Apparently, Obama's amnesty extends to employers who hire illegals...

The most lawless president ever strikes again...

Via Washington Times:
President Obama took office vowing to go after unscrupulous employers who hire illegal immigrants, but worksite audits have plunged over the last year and a half, according to a report released Tuesday by the Center for Immigration Studies, tumbling along with the rest of immigration enforcement.
Fewer owners are being arrested, and fewer fines are being collected as well, according to the report, which suggests that even as he offers amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants, Mr. Obama is giving a similar free pass to ever more businesses who provide the jobs magnet that draws them.
Through the first five months of this fiscal year, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted just 181 workplace audits and brought charges against only 27 employers, putting it on pace for fewer than 500 audits and just 65 arrests this year. That’s less than 15 percent of the total audits conducted in 2013.

DACA Update: Immigrant granted amnesty by Obama was gang member who went on to murder 4 people...

The blood is on Obama's hands...

Via Breitbart:
The Obama administration is admitting it granted executive amnesty protections to a known gang member — one charged with four counts of murder — and is now reviewing prior approvals to double check that other gang members have not also been approved for deferred status.
In a letter to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) dated Friday, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Leon Rodriguez explains that Emmanuel Jesus Rangel-Hernandez’s request for deferred status under President Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program “should not have been approved” based on standard procedure.
Rangel-Hernandez is currently charged with the murder of four people, including former “America’s Next Top Model” contestant Mirjana Puhar.

President Barack Obama Hid 100,000 Amnesty Approvals From Texas Judge…

I am shocked...not...

Via Daily Caller:
President Barack Obama’s deputies hid the rapid-fire start of his November amnesty from the Texas judge who is now weighing the amnesty’s legality.
The cover-up was exposed March 3, the same day that top GOP leaders pressured GOP legislators to pass a toothless budget bill for the Department of Homeland Security, which doesn’t block funding for Obama’s unpopular and possibly illegal amnesty.
Obama signed the funding bill March 4.
On Feb. 16, the Texas judge froze Obama’s two-part amnesty, which was intended to provide residency, work-permits and tax-rebates to roughly five million illegals.
The program for roughly 1 million younger illegals is called the “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals,” and it was launched in June 2012, five months before the 2012 election. Obama’s November amnesty upgrades the 2012 DACA work-permits from two years to three years.

Shameful: Boehner bows down and allows Obama Executive Amnesty to be funded...

What's the difference between the having the current GOP leadership in power and having the Democrats run things?

Obama's illegal immigrant amnesty will make it easy for illegals to register to vote...

Obama is keeping his promise to fundamentally change America...

Via The Washington Times:
President Obama’s temporary deportation amnesty will make it easier for illegal immigrants to improperly register and vote in elections, state elections officials testified to Congress on Thursday, saying that the driver’s licenses and Social Security numbers they will be granted create a major voting loophole.
While stressing that it remains illegal for noncitizens to vote, secretaries of state from Ohio and Kansas said they won’t have the tools to sniff out illegal immigrants who register anyway, ignoring stiff penalties to fill out the registration forms that are easily available at shopping malls, motor vehicle bureaus and in curbside registration drives.
Anyone registering to vote attests that he or she is a citizen, but Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted said mass registration drives often aren’t able to give due attention to that part, and so illegal immigrants will still get through.

Outrage: Illegal aliens who didn't file taxes can get refunds when they get Social Security numbers

If only Republicans had the balls to stop this...

Via Washington Times:
IRS Commissioner John Koskinen told Congress on Wednesday that even illegal immigrants who didn’t pay taxes will be able to claim back-refunds once they get Social Security numbers under President Obama’s temporary deportation amnesty.
The revelation — which contradicts what he told Congress last week — comes as lawmakers also raised concerns Mr. Obama’s amnesty could open a window to illegal immigrants finding ways to vote, despite it being against the law.
“While we may disagree about whether your deferred action programs were lawfully created and implemented, we are confident that we can all agree that these programs cannot be permitted to impair the integrity of our elections,” Republican members of Congress from Ohio wrote in a letter to Mr. Obama Wednesday, ahead of a hearing on the issue in the House on Thursday.
Mr. Obama’s new deportation policies, which carve most illegal immigrants out of danger of being removed, and could proactively grant as many as 4 million illegal immigrants work permits and Social Security numbers, are increasingly under fire for ancillary consequences such as tax credits and competition for jobs.

DHS threatens sheriff’s if they don't support funding Obama's amnesty?

If this is true, someone at the DHS needs to be fired.

Mitch McConnell doesn't seem to really want to defund Obama's illegal amnesty EO...

