Team Obama told us unemployment would not go over 8% if Congress passed the stimulus. We know know that was a lie. This graph via American Thinker shows unemployment will remain higher that Team Obama claimed it would ever go, with the Stimulus, until almost 2013 according to the latest projections. According to this chart, unemployment will remain above 8% until the end of 2012.

President Obama has been trying to spin the recession as over since last October, but there is no consensus the recession has ended. If the recession has truly ended, we are in a jobless recovery. The new employment claim graph has been flat since last October. (see chart)
