Interesting: Former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro tells North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to chill...

Castro made it into retirement without getting himself killed or Cuba destroyed.  North Korean leader Kim Jong Un should take heed to Castro's advice.

Via The Daily Caller:
Former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro warned North Korea against war on Friday, and said that it is primarily the United States’ responsibility to prevent a conflict from breaking out.
Castro wrote the advice in a column — his first in nine months — for Cuban state media. He spoke as an ally, from one communist regime to another, in the wake of North Korea’s mounting threats of direct war with South Korea and the U.S.
Describing the current tensions in the Korean Peninsula as one of the “gravest risks” of nuclear holocaust since the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, Castro urged North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to back away from the brink of war, and consider the harmful repercussions his actions might have on both Koreas and the world.

Fidel Castro suffered a cerebral hemorrhage...

Hollywood hardest hit...

Via The Miami Herald:

Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro suffered a cerebral hemorrhage and his state of health is so precarious that he has trouble feeding, speaking and recognizing people, said a Venezuelan physician who assured El Nuevo Herald that he has access to firsthand sources and information.

“He suffered an embolic stroke and recognizes absolutely no one,” said José Marquina, a respected doctor who in the past has claimed to have direct information about the illness affecting President Hugo Chávez of Venezuela.

“The people with a condition of this nature have difficulty eating and, of course, they end up with total deficit in their neurologic capacities.”

Strange: Bears in NK are crying because the 'Dear Leader' passed away

According to North Korean state media, bears are skipping hibernation and crying in the middle of the road because North Korean strongman Kim Jong-il passed away. They also blame plunging temperatures on Kim Jong-il's death. Perhaps if Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would all pass away this year, we could reverse global warming or something.
(Reuters) — The passing of North Korean strongman Kim Jong-il has been marked by plunging temperatures, mourning bears and now, according to North Korean state media, by flocks of magpies.
Kim, who died in December aged 69 years after 17 years running the world’s most reclusive state, was reputed to be able to control the weather, as well as to have scored a miraculous 38 under par round of golf.
“At around 17:30 on December 19, 2011, hundreds of magpies appeared from nowhere and hovered over a statue of President Kim Il Sung on Changdok School campus in Mangyongdae District, clattering as if they were telling him the sad news,” state news agency KCNA reported on Monday.
KCNA reported last week that a family of bears who usually hibernate through the fierce Korean winter had been seen lamenting Kim Jong-il’s death.
“The bears, believed to be a mother and cubs, were staying on the road, crying woefully,” it said.

Fidel Castro wants to replace Obama with a socialist robot or something

Fidel Castro has definitely lost that "Hope and Change" feeling.
(AFP)Cuban revolutionary icon Fidel Castro said Monday that a “robot” would be better in the White House than President Barack Obama — or any of the Republicans candidates in the 2012 election race.

“Is it not obvious that the worst of all is the absence in the White House of a robot capable of governing the United States and preventing a war that would end the life of our species?” Castro, 85, wrote in one of the “reflections” he often publishes in Cuba’s state-controlled media.

Under the title “The Best President for the United States,” Cuba’s ex-president said that if faced with a choice between Obama, a Republican rival or a robot, “90 percent of voting Americans, especially Hispanics, blacks and the growing number of the impoverished middle class, would vote for the robot.”

Obama, Castro said, is “hopelessly immersed in seeking re-election,” and “the dreams of (civil rights icon) Martin Luther King are thousands of light years further away than the nearest inhabitable planet.” Read more here..

Fidel Castro writes column expressing concern for global warming and nuclear war

President Obama is most pleased. In other news, Fidel Castro is still alive.
(Miami Herald)- Putting to rest rumors that he had died, former Cuban leader Fidel Castro has published his first column in nearly two months — a 3,121-word exposition on nuclear war, climate change and other threats to the survival of the human species.

The column, titled “The march toward the abyss,” dated Jan. 4 and published Thursday in virtually all Cuban government news outlets, was Castro’s first since Nov. 13 and came at the end of a week that saw rumors of his death spread, particularly on Twitter.

No up-to-date photos of the 85-year-old Castro, who passed on power to his brother Raúl after undergoing emergency surgery in 2006, were published along with the lengthy column. A Cuban television newsman needed nearly 30 minutes to read it on air, Havana residents said.

The column hammered on one of the retired Castro’s favorite topics, arguing that the dangers of nuclear war and climate change “are decisive, and both are each day further from a solution.”

“What I am trying to do is to put myself at a point within our species so I can speak about the march toward the abyss. I could even speak of an ‘inexorable’ march, and I would surely be closer to reality,” the former Cuban leader wrote.

Fidel Castro Loses The "Hope and Change" Feeling

Even communist dictators are on to Obama now. In Castro's mind, Obama has gone from 'intelligent and sincere' to 'the best snake charmer' ever.

AFP
reported:
The United States is "going through a difficult phase as the result of its war exploits" and using its "enormous media resources to maintain, dupe and confuse world public opinion," Castro said.

"Obama already admitted that his promise to withdraw US soldiers from Afghanistan may be postponed ... After the Nobel Prize, we would have to award him with the prize for 'the best snake charmer' that has ever existed."

Fidel Castro's Corpse is Still Animated or Something

After failing to be seen in public for four years, Fidel Castro was photographed Saturday. He is either still living or his corpse has been animated by some evil Santeria ritual. Members of the Congressional Black Caucus must be ecstatic.

The NY Daily News reported:
He's alive!

Fidel Castro, who hasn't been photographed in public...

Castro, 83, has not been spotted out and about since falling seriously ill in 2006....

"He is thin but he looks good, and according to our director, he is very good mentally," the worker wrote in a comment accompanying the photos.

Obama Receives Praise for Passing Obamacare: From Fidel Castro

Well, at least someone is happy about Obamacare passing. Fidel Castro call it a "miracle." Castro also said it would strengthen the president's hand against "mercenaries." Mercenaries?

AP reported:

Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro on Thursday declared passage of American health care reform "a miracle" and a major victory for Obama's presidency, but couldn't help chide the United States for taking so long to enact what communist Cuba achieved decades ago.
