Rev. Jesse Jackson: Hugo Chavez had a lot in common with our founding fathers or something...

Our founding fathers would have shot Chavez as a tyrant...

Via WFB:
Jesse Jackson Sr. defended the legacy of deceased Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Friday, saying that U.S. presidents owned slaves and democracies “evolve” and “mature” in an interview with CNN.
“What do you say to the Venezuelans, not only in the opposition but those who have fled the country, who considered Hugo Chavez a vile dictator?” Wolf Blitzer asked Jackson.
“Well, you know, democracies mature,” Jackson replied. “Our first 15 presidents owned people. They owned slaves. Democracies mature.”

Liberal Heartache: Rev. Jesse Jackson 'feels pain' of LAPD killer

Rev. Jesse Jackson is an attention whore...
...KNX 1070′s Charles Feldman reports the civil rights icon and leader of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition said he would gladly receive Dorner himself in order to save lives.  [...]

Jackson released a public letter Tuesday addressed to Dorner, saying “Apparently you have been wounded by your past experiences of what you have stated in losing your job. I understand your feelings of being hurt.”
On a side note, if  Dorner's plan was to make the LAPD look like a bunch of cowardly, trigger-happy incompetents, he has succeeded.

Democrats use Aurora shooting to call for more gun control...

NYC Mayor Bloomberg and Jesse Jackson use the Aurora shooting to advance the liberal cause of gun control. Newt Gingrich destroys them.

As a side note, the theater where the shooting was a gun free zone. A single person with a conceal and carry permit might had reduced the carnage. We will never know.

White tourist being beaten, robbed and stripped in downtown Baltimore. Al Sharpton nowhere to be seen. (video)

The victim was white and, from what can be seen on the video, the attackers were black. This happened on St. Patrick's Day. Where is the outrage from Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? I know I will never be in Baltimore after seeing this video. Warning: This video is disturbing.

Hyperbole: Jesse Jackson Claims Gov. Brewer ‘Gave President Obama the Finger’

Jesse Jackson in a typical Jackson overreaction claims Gov. Brewer ‘Gave President Obama the Finger.’ Of course he brings up George Wallace and Dr. King to tie in the race card.

Via NewsBusters:
It was a routine Saturday morning at Rev. Jesse Jackson's Rainbow PUSH forum, broadcast nationally on the Word Network. He was all over the map. Jackson trashed Ronald Reagan, Barry Goldwater, Newt Gingrich, and Mitt Romney. He warned that enterprises such as black funeral homes and black insurance companies are “under attack.” He condemned a proposed change in Grammy Award classifications. Jackson also spoke out against Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, who, he said, “did the ultimate insult. She put her finger in his (President Barack Obama) face.” Jackson wants people to call and complain (video here):

Also, while it’s on my mind, Gov. Janice K. Brewer, the finger person. Gov. Janice K. Brewer, who gave President Obama the finger, governor of Arizona, call 1 800 253 0883. Keep that line real busy. 1 800 253 0883. We’ll give you the number later a little later today and this week on the email number of her press secretary. We want to keep Arizona. . . until she can put her hands in her pocket and have some good. . . do you know how insulting it is to put your finger in somebody’s face? Try it with the cameras rolling, she knew the cameras.

She knew what she was doing. She was telling him off. She was cutting him down to his size. She must never get away with that. Even George Wallace did not put his finger in Dr. King’s face. Say, enough is enough.

Jesse Jackson: Americans against big government are racists or something

Jesse Jackson equates blacks with big government and implies those against big government must be racists. Jackson actually brings up the Civil War. Jesse Jackson's cheese has finally slipped off his cracker.

Jesse Jackson: 'Birth Certificate' is now code word for ancient racial fears or something

Shakedown: Exposing the Real Jesse Jackson

Jesse Jackson is playing the race card? Why am I not shocked?
(POLITICO) — Rev. Jesse Jackson told POLITICO today that the birther movement is part of a larger pattern of rollbacks against civil rights and an attack on the legitimacy of the nation’s first African-American president — reserving special ire for developer Donald Trump and his renewed interest in the conspiracy theory.

“Any discussion of his birthplace is a code word,” said Jackson. “It calls upon ancient racial fears.”

“Trump has trumpeted this cause. For him to go down this low is a bit surprising,” Jackson said, making explicit what many black leaders have suggested. “He is now tapping into code-word fears that go far beyond a rational discourse.”

Priceless: Jesse Jackson Hit With Discrimination Complaint

The complaint alleges Jesse Jackson ridiculed a gay employee of the Rainbow Push Coalition.
(NBC Chicago) — A former employee of the Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. at the Rainbow Push Coalition has filed a bombshell wrongful termination and discrimination complaint against the civil rights leader with the City of Chicago’s Commission on Human Rights.

The complaint, filed sometime last year by Tommy R. Bennett, a regular on the Tom Joyner Radio show and member of Barack Obama’s LGBT Leadership Council, includes shocking details about Jackson’s behavior toward the openly gay staffer including a suggestion that the civil rights leader may have propositioned him.

Jackson has denied the allegations in a legal response that was filed in July 2010 and resurfaced when the Windy City Times published a story Tuesday.

Jesse Jackson Says Budget Fight The American Civil War All Over Again (video)

Could this guy make himself look any more stupid?

Jesse Jackson:
“[T]his really is a Civil War fight,” Jackson said. “This is making the federal government dysfunctional on the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. These guys will support three wars. They’ll support tax dodgers. They’ll support the wealthiest Americans getting tax breaks. They want to cut into education and health care. This is an ideological battle.

Jesse Jackson Plays the Race Card in Wisconsin (video)

Jesse Jackson playing the race card is no surprise. Trying to equate placing limits on public employee unions with the Confederacy is a real stretch.

Jesse Jackson's has a “Jobs, Justice, Peace” and "who stole and stripped my car" moment

I really hate to laugh at a crime victim, but indulge me this time. Ha ha.

The Michigan View reported:
Following the embarrassing news that Mayor Dave Bing’s GMC Yukon was hijacked by criminals this week, Detroit’s Channel 7 reports that the Reverend’s Caddy Escalade SUV was stolen and stripped of its wheels while he was in town last weekend with the UAW’s militant President Bob King leading the “Jobs, Justice, and Peace” march promoting government-funded green jobs.

Yes, your read that correctly. Jackson drove a Cadillac Escalade SUV to a green jobs event. Ha ha again.

Jesse Jackson: "You can't vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man"

Jesse Jackson is a big believer in diversity, except when it comes to political opinions. According to Jackson, you can't be both black and a conservative.

The Hill reported:
The Rev. Jesse Jackson on Wednesday night criticized Rep. Artur Davis (D-Ala.) for voting against the Democrats’ signature healthcare bill.

“We even have blacks voting against the healthcare bill,” Jackson said at a reception Wednesday night. “You can’t vote against healthcare and call yourself a black man.”
