Breitbart News has learned that President Obama called U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power into a video conference before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday.
“Ambassador Power and Secretary Kerry were unable to attend Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech before the General Assembly because they were called into a meeting with President Obama, which they participated in via video teleconference,” a State Department Official told Breitbart News.
Although they were both in New York for the United Nations General Assembly meetings, the two high-ranking U.S. officials were notably absent for the entirety of the Israeli Prime Minister’s speech.

Netanyahu: Iran nuclear accord "Historic Mistake"
Israel has no choice now but to attack Iran and destroy their nuclear capability.
Via JPost:
Via JPost:
The Iran nuclear accord hammered out in Vienna between the world powers and Tehran is a “historic mistake” for the world, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday.
Netanyahu's comments came at the start of a meeting with visiting Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders.
Netanyahu, who said that he would relate to the details of the accord a a latter time, said that it is the result of wanting to reach an agreement “at any price.”
The prime minister said that the powers negotiating with Iran – the US, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany – made far reaching concessions on the areas meant to prevent Iran from ever being able to obtain nuclear arms.

Snub: Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu will not meet with Jimmy Carter...
Jimmy Carter went full moonbat as he aged.
Via Washington Examiner:
Via Washington Examiner:
Former President Jimmy Carter won’t be welcomed with open arms when he visits Israel in the coming weeks.
Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a request from the former president to meet with them when he visits Israel in the coming weeks, a senior official told Haaretz.
The Foreign Ministry and the National Security Council of the Prime Minister’s Office made the decision after inner consultations over the past few days. According to the senior official, the decision was made for Rivlin and Netanyahu not to meet with Carter because of what they viewed as his “anti-Israeli” stance over the last few years.
Specifically the Foreign Ministry recommended Carter not meet with the Israeli leaders due to his stance during the summer war in Gaza in which Carter called for the removal of Hamas from the American State Department’s list of terror organizations.
Israel however did approve Carter’s request to visit Gaza during his visit to Israel.

WH says Netanyahu re-election "undermines the values and democratic ideals that have been important to our democracy"
Almost unbelievable...
Via Weekly Standard:
Via Weekly Standard:
In a comment unprompted by any question from the media, White House press secretary lashed into some of the rhetoric Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu used in his reelection campaign. The White House even suggested it had hurt Israel’s democracy and America’s relationship with its greatest ally in the Middle East.
“There’s one other thing that I anticipated might come up that I just did want to mention as it relates to the Israeli elections. Specifically, there has been a lot of coverage in the media about some of the rhetoric that emerged yesterday that was propagated by the Likud Party to encourage turnout of their supporters that sought to, frankly, marginalize Arab-Israeli citizens. The United States and this administration is deeply concerned by divisive rhetoric that seeks to marginalize Arab-Israeli citizens,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest told the media aboard Air Force One today.
“It undermines the values and democratic ideals that have been important to our democracy and an important part of what binds the United States and Israel together...

Netanyahu wins decisively...
Barack Obama hardest hit...
Via Times of Israel:
Via Times of Israel:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud party was the clear winner in Tuesday’s election, a near-final tally showed early Wednesday morning, defeating the Zionist Union by a margin of some six seats.
That margin was far more decisive than TV exit polls had predicted when polling booths closed at 10 p.m. on Tuesday. All three TV polls had put Likud and Zionist Union neck-and-neck at 27 seats, albeit with Netanyahu better-placed to form a coalition.
On the basis of those TV polls, Netanyahu hailed a Likud victory, though Herzog refused to concede. As counting proceeded through the night, however, the Likud opened a growing margin of victory.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu disses game-playing Senate Democrats...
A few Senate democrats worried about re-election asked for a private meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He has declined to offer them that fig leaf. Durbin and Feinstein will now have to decide to boycott the speech or break with Obama and attend. Popcorn anyone?
WASHINGTON — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declined an invitation by Senate Democrats to meet during his visit to Washington next week, citing fears it might “compound the misperception of partisanship” surrounding the trip.
“I regret that the invitation to address the special join session of Congress has been perceived by some to be political or partisan,” reads the letter, obtained by The Jerusalem Post. “I can assure you that my sole intention in accepting it was to voice Israel’s grave concerns about a potential nuclear agreement nuclear agreement with Iran that could threaten the survival of my country.”
The letter was addressed to Senators Richard Durbin (D-Illinois) and Dianne Feinstein (D-California), who invited the prime minister to discuss his concerns in detail to Democrats in a closed-door environment, in addition to the address.
Netanyahu said he considers the speech an opportunity to address the representatives of the American people, and not one particularly political party.