This is why I didn't vote for the turtle.
January 15, 2015 HERSHEY, Pa.—After hearing a week's worth of complaints from his conservative members, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Thursday that the Senate will attempt to approve a House-passed bill that guts President Obama's executive actions on immigration.
Months after the president announced his executive action to protect millions of illegal immigrants within U.S. borders, Senate Republican leaders have been cagey about how they will respond, raising concerns among border hawks within the conference. But McConnell affirmed at a joint House and Senate Republican retreat in Hershey, Pa., that he will work to get the House's bill—which passed that chamber Wednesday—to the president's desk. "We're going to try to pass it," he told reporters Thursday.
The House bill appears very unlikely to pass the Senate, where McConnell will need to attract at least six Democrats to reach the 60-vote threshold to end debate. Although conservatives have called on McConnell to bring the bill to the floor immediately, he did not offer a timeline for consideration on Thursday. Funding for the Department of Homeland Security expires at the end of February.
McConnell did not provide a path forward Thursday in the likely case that the House bill fails. Passing the House bill would "be our first choice," McConnell said. "If we're not able to do that, then we'll let you know what's next." Keep on reading...

Obama threatens to block all funding for DHS if Republicans try to block his illegal amnesty...

This threatened action by Obama won't happen unless someone gave McConnell and Boehner some balls for Christmas.
Everybody knew that one kid when they were younger who, when they didn’t get their way, would pitch a fit and take their toy or ball and just go home.
President Barack Obama basically just pitched a fit and threatened to take his toy called the Department of Homeland Security away from everybody, if the Republicans in Congress won’t fund his illegal and unconstitutional amnesty plans.

According to the Daily Caller, one of Obama’s top aides said that Obama could essentially block all funding for, and essentially shut down, the DHS, if the GOP tries to do anything legislatively about his executive amnesty.
Dan Pfeiffer said that Obama would block all funding for the entire department, and would veto any spending bill if the Republicans try to impose cuts to spending aimed at stopping or slowing Obama’s plans to allow illegal immigrants into the country.
This is basically a threat to the GOP to force them to back off plans to defund Obama’s amnesty.

Obama doesn't think any future President will have the political will to undo his illegal immigrant amnesty...

Sadly, he is right unless Republicans can elect a Ted Cruz or similar as President.

Via The Washington Times:
President Obama insisted Tuesday that his successor won’t take the political risk that would come with reversing his recent executive action on immigration reform.
Speaking at a town-hall meeting in Nashville, the president said it’s “theoretically” possible that the next administration could undo the amnesty Mr. Obama has granted to more than 4 million illegal immigrants, but he assured a supportive crowd that such a step it is extremely unlikely.
“It’s true a future administration might try to reverse some of our policies. But I’ll be honest with you — the American people basically have a good heart and want to treat people fairly and every survey shows that if, in fact, somebody has come out and subjected themselves to a background check, registered, paid their taxes, the American people support allowing them to stay. So any future administration that tried to punish people for doing the right thing, I think, would not have the support of the American people,” Mr. Obama said. “It’s true, theoretically, a future administration could do something that I think would be very damaging. It’s not likely, politically, that they reverse everything we’ve done.”

Interesting: Bush appointed judge who criticized Obama deportation policy gets amnesty case...

Look for an early legal setback for Obama's illegal immigration amnesty. of course, Obama will just ignore the judge like he does the Constitution and law.

Via Washington Times:
The states challenging President Obama’s deportation amnesty have already won the first round in court after the case landed in the lap of Judge Andrew S. Hanen, a Bush appointee who issued a scorching rebuke to the Department of Homeland Security last year, accusing it of refusing to follow border security laws.
It could hardly have been a worse outcome for Mr. Obama, who, in order to preserve his policy, will now have to convince a judge who is on record calling his previous, less-extensive nondeportation policies “dangerous and unconscionable.”
Led by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, the 20 states challenging the new policy filed their case in Brownsville. It could have gone to one of two judges — the other a Clinton appointee — but it landed in the lap of Judge Hanen last week, putting Mr. Obama on the defensive early.

Futile Gesture: House passes symbolic bill to block Obama's illegal amnesty...

In order for this bill to work, the Senate has to pass it, if Harry Reid would call a vote, and Obama would have to sigh it. (sigh)
This was the bill proposed by conservative Ted Yoho that would, if also passed by the Senate and signed by Obama, block Obama’s authority to remake immigration policy on his own. I … thought we had a Constitution that does that, but I guess we don’t anymore. Obviously, a bill like this isn’t going to get past a Democratic Senate and a Democratic president, which means this was an empty gesture designed to show grassroots righties that the leadership shares their concerns about O’s power grab even if they’re not prepared to play hardball to stop it.
The burning question: With House tea partiers complaining that the bill was meaningless and ineffectual, could Boehner still find a majority to pass it? Yup, as it turns out. Although he needed a little Democratic help to cross the 218 threshold.

