Rove has everyone talking about Hillary's age and health. This was sheer genius.

Karl Rove said on Sunday he had no regrets about his comments about Hillary Clinton's health.
“I’m not questioning her health. What I’m questioning is whether or not it’s a done deal if she’s running," the Republican strategist said. "And she would not be a human if did not take this into consideration. She’ll be 69 at the time of the 2016 election. If she gets elected and serves two terms, she’ll be 77.”
In a lively panel discussion on "Fox News Sunday," Rove, also a Fox News contributor, defended his comments on Clinton. Last last week, The New York Post reported Rove said the former secretary of state may have "brain damage" due to a blood clot she suffered in 2012. Rove has since said that he never used the phrase "brain damage," but has largely defended his comments as fair game when discussing a possible 2016 presidential run for Clinton. On Sunday, he said he had no regrets about his comments or handling of the situation.
When host Chris Wallace asked Rove whether he has questions about her "physical ability" to run for president, Rove said: “No, no, no, no. I don’t. I don’t. But I do think that it would not be human if you’re sitting there to say, ‘I’ve had a serious brain injury.’”
“A concussion by definition is a traumatic brain injury," Rove added later, saying that she dealt with a "serious health issue" for 30 days.

Karl Rove: Hillary may have brain damage...

Karl Rove is the latest to speculate about Hillary Clinton and brain damage. After Hillary reportedly had a fall, she has been wearing glasses that correct double-vision.

Karl Rove stunned a conference when he suggested Hillary Clinton might have brain damage.
Onstage with Robert Gibbs and CBS correspondent and “Spies Against Armageddon” co-author Dan Raviv, Rove said Republicans should keep the Benghazi issue alive.
He said if Clinton runs for president, voters must be told what happened when she suffered a fall in December 2012.
The official diagnosis was a blood clot. Rove told the conference near LA Thursday, “Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”
Rove repeated the claim a number of times to the audience. Clinton’s rep said, “Please assure Dr. Rove she’s 100 percent.”

"We started in 2001 to try and reign in Fannie and Freddie. We spent four years doing it. We got a bill through the Senate Finance Committee on a party line vote to reign in Fannie and Freddie in 2005 and one of the first things Barack Obama did when he came in to the United States senate was, because he was the third largest recipient of Fannie and Freddie money he joined a filibuster of every democrat led by Senator Chris Dodd to block that measure from being brought to the floor of the United States Senate. Three years later in September 2008 President Obama, then candidate Obama, voted for the same bill he could have voted for three years ago after Fannie and Freddie collapsed. So don't tell me that we didn't try to do something during the Bush years to reign in the housing problem. We were the people who said let us subject Fannie and Freddie to the same kind of scrutiny that we subject banks, savings and loans and credit unions and it was candidate Obama who refused to join that effort, that would have kept this from being an accelerant to a worldwide financial crisis."

Karl Rove calls Maureen Dowd: "bitter, twisted and deranged" (video)

Karl Rove had a few choice words to describe leftist NYT columnist Maureen Dowd. Politico reported:

Former White House adviser Karl Rove lashed out at New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd on Fox News Channel Wednesday, saying Dowd was a "nasty, snarky person" with a "twisted, bitter little heart."

"I think Maureen Dowd is a bitter, twisted, deranged columnist for The New York Times who misses no opportunity to show her disdain for the conservative side of the aisle," Rove said on Fox News Channel.

"I actually went to an editorial board meeting at The New York Times and wasted a couple bucks on some flowers to give Maureen Dowd ... give her a smile on her face. And that didn't even work," he recalled. "This is a dour, downbeat liberal."
