Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is now openly calling for Barack Obama’s re-election

Can you blame him? President Obama gave away the European missile defense. His supporters claimed there must have been a secret deal for Russian help with Iran's nuclear weapons program. That hasn't materialized. Obama either gave away the missile shield for nothing or was naive enough to let the Russians double-cross him, Either way, you can see why they want four more years with a patsy as U.S. President.
When Hillary Clinton famously called for a “reset” of Washington’s relations with Moscow back in March 2009, she should have used the more accurate term, “surrender”. From caving in to Russian demands to scrap plans for Third Site missile defences in eastern and central Europe to signing on to the New START Treaty, US policy towards Russia under the Obama administration has been one wretched give away after another, even stretching as far as handing over sensitive information on Britain’s nuclear deterrent.

Is it any wonder that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is now openly calling for Barack Obama’s re-election? In an extraordinary interview with The Financial Times, the Russian leader gives a glowing account of his US counterpart, in a direct intervention in US domestic politics 16 months ahead of the November 2012 presidential election.
Dmitry Medvedev:
Let me tell you that no one wishes the re-election of Barack Obama as US president as I do

Russia Endorses Obama Second Term

No surprise here.
(Moscow Times) — Amid growing anxiety over whose name will appear on the 2012 presidential ballot, lawmakers and pundits were quick to welcome the news that one president would certainly stand for re-election next year — Barack Obama.

The U.S. president’s announcement, made in an e-mail to supporters Monday, sent many in Moscow praising the achievements of a “reset” in relations that has become a hallmark of both Obama’s and Dmitry Medvedev’s presidencies.

“I will be very happy to see a second Obama term because this will mean a maximum in policy continuity regarding Russia,” Mikhail Fedotov, head of Medvedev’s human right’s council, said by telephone Tuesday.