He is still coming...
Defiance...
JERUSALEM (AP) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he will travel to Washington to speak before the U.S. Congress next month despite calls to cancel his speech.
His remarks Monday at an election rally come amid an uproar over his planned speech about Iran before Congress next month.
Netanyahu said: “A bad deal with Iran is forming in Munich that will endanger Israel’s existence. … Therefore I am determined to go to Washington and present Israel’s position before the members of Congress and the American people.”
House Speaker John Boehner, a Republican, extended the invitation without discussing it beforehand with the White House. That angered the administration of President Barack Obama.
Obama administration won't meet with Netanyahu before election, but will meet with his opposition leader...
Hypocrisy...
Via Israel Today:
Via Israel Today:
Is the Obama Administration interfering in Israel’s upcoming elections? Recent statements and moves by America’s leaders sure would seem to suggest so.
Last week, both Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State John Kerry announced they would not be in attendance when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addresses a joint session of the US Senate dedicated to the threat of a nuclear Iran.
The White House has been furious with Netanyahu over the planned appearance, which Obama officials insist had breached protocol by being organized without their approval and involvement.
Just days after letting everyone know they wouldn’t be on hand to greet and listen to Netanyahu, both Biden and Kerry met with Israeli opposition leader Isaac Herzog on the sidelines of a security conference in Munich, Germany on Saturday. And this just a month before Israel’s March 17 elections.

Obama tries to prevent Israeli PM Netanyahu re-election; Netanyahu rises in polls...
Change...
Via WaPo:
Via WaPo:
The Obama administration is going all out to see that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is defeated, but the campaign of veiled threats and anonymous leaks is backfiring: Instead of sinking in the polls, Netanyahu is rising.[...]
While White House officials were threatening Israel, the news broke that Obama’s 2012 national field director, Jeremy Bird, was headed to Tel Aviv to manage a grass-roots campaign to oust Netanyahu. Bird would not be working to defeat Netanyahu if he thought Obama opposed it. Can you imagine Karl Rove going to London while George W. Bush was in office to help conservatives oust Prime Minister Tony Blair? It further emerged that the group behind Bird’s anti-Netanyahu effort has received State Department funding and lists the State Department as a “partner” on its Web site. Netanyahu’s Likud Party held a news conference to accuse its opponents of accepting foreign funds in violation of Israeli election laws, and Israeli newspapers published headlines on the “Obama-Labor link .”[...]
And indeed the polls in Israel have moved in Netanyahu’s direction since the Obama attacks began.

Push Back: Boehner invites Netanyahu to address Congress without consulting WH
If Obama doesn't care want the GOP controlled Congress thinks, why should they defer to him on anything?
January 21, 2015 President Obama warned Congress Tuesday night that he would veto any new sanctions legislation on Iran, saying it would derail U.S. negotiations in the Middle East. But John Boehner isn't ready to sit out the battle over Iran's nuclear program."[Obama's] exact message to us was: 'Hold your fire.' He expects us to stand idly by and do nothing while he cuts a bad deal with Iran. Two words: 'Hell no!'" the House speaker said during his weekly press briefing on Wednesday. "We're going to do no such thing."Instead, Boehner has invited Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress next month. He didn't consult with the White House before extending the invitation, and administration officials are not happy. Press secretary Josh Earnest said Wednesday afternoon that Boehner's invitation is a breach of normal diplomatic protocol. Typically, a nation's leader would contact the White House before planning a visit to the United States, he said. The White House heard about the invite from Boehner's office, not from the Israelis.

Netanyahu To U.N.: “The Nazis Believed In A Master Race, The Militant Islamists Believe In A Master Faith”…
Pay attention Obama...
Via PJM:
Via PJM:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned the United Nations General Assembly today about “militant Islam” and chided those who don’t see the connections between ISIS and Hamas or Iran.
“Last week, many of the countries represented here rightly applauded President Obama for leading the effort to confront ISIS. And yet weeks before, some of these same countries, same countries that now support confronting ISIS opposed Israel for confronting Hamas,” Netanyahu said.
“They evidently don’t understand that ISIS and Hamas are branches of the same poisonous tree. ISIS and Hamas share a fanatical creed, which they both seek to impose well beyond the territory under their control. Listen to ISIS self-declared caliph, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi,” he continued. “This is what he said two months ago. ‘A day will soon come when the Muslim will walk everywhere as a master. The Muslims who caused the world to hear and understand the meaning of terrorism and destroy the idol of democracy.’”
“The Nazis believed in a master race. The militant Islamists believe in a master faith,” he said. “They just disagree who among them will be the master of the master faith.”

