Obama doesn't think "we" can afford to let you keep your own money

Almost all federal income taxpaying Americans will experience a tax hike if Democrats bock extending the Bush tax cuts. In a clear signal he does not get the message sent by voters on November 2nd, President Obama thinks your paycheck really belongs to the government and "we" can't afford to let you keep so much of it.
But at a time when we are going to ask folks across the board to make such difficult sacrifices, I don’t see how we can afford to borrow an additional $700 billion from other countries to make all the Bush tax cuts permanent, even for the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans. We’d be digging ourselves into an even deeper fiscal hole and passing the burden on to our children.

Palin : “to be dissed like that on national television did not speak well for our president’s character.”

Sarah Palin weighs in on President Obama snapping at Senator John McCaim, "The election is over." She is absolutely correct. President Obama's character is highly suspect. His arrogance is astounding.

The Washington Independent reported:
“Todd and I both saw that,” said Palin, “and we both said, you know, how arrogant for our president to say that.” She called McCain “an American war hero who has sacrificed so much,” arguing that for him “to be dissed like that on national television did not speak well for our president’s character.”

Obama: "Big difference" between '10 and '94 is "me"

This Obama statement was relayed by retiring 'Blue Dog' democrat Rep. Marion Berry.

Via Politico:
Berry recounted meetings with White House officials, reminiscent of some during the Clinton days, where he and others urged them not to force Blue Dogs “off into that swamp” of supporting bills that would be unpopular with voters back home.

“I’ve been doing that with this White House, and they just don’t seem to give it any credibility at all,” Berry said. “They just kept telling us how good it was going to be. The president himself, when that was brought up in one group, said, ‘Well, the big difference here and in ’94 was you’ve got me.’ We’re going to see how much difference that makes now.” [snip]

Rep. Marion Berry did not reveal when President Obama made that statement, but it demonstrates the depth of President Obama's arrogance. The election results from Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts indicate Obama is as clueless as he is arrogant.

Obama "The Arrogant" bans common people from Normandy

Obama has asked that no tour guide services be allowed to operate at Normandy on the day he will be there. It's the 65th anniversary of D-Day and he doesn't want to let ordinary people in. The level of arrogance Barack Obama is capable of is astounding. He is such a contrast to George Bush who was a humble man. When President Bush visited in 2004, the event was open to all. Of course, security was tight. Here is the story from bighollywood.breitbart.com:
A lot of the difference, the change if you will, between Obama and Bush has much to do with the word humility.

George Bush is and was a humble man. Obama thinks the world counts on him and him alone to lead us. Bush went to church and prayed often. Obama puts out press releases about his supposed piety. The left sold a great bill of goods to the American people claiming that Bush, et al. were arrogant while insisting that Obama was a “man of the people.”

The 65th Anniversary of D-Day is fast approaching. Barack Obama will attend the events on June 6th as George Bush did in 2004 for the sixtieth memorial service. Here is the rub, as of now Obama’s State Department has asked (read demanded) the French government not allow tour guide services to operate that day. It is a big day for Normandy tourism. Yet, the king will not allow those not connected with government to enjoy the day. Obama is very important you know. This is an unprecedented request. I hope the French come to their senses and deny it.

Compare that with 2004. Security was tight as President Bush and other world leaders were in attendance, but the event was still open to all. A friend relayed the story of waiting in line to use a port-a-potty (a French port-a-potty no doubt, yuck, believe me.) She looks to her left and who he is in the next line waiting patiently? President Bush. Sure he had Secret Service nearby, but he waited like everyone else.

Contrast that with Team Obama not even allowing regular people near Colleville-Sur-Mer that day. A shame indeed. Especially as the last of our WW II vets are expiring.

Fred Thompson calls Obama 'Naive, Arrogant, Inept'(video)

Fred Thompson: Obama Pursuit of Bush Officials Like Banana Republic, Not U.S.A.

Former Tennessee Senator, presidential candidate, actor and current radio talk show host, Fred Thompson tells Newsmax.TV that for the first time in our history, one administration is thinking about trying another in criminal court. He notes that happens in banana republics and Third World countries, not in the U.S.A. Regarding the CIA memos on enhanced interrogation techniques, Thompson says other people would have gone to jail for what Obama did in declassifying top secret documents. He says Obama is showing "naivete, ineptitude and unbelievable arrogance."
