President Barack Obama heads to Saudi Arabia to bow down to new king...

Continuing the "on his knees" American foreign policy.
(CNN)U.S. President Barack Obama will travel to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday in order to meet the newly appointed monarch, King Salman, and pay his respects to the family of the late King Abdullah, the White House said Saturday.
Vice President Joe Biden was originally set to have led a delegation to Saudi Arabia on Obama's behalf.
However, the schedule for the President's departure from India has been adjusted to allow Obama to stop in Riyadh himself on his way home, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said.

How Low Can Obama Bow?

Pretty low judging from this picture of President Obama bowing to Japanese Emperor Akihito. This is the kind of bow an inferior would give to his superior as a show of respect.

Let us never forget how low President Obama bowed to Saudi King Abdullah.

White House is denying that the President bowed to King Abdullah

The White House must think Americans are stupid. They are denying that President Obama bowed to Saudi King Abdullah. Apparently, Arabs thought Obama was bowing. Here is the story from Politico.com

The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets.

"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The Washington Times called the alleged bow a "shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate" and said it violated centuries of American tradition of not deferring to royalty. The Weekly Standard, meanwhile, noted that American protocol apparently rules out bowing, or at least it reportedly did on the occasion of a Clinton "near-bow" to the emperor of Japan.

Interestingly, a columnist in the Saudi-backed Arabic paper Asharq Alawsat also took the gesture as a bow and appreciated the move.