Obama heartache: Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party wins largest faction in Tuesday parliamentary election
Barack Obama hardest hit...
FOX News reported:
FOX News reported:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party emerged as the largest faction in a hotly contested parliamentary election on Tuesday, positioning the hard-liner to serve a new term as prime minister, according to exit polls. But a lackluster performance by Likud, along with surprising gains by a centrist newcomer, raised the strong possibility that he will be forced to form a broad coalition.
The exit polls aired on Israel’s three major TV stations all forecast Likud along with its traditional hardline and religious allies, capturing a shaky majority of just 61 or 62 seats in the 120-member parliament. With official results trickling in throughout the night, it was possible that the two sides could end in deadlock.
In a statement posted on his Facebook page, Netanyahu said he would reach across the aisle and try to form a broad-based coalition.

Via Times of Israel:
The Israeli government on Wednesday accused the White House of lying by denying that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had requested to meet US President Barack Obama later this month in the US.
The accusation will likely serve to further escalate diplomatic tensions between the two countries, which have ramped up in recent days.
“We requested a meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York and also suggested that the prime minister could come to Washington,” for a meeting, a senior government official in Jerusalem told the German DPA news agency on Wednesday.

Obama refuses to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the end of this month

Via Haaretz:
Via Haaretz:
The White House declined Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s request on Tuesday to meet U.S. President Barack Obama during a UN conference in New York at the end of the month.
An official in Jerusalem said that the prime minister’s office sent the White House a message stating that although Netanyahu will spend only two and a half days on U.S. soil, he is interested in meeting Obama and is willing to travel to the U.S. capital specifically for that purpose. The official added that the White House rejected the request and said that at this time Obama’s schedule does not allow for a meeting.
The White House’s response marks a new low in relations between Netanyahu and Obama, underscored by the fact that this is the first time Netanyahu will visit the U.S. as prime minister without meeting the president.

Prime Minister Netanyahu's response to the “flytilla”
He is giving them a letter telling them to go to Syria and he is deporting them. The truth is nobody cares about Palestine anymore. The refusal of the PLO to make peace and the emergence of even more radical Hamas has turned the American people away from Palestinian issues.
(Times of Israel) — The thousand “flytilla” participants expected to arrive in Israel Saturday night and Sunday will be greeted by a large police presence and an official letter telling them to “go to Syria and Iran.”
“First solve the real problems in the region,” like the situations in Syria, Iran and Gaza, the letter reads, “and then come back to Israel to share your experience with us.”
Members of the Prime Minister Office’s PR department will distribute the letter to protesters on arrival. It declaims them for choosing to “protest against Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East, where there is equality for women, a press critical of the government; where human rights organizations are free to act, everyone enjoys freedom of worship, and minorities do not live in fear.”
The letter also wishes the ‘flytilla’ participants a pleasant flight, before they are deported back to their home countries.

Obama hates Netanyahu. Romney is good friends with him.
If you want a U.S. leader who will work closely with Israel, Mitt Romney is the man for the job. He has had a long friendship with Benjamin Netanyahu.
(NY Times) — The two young men had woefully little in common: one was a wealthy Mormon from Michigan, the other a middle-class Jew from Israel.
But in 1976, the lives of Mitt Romney and Benjamin Netanyahu intersected, briefly but indelibly, in the 16th-floor offices of the Boston Consulting Group, where both had been recruited as corporate advisers. At the most formative time of their careers, they sized each other up during the firm’s weekly brainstorming sessions, absorbing the same profoundly analytical view of the world.
That shared experience decades ago led to a warm friendship, little known to outsiders, that is now rich with political intrigue. Mr. Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, is making the case for military action against Iran as Mr. Romney, the likely Republican presidential nominee, is attacking the Obama administration for not supporting Mr. Netanyahu more robustly.
The relationship between Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Romney — nurtured over meals in Boston, New York and Jerusalem, strengthened by a network of mutual friends and heightened by their conservative ideologies — has resulted in an unusually frank exchange of advice and insights on topics like politics, economics and the Middle East.
