Hey Obama, where are the 600,000 new jobs you promised this summer?

On June 8th Barack Obama promised to speed up the Stimulus projects over the summer and to "create or save" 600,000 jobs.

Barack Obama: "Now we are in a position to really accelerate. The goal here is that we are going to create or save 600,000 jobs over the next 100 days."

The US lost 443,000 jobs in June.
The US lost 247,000 jobs in July.
The US lost 216,000 jobs in August.

Instead of creating or saving 600,000 jobs this summer the US lost 935,000 instead.