Surprise: House GOP ready to break campaign promise to fight President Obama’s admin amnesty

Actually, very few people are surprised.

Via National Review:
Senator Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.) suggested that House Republicans are on the verge of breaking their campaign promise to fight President Obama’s administrative amnesty, as evidenced by the legislative text currently being circulated.
Sessions said that the proposed language “fails to meet [the] test” established by Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus, who promised earlier this year that the GOP would do everything possible to thwart Obama’s executive orders.
“The executive amnesty language is substantially weaker than the language the House adopted this summer, and does not reject the central tenets of the President’s plan: work permits, Social Security and Medicare to 5 million illegal immigrants—reducing wages, jobs and benefits for Americans,” Sessions said in the statement expressing his dissatisfaction with the results of a House Republican conference meeting.

Rasmussen: 62% of Likely U.S. Voters oppose the president granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants

In case you missed this Monday...
(Rasmussen)- Most voters oppose President Obama's reported plan to unilaterally grant amnesty to several million illegal immigrants and think Congress should challenge him in court if he goes ahead with it.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 62% of Likely U.S. Voters oppose the president granting amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants without the approval of Congress. Just 26% are in favor of Obama's plan, while 12% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Only 24% think the president has the legal authority to grant amnesty to these illegal immigrants without Congress’ approval. Fifty-seven percent (57%) believe the president does not have the legal right to do so. Eighteen percent (18%) are undecided.

House Republicans surrender to Obama's amnesty proposal, plan to trick their base supporters...

Jonathan Gruber isn't the only one who thinks you are stupid. The House GOP thinks so too...
You people are being played by the GOP. Remember when the GOP wanted to raise the debt ceiling, but claim they would oppose it. They voted to raise it, but then Congress could vote to stop the raise. The President could then veto the stoppage and the debt ceiling would raise. But the GOP could claim they opposed him.
That is happening again. This time it is with amnesty.
The House GOP is going to pass a continuing resolution to fund the government. Then, in January, they will try to defund what they’ve already funded. The President will veto it, but the GOP can say they tried.
They won in a historic wave election against the President with a majority of the public on their side on this issue and they are going to cave.
Already, the House Appropriations Committee has released a statement saying the appropriations process cannot stop the President.

Obama administration ignoring illegal immigrants felony identity theft...

The truth is most illegal immigrants with jobs are using stolen social security numbers and identities. That should be a felony which would exclude them from any form of amnesty, but the Obama administration is looking the other way.

Via Townhall:
Center for Immigration Studies analyst Jon Feere reported at the time that ethnic lobbyists and open-borders businesses lobbied the Obama administration hard "to keep American victims of ID theft in the dark while shielding unscrupulous businesses from enforcement." As an Obama official told The New York Times, DHS employees are "not interested in using this as a way to identify one-off cases where some individual may have violated some federal law in an employment relationship."
Translation: See no identity theft. Hear no identity theft. Speak no identity theft.
A high-profile immigration attorney crowed: "Good news for deferred action applicants: If you used a false Social Security card, you need not reveal the number on your deferred action application forms. The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has clarified that when the forms ask for an applicant's Social Security number, it refers to Social Security numbers issued to the applicant. If you used a friend's number, a made-up number or a stolen number, you should answer N/A for 'not applicable' where it asks for the number."
Since then, more than 500,000 DACA applications have been approved with abysmal oversight, little public disclosure and total absolution for identity rip-off artists. The latest planned administrative amnesty will dwarf that ongoing fiasco.
Those who claim what Obama is planning to do isn't amnesty, should face the truth. Many, if not most, of the illegals covered by Obama's EO will be getting amnesty not just for violating border and immigration laws, but also for felony identity theft and tax evasion.

Reince Priebus: Obama's EO amnesty would be “un-American"

Reince Priebus also claims he thinks Republicans can stop Obama's EO amnesty if they take the Senate. I doubt they have the spine.

Via Breitbart:

Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC), says it’s “un-American" for President Barack Obama to consider implementing an executive amnesty for millions of illegal aliens across the country.

“It’s unconstitutional, illegal, and we don’t support it,” Priebus replied when a Tea Party activist asked him about the president’s plans for an executive amnesty on a conference call hosted by TheTeaParty.net on Monday evening.

“I don’t support it. It is wrong,” Priebus said. "It is un-American for a president to try and do such a thing. I want to make it clear: There is no part of me, there is not a molecule in my body that agrees with the president on executive amnesty.”

Priebus promised the hundreds of activists on the call that the Republican Party, if it takes the Senate on Nov. 4 in the upcoming midterm elections, will do everything in its power to stop Obama from proceeding on the executive amnesty. Priebus even boldly predicted that Republicans can and will succeed in stopping Obama if elected on Nov. 4.
