Shameful: Emails reveal NYT's reporter and former Politico reporter changed stories at behest of Clinton aides?

Can anyone say "No Credibility?"
Eyebrows were raised Tuesday evening after a batch of Hillary Clinton's emails released by the State Department turned up the names of two prominent journalists.
BuzzFeed editor-in-chief Ben Smith and former New York Times correspondent Les Gelb both make a brief appearance in the newly released trove of messages, as the two reporters apparently discussed Clinton-related story ideas with various members of her team. The emails, which cover only the former secretary of state's first year at Foggy Bottom, raise questions about how much input Clinton's people had in the press' coverage of her early days as America's top diplomat.
In one of the correspondences released Tuesday evening, Smith, who was reporting for Politico at the time, discusses possible story ideas with Tommy Vietor, the former spokesman for President Obama's National Security Council.

NYT Michael Schmidt Reports: The State Department Has Now Classified 2 Dozen Clinton Emails (Video)

Hillary claimed she had no classified material on her private server. If the State Department has now decided some should be classified, why couldn't Hillary come to that conclusion? Well, she did have trouble operating a fax machine...

And the top fast food restaurant in customer satisfaction is...

Chick-fil-A is the winner...

Via Time:
Chick-fil-A may generate a lot of political controversy, but when it comes to customer satisfaction the restaurant can’t be beat. The chain earned a higher satisfaction score than any other fast food restaurant, according to a new report by the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
Overall, customer satisfaction at fast food restaurants declined in 2015, according to report. The report explained the change as a result of customers thinking more about food quality than price as the U.S. moves further away from the recent economic recession. As part because of this trend, the more upscale Chipotle Mexican Grill and Panera Bread followed close behind Chick-fil-A in the rankings.

Man with gay slur carved in his arm faked it and is getting mental health treatment...

I hope the man gets the help he desperately needs, but he still needs to face the legal consequences...

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A man who reported someone beat him and carved a homophobic slur into his arm staged the attacks, authorities in rural Utah said Tuesday.
Millard County Sheriff Robert Dekker said Rick Jones, 21, could face charges after officers investigating the series of reported attacks found inconsistencies in the evidence. The Delta man eventually acknowledged faking the harassment, Dekker said.
Brett Tolman, an attorney for Jones, said the reports were a cry for help initially directed toward people close to him, and Jones didn't realize how much attention they would get.

Obama is blocking attempts to arm Kurds...

If there are any good guys in the middle East, the Kurds are in that group. They have proven to be brave and effective fighters against ISIS. Obama doesn't want them to have heavy weapons. It's almost like he is secretly rooting for ISIS.
The United States has blocked attempts by its Middle East allies to fly heavy weapons directly to the Kurds fighting Islamic State Jihadists in Iraq, The Telegraph has learnt.
Some of America’s closest allies say President Barack Obama and other Western leaders, including David Cameron, are failing to show strategic leadership over the world’s gravest security crisis for decades.
They now say they are willing to “go it alone” in supplying heavy weapons to the Kurds, even if means defying the Iraqi authorities and their American backers, who demand all weapons be channelled through Baghdad.

Flashback to 2009: Elena Kagan testified “There is no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage”

Pants on fire...
...Kagan’s 2009 testimony before the Senate during confirmation hearings on her nomination to be Solicitor General.
In the course of that testimony, Kagan stated:
“There is no federal constitutional right to same-sex marriage”
Hey, she is a liberal. it's OK for them to lie if it advances their cause.

Cowardly Republican leaders skip #Obamatrade signing ceremony...

Boehner and McConnell are an embarrassment to the Republican Party...

Via The Washington Times:
President Obama signed hard-fought trade legislation Monday, thanking Republican leaders who helped get it done and saying the package will “reinforce America’s leadership role in the world.”
“I think it’s fair to say that getting these bills through Congress has not been easy,” Mr. Obama said as he signed the trade bills into law in the East Room. “They’ve been declared dead more than once.”
The two major pieces of legislation grant Mr. Obama “fast track” trade-promotion authority, which allows the president to negotiate a deal and submit it to Congress for an up-or-down vote without the chance for amendments, and expand aid for American workers who lose their jobs due to foreign competition. Members of both parties attended the bill-signing ceremony, although Speaker John A. Boehner of Ohio and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky did not, with Congress on its Independence Day recess.
