Actually, it was his liberal voting record that doomed Rep. Mike Castle. Instead of admitting the truth, Castle is blaming the messengers for informing the electorate.

Castle has also been accused of being in the pocket of lobbyists. Sarah Plain has thrown her considerable influence behind Castle's opponent Christine O’Donnell. The race is now too close to call.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely Delaware voters shows longtime GOP congressman Mike Castle leading New Castle County Executive Chris Coons 56% to 27%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and 13% are undecided.
