Chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus: Dems lost midterms because of racist southern whites...
When you have no acceptable excuses, play the race card...
Via Breitbart:
Via Breitbart:
The Chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus said Democrats got walloped in the midterm elections because white Southern voters are racists.
“We lost because of ideological differences within the Democratic Party and with our Administration. We lost because our party has, to some extent, lost white Southerners due in part to the race of our President,” Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-OH) said, according to theCleveland Plain Dealer.
Fudge’s remarks echo those of Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA), the Democrat who is in a runoff with Republican Bill Cassidy in Louisiana. Landrieu blamed racism for Obama’s low approval ratings when asked why President Obama has “a hard time in Louisiana.”

Flashback: U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch thinks voter ID programs are aimed at stopping minority voters...
Al Sharpton is most pleased...
Start at the 30 minute mark. Ms. lynch is clearly hung up on race. She will likely be another Eric Holder clone.

Al Sharpton: Black unemployment is high because of Republicans or something...
Here is what Al Sharpton really meant to say: "Those Republicans must be raaaaciist!!!!"
Via Radio Equalizer:
Via Radio Equalizer:
“One of the reason that I think people do not understand why unemployment has gone down and in some cases black unemployment and Latino’s has remained stagnant is over the last thirty two months Dr. Hutchinson, they’ve increased jobs and found jobs unemployment has gone down in the private sector. What has not gone down is in the public sector and blacks in particular are disproportionately in the public sector.
One of the reasons those jobs have gone down, or have remained down is one the Republicans are cutting a lot of the agencies, where we are the employees are government jobs, government employed and a lot of those jobs go through governors and mayors who are also have had cutbacks. So what we’ve got to do and we addressed that to the President is take on these governors and mayors as well as the private sector on why the private sector is getting all these contract and bailouts and not hiring and correcting the disproportionate amount of their employment does not touch our community and have the President and them support us in that.”

Sad: AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka plays the race card on white union members who didn't vote for Obama in 2008
AFL-CIO members should revolt and fire Richard Trumka's sorry butt...
(Reuters) - ... A quarter of AFL-CIO members did not vote for Obama in 2008.
"Some of this I think was pure racism," said Trumka. "Some of them would be gun owners, some of them would be right-wing. Some of them would be ... died-in-the-wool Republicans."
Democrats acknowledge that Obama is unlikely to capture the white male vote, but say he can be re-elected if he minimizes the damage because of his huge edge with black and Hispanic voters.

Sam Donaldson plays the race card
Sam Donaldson accuses the right of disliking Obama because of his race.
NEW YORK — Shortly after Daily Caller reporter Neil Munro interrupted President Barack Obama’s remarks on changes in immigration policy Friday, Editor-in-Chief Tucker Carlson suggested to The Huffington Post that the reporter’s actions were similar to those of former White House correspondent Sam Donaldson during the Reagan years.
In a later official statement, Carlson again mentioned Donaldson when taking issue with ABC News anchor Diane Sawyer dismissing Munro as a “heckler.”
“I don’t remember Diane Sawyer scolding her colleague Sam Donaldson for heckling President Reagan,” Carlson said. “And she shouldn’t have. A reporter’s job is to ask questions and get answers.”
But Donaldson, remembered for his aggressive questioning during the Reagan years and for sparring with White House press secretaries as an ABC News correspondent, rejected the comparison to Munro.
In the email, Donaldson continued:
. . . and there is one more factor, let’s face it: Many on the political right believe this president ought not to be there — they oppose him not for his polices and political view but for who he is, an African American! These people and perhaps even certain news organizations (certainly the right wing talkers like Limbaugh) encourage disrespect for this president. That is both regrettable and adds, in this case, to the general dislike of the press on the part of the general public.Keep on reading…

Demo Rep. Frederica Wilson: Blacks Are Unemployed Because of Racism or Something
No. More black Americans are not unemployed because of racism. They are unemployed because of the areas they live in and the leaders they have chosen for those areas. Business do not want to move into high tax, high crime, business unfriendly neighborhoods. Unfortunately, many blacks live in neighborhoods that fit that description.

TAMRON HALL: Let me get your response to David Axelrod saying the jobless issue, the unemployment issue, is not exclusive to one community.
FREDERICA WILSON: Well, it sounds good, but it is exclusive to one community.
HALL: But with the national unemployment rate –
WILSON: Well, when you look at African-American males, 40% of them are unemployed, those under 30 years of age. And I understand exactly that the entire nation must be involved in this recovery, but the black community is experiencing a great recession. That’s what we’re experiencing. And all of the growth in the past 30 years, we see it slipping away. From home ownership, the middle class: it’s slipping away from our hands. And it has a lot to do with a lot of issues: racism, shipping jobs overseas, access, no access to technology, you know, the digital divide is there.

Demo Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee Plays the Debt Ceiling Race Card
You knew this was coming. The only question is what took so long?
(The Hill) — Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) on Friday strongly suggested that members of Congress are making it difficult for President Obama to raise the debt ceiling because of his race.
“I do not understand what I think is the maligning and maliciousness [toward] this president,” said Jackson Lee, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus. “Why is he different? And in my community, that is the question that we raise. In the minority community that is question that is being raised. Why is this president being treated so disrespectfully? Why has the debt limit been raised 60 times? Why did the leader of the Senate continually talk about his job is to bring the president down to make sure he is unelected?”
Earlier in her speech, Jackson Lee said Obama has been targeted unlike any other president.
