, the results were very favorable for him. Zelaya is an ally of Hugo Chavez. Perhaps, Chavez has loaned his dirty trick playbook to Zelaya. In spite of Zelaya's close ties to Hugo Chavez and accusations of voter fraud, President Obama has called for Zelaya to be returned to power.
Babalu reported:
A Catalan newspaper is reporting that Honduran authorities have seized computers found in the Presidential Palace belonging to deposed president Mel Zelaya. Taking a page right out of the leftist dictator's handbook, these computers, according to the news report, contained the official and certified results of the illegal constitutional referendum Zelaya wanted to conduct that never took place. The results of this fraudulent vote was tilted heavily in Zelaya's favor, ensuring he could go ahead and illegally change the constitution so he could remain in power for as long as he wanted to. ACORN, I'm sure, is taking notes.
This is the man that the OAS, the UN, and the Obama State Department want the Honduran people to reinstall as their leader.

WSJ Practically Accuses Franken of Stealing Election

The Wall Street Journal explains how Al Franken stole the election in the Minnesota Senator's race. We knew this, but it is surprising to see the WSJ actually make the case. Half the residents of Minnesota should be ashamed for sending this joke to Washington.
From WSJ:
The Minnesota Supreme Court yesterday declared Democrat Al Franken the winner of last year's disputed Senate race, and Republican incumbent Norm Coleman's gracious concession at least spares the state any further legal combat. The unfortunate lesson is that you don't need to win the vote on Election Day as long as your lawyers are creative enough to have enough new or disqualified ballots counted after the fact.
Mr. Franken trailed Mr. Coleman by 725 votes after the initial count on election night, and 215 after the first canvass. The Democrat's strategy from the start was to manipulate the recount in a way that would discover votes that could add to his total. The Franken legal team swarmed the recount, aggressively demanding that votes that had been disqualified be added to his count, while others be denied for Mr. Coleman.
But the team's real goldmine were absentee ballots, thousands of which the Franken team claimed had been mistakenly rejected. While Mr. Coleman's lawyers demanded a uniform standard for how counties should re-evaluate these rejected ballots, the Franken team ginned up an additional 1,350 absentees from Franken-leaning counties. By the time this treasure hunt ended, Mr. Franken was 312 votes up, and Mr. Coleman was left to file legal briefs.
What Mr. Franken understood was that courts would later be loathe to overrule decisions made by the canvassing board, however arbitrary those decisions were. He was right. The three-judge panel overseeing the Coleman legal challenge, and the Supreme Court that reviewed the panel's findings, in essence found that Mr. Coleman hadn't demonstrated a willful or malicious attempt on behalf of officials to deny him the election. And so they refused to reopen what had become a forbidding tangle of irregularities. Mr. Coleman didn't lose the election. He lost the fight to stop the state canvassing board from changing the vote-counting rules after the fact. (accent is mine)
